The question that everyone is asking now is if Palantirâs shares have bottomed out or if its capitulation point is yet to come. Amidst the ongoing selloff and the ensuing confusion, there has been a positive development. Short interest in Palantir dropped by almost 19% in the last cycle. This suggests that the selling pressure is cooling down and that the stock may be in the process of forming a bottom. Letâs take a closer look to gain a better understanding of it all.

Shorting Subsides

For the uninitiated, short interest is basically the total number of short positions that are open and are yet to be covered. A sharp drop in the metric indicates that short-side market participants have actively wound up their positions as, perhaps, they feel the stock has become fairly valued and doesnât have much downside potential left. Conversely, a rapid buildup of short interest suggests that market participants are actively shorting the concerned stock, anticipating that itâll quickly depreciate in value in the foreseeable future. So, the short interest metric is a useful tool to gauge the Streetâs ever-evolving sentiment pertaining to any given stock.

In Palantirâs case, its short interest amounted to about 107 million at the end of the last reporting cycle. This figure may not mean much in isolation but it actually amounts to roughly 6.5% of the companyâs total floating shares. Whatâs even more interesting here is that this figure is down by nearly 19% within one month. This considerable reduction indicates that short-side market participants actively wound up their positions in Palantir during the last cycle.

Next, I wanted to see if this short covering was prevalent in the entire software infrastructure industry or if was elevated specifically in Palantirâs case. So, I pulled up the short interest data for 30 other software infrastructure stocks listed on U.S. bourses, that had at least $1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The results were rather interesting. As it turns out, Palantir saw one of the highest levels of short unwinding in the last cycle. First, the stock has already dropped by a considerable amount over the last year and itâs now valued more or less at par with some of the other rapidly-growing names belonging to the software infrastructure industry. This suggests that Palantirâs shares may have limited downside potential from current levels, thereby making them moribund for short-side traders.

BusinessQuant.com

Secondly, Palantir was lambasted in investing circles for several months after its direct listing about how its commercial business wasnât taking off. While some bears suggested that Palantirâs revenue growth entirely hinged on its government ties and secret deals, others felt that the company didnât have any moat to compete in the commercial space. But those days are in the past, as Palantirâs commercial revenue growth has finally taken off in recent quarters.

BusinessQuant.com

Third, Palantirâs commercial revenue growth momentum is likely to continue in the foreseeable future as well, and the segment is likely to become a major growth driver for the company as a whole. See, Palantir has been adding customers at a rapid rate. Its commercial customer count in Q1 was up 205% year-over-year whereas its commercial revenue was up 56% in the said time frame.

BusinessQuant.com

This leads me to believe that these new customers are starting out with relatively smaller contracts and theyâre likely to gradually ramp up spending on Palantirâs platforms as their personnel get familiarized with the new workflows and the companies drop their legacy reporting tools. This implies that Palantirâs commercial revenue growth momentum will remain at elevated levels and eventually become the predominant growth driver for the entire company.

Besides, Iâve also covered in my prior articles how Palantirâs stock-based compensation is subsiding and is no longer a cause of concern, how its insider selling has dropped substantially, and why the company will be relatively unfazed in an inflationary environment. All these factors, collectively, suggest that Palantirâs shares are bottoming out at current levels, making it a very risky short for the time being at least.

Final Thoughts

Iâd like to clarify that short interest data highlights trades that have already taken place in the past. It does not predict trades that are yet to take place and/or the ensuing price action. So, this data should, at best, be used to confirm the trade direction and to ascertain if the underlying investment thesis lines up with shorting activity.

Having said that, the sharp short interest reduction in Palantir should come as a relief for its long-side shareholders. It indicates that the incessant selloff in the stock may now be over and the security may be in the process of forming a bottom. Therefore, I believe this may be a good time to accumulate the stock with a long-term time horizon. Letâs take a closer look to gain a better understanding of it all.Shorting SubsidesFor the uninitiated, short interest is basically the total number of short positions that are open and are yet to be covered. This considerable reduction indicates that short-side market participants actively wound up their positions in Palantir during the last cycle.Next, I wanted to see if this short covering was prevalent in the entire software infrastructure industry or if was elevated specifically in Palantirâs case. This indicates that market participants were far too active with unwinding their short positions in Palantir, than with the other stocks.BusinessQuant.comAnother point to note here is that this short unwinding took place while Palantirâs shares were still subdued. If the bears had a credible thesis for the company, they would have held onto the short positions a little longer in a bid to profit from further price declines. But these traders covered their short positions instead, perhaps because they perceive the stock to have bottomed out and/or have little downside potential from current levels.BusinessQuant.comThis begs the question â why are market participants actively unwinding their short positions in Palantir in the first place?Reasons for CautionThere are broadly 3 reasons as to why market participants may be scrambling to cover their shorts in Palantir. The company's $8.2 billion revenue guidance for this quarter would translate into a 36% year-over-year gain, while the $2.30 per share adjusted earnings forecast means that its bottom line is on track to more than double from the prior-year period's $1.08 per share.
\n
However, the market hasn't appreciated this terrific growth, as the muted stock price performance shows. But that may not be the case forever, as Micron is sitting on a bunch of solid catalysts, which seem strong enough to help it maintain its high levels of growth in the long run.
\n
\n
Micron's compute and networking business unit (CNBU), which is its largest source of revenue and accounts for 44.5% of its top line, witnessed nearly 49% year-over-year revenue growth in Q3. Micron caters to the personal computer (PC), cloud server, enterprise, graphics, and networking markets through this segment. There is great demand for memory chips in all these markets, which is leading to tight supplies and higher prices.
\n
Memory market research firm TrendForce estimates that the price of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) could increase between 3% and 8% in the third quarter of the calendar year over Q2. The price increase is a result of strong server and PC DRAM demand and constrained supply.
\n
Similarly, the demand for NAND flash has also remained high due to the increased adoption of SSDs (solid-state drives) in both consumer PCs and enterprise hardware. A tight supply means that the price of NAND flash memory is expected to increase between 5% and 10% this quarter, which bodes well for Micron's storage business unit (SBU). The segment produced 13% of Micron's top line last quarter, and its revenue was flat year over year at $1 billion -- but it could improve given the end-market dynamics.
\n
The mobile business unit, meanwhile, has hit a purple patch. Its revenue increased 31% year over year in Q3 thanks to the ramp-up in 5G smartphone demand. With 5G smartphones expected to increase at a whopping pace in the next five years, Micron's mobile business has room to run higher.
\n
The robust memory demand isn't going to go away anytime soon. According to a third-party forecast, memory chip demand is expected to increase 31.7% in 2021, followed by a double-digit increase in 2022, which explains why analysts expect Micron's growth to pick up the pace next fiscal year.
\n
MU Revenue Estimates for Current Fiscal Year data by YCharts
\n
The case for Nvidia
\n
Nvidia's stock market returns in 2021 have been driven by the company's outstanding results. The graphics specialist is growing at a much faster pace than Micron, with its fiscal first-quarter revenue jumping 84% year over year to $5.66 billion. Tremendous demand for Nvidia's graphics cards, which are used in PCs, sent its video gaming revenue soaring. The segment's revenue doubled year over year and accounted for close to half of its top line.
\n
There are two reasons why the video gaming segment is set for terrific growth in the long haul. First, Nvidia dominates this market with a market share of 81%, according to Jon Peddie Research. It is also worth noting that the chipmaker has substantially increased its presence in the gaming laptop market.
\n
The company's dominant position in the gaming graphics card market brings us to the second reason why this segment is built for growth. Jon Peddie Research estimates that gaming graphics cards could generate $54 billion in revenue by 2025, which would be a big jump over last year's sales of $23.6 billion. Nvidia sold $7.76 billion worth of graphics cards in fiscal 2021, so the additional revenue opportunity on offer and the company's huge market share indicates that this business still has a lot of room for growth.
\n
There's a similar story to Nvidia's data center business, which is its second-largest source of revenue. The segment's revenue shot up 79% year over year in Q1, crossing $2 billion in quarterly sales for the first time. With the data center accelerator market expected to clock $53 billion in annual revenue by the end of 2027, according to a third-party estimate, the segment's growth streak seems sustainable.
\n
Nvidia is doing well in the market for data center graphics processing units (GPUs), with large cloud service providers preferring to use the company's chips to accelerate workloads. The data center GPU market alone is expected to generate $20 billion in revenue by 2027. Nvidia sold almost $6.7 billion worth of data center GPUs last fiscal year, and the massive revenue opportunity points toward more upside in this business.
\n
Throw in the fact that Nvidia is now moving to tap the other fast-growing niches of the data center accelerator market, such as server central processing units (CPUs) and data processing units (DPUs), and it becomes easier to see why this segment probably won't run out of steam. Such solid growth drivers make it clear why Nvidia's earnings are expected to jump substantially in the future at an annual pace of nearly 27%.
\n
The verdict
\n
It is evident that both Nvidia and Micron Technology have impressive catalysts that could help them sustain their impressive pace of growth. Value-oriented investors, however, may lean toward buying Micron stock, as it trades at just 20 times trailing earnings, compared to Nvidia's multiple of nearly 91.
\n
But then, Nvidia is growing at a much faster rate than Micron, as we saw above, which is why its premium seems justified. Additionally, Nvidia dominates its space, while Micron faces competition from the likes of SK Hynix and Samsung. Micron reportedly controls 23.5% of the DRAM market, which makes it a smaller player than the other two, while it stands in fourth position in the NAND market, with a share of just 11.2%.
\n
That's why investors with a higher risk tolerance might want to consider buying Nvidia stock to benefit from the tech giant's supremacy in graphics cards, as it seems capable of outperforming Micron in the future like it has done so far this year.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Better Buy: Nvidia vs. Micron Technology
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nBetter Buy: Nvidia vs. Micron Technology\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-07-25 09:37 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Chipmakers Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU) have had very different experiences on the stock market so far in 2021, even though both companies have been delivering stellar ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"NVDA":"è±äŒèŸŸ","MU":"çŸć ç§æ"},"source_url":"https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/07/24/better-buy-nvidia-vs-micron-technology/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"2153350439","content_text":"Chipmakers Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU) have had very different experiences on the stock market so far in 2021, even though both companies have been delivering stellar results quarter after quarter. The company has even attracted a dedicated community of short-sellers despite releasing spectacular growth results quarter after quarter. As a result, about 12.5% of the float is sold short.
\n
Skeptics see a grim future for the company as the pandemic wraps up and patients return to in-clinic visits. Should you be concerned about all the fear, uncertainty, and doubt surrounding Teladoc?
\n
A big nothingburger
\n
At first glance, the bears seem to have a point: Telemedicine utilization is down 37% from pandemic highs. However, it is still 38 times higher than before COVID-19, and the numbers have stabilized.
\n
During the second quarter of 2021, Teladoc's total members remained roughly unchanged year over year at 52 million. Nevertheless, the company grew its revenue by 109% over the prior year's quarter to $503 million. This was largely due to an increase in platform utilization rates, which soared from 16% to 21.5%. It costs $12.95 per month to enroll in Teladoc's health program, and not all members seek consultations during the year.
\n
Its subsidiary Livongo, which runs a digital health app that improves disease management for people with diabetes, performed remarkably. It added more than 200,000 members in the same period for a total of 715,000. Patient satisfaction remains high across both Teladoc and Livongo. The two apps are both rated 4.8 out of 5 stars by close to 340,000 reviewers on the Apple App Store.
\n
Recent surveys have shown that patients who utilize telehealth tend to have acute, low-intensity conditions that often resolve on their own, or are seeking treatment for chronic conditions. All this falls right into Teladoc's expertise. In addition to primary care, Teladoc offers a telepsychiatry platform, treating various conditions including anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. Seventy-six percent of patients report feeling better after their consultation, according to the company.
\n
Moving forward, its enterprise healthcare solutions will become one of two major catalysts for growth. More than 40% of Fortune 500 companies use Teladoc for their employees as part of health insurance packages. The service has an ample value proposition, as online consultations are far cheaper than in-person ones overall.
\n
The other area in which Teladoc could expand is telepharmacy. The company currently does not dispense drugs on its platform; it's focused on achieving growth in consultations and chronic disease management. But both of those services would synergize very well with the idea of becoming a telepharmacy, as that setup would allow in-house physicians to prescribe medications through a national fulfillment center, instead of requiring individual pharmacies to get involved after visits.
\n
The key metric Teladoc nailed
\n
In my opinion, it's not the company's increase in total visits, utilization rate, or revenue investors should be excited about. It's profitability. During the quarter, Teladoc generated $39.56 million in free cash flow -- its highest in history. Many old-school investors shunned Teladoc for its lack of profitability over the years, questioning how it could keep ramping up its physicians' pay to grow users and break even doing so. But happily, a sharp increase in utilization solved that problem. The company has even attracted a dedicated community of short-sellers despite releasing spectacular growth results quarter after quarter. As a result, about 12.5% of the float is sold short. \nSkeptics see a grim future for the company as the pandemic wraps up and patients return to in-clinic visits. Should you be concerned about all the fear, uncertainty, and doubt surrounding Teladoc? \nA big nothingburger \nAt first glance, the bears seem to have a point: Telemedicine utilization is down 37% from pandemic highs. However, it is still 38 times higher than before COVID-19, and the numbers have stabilized. \nDuring the second quarter of 2021, Teladoc's total members remained roughly unchanged year over year at 52 million. \nIts subsidiary Livongo, which runs a digital health app that improves disease management for people with diabetes, performed remarkably. It added more than 200,000 members in the same period for a total of 715,000. Patient satisfaction remains high across both Teladoc and Livongo. The two apps are both rated 4.8 out of 5 stars by close to 340,000 reviewers on the Apple App Store. \nRecent surveys have shown that patients who utilize telehealth tend to have acute, low-intensity conditions that often resolve on their own, or are seeking treatment for chronic conditions. All this falls right into Teladoc's expertise. In addition to primary care, Teladoc offers a telepsychiatry platform, treating various conditions including anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. Seventy-six percent of patients report feeling better after their consultation, according to the company. \nMoving forward, its enterprise healthcare solutions will become one of two major catalysts for growth. More than 40% of Fortune 500 companies use Teladoc for their employees as part of health insurance packages. The service has an ample value proposition, as online consultations are far cheaper than in-person ones overall. \nThe other area in which Teladoc could expand is telepharmacy. \nThe key metric Teladoc nailed \nIn my opinion, it's not the company's increase in total visits, utilization rate, or revenue investors should be excited about. This should settle the question for the time being. \nAll things considered, I expect Teladoc to sustain its growth through integration and expansion into just about every medical field suitable for telehealth. It is a solid healthcare stock to buy on the dip even at 11.5 times forward revenue. That's higher than the sector average, but the company has earned it, boasting a higher revenue growth rate than competitors including Amwell and Ontrak.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":154,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9043528430,"gmtCreate":1655945598920,"gmtModify":1676535737266,"author":{"id":"4089018853439370","authorId":"4089018853439370","name":"BrOoKe","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a8081ab75c39abcb57e6136431300155","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Having it since it 20 usdđđ","listText":"Having it since it 20 usdđđ","text":"Having it since it 20 usdđđ","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9043528430","repostId":"1173738167","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":95,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"4100833454173050","authorId":"4100833454173050","name":"DiAngel","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/f7c2ee91188421bf874cdbc97fb77886","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0},"content":"I better than you by $2+","text":"I better than you by $2+","html":"I better than you by $2+"}],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":173691778,"gmtCreate":1626656192394,"gmtModify":1703762735332,"author":{"id":"4089018853439370","authorId":"4089018853439370","name":"BrOoKe","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a8081ab75c39abcb57e6136431300155","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Never heard of Etro brand before, iâm sure that LVMH will make it more worldwide ","listText":"Never heard of Etro brand before, iâm sure that LVMH will make it more worldwide ","text":"Never heard of Etro brand before, iâm sure that LVMH will make it more worldwide","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/173691778","repostId":"2152682113","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2152682113","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1626654040,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2152682113?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-07-19 08:20","market":"us","language":"en","title":"LVMH-backed fund to buy 60% of Italian fashion label Etro-sources","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2152682113","media":"Reuters","summary":"MILAN, July 18 (Reuters) - L Catterton, a private equity firm backed by French luxury giant LVMH , h","content":"
MILAN, July 18 (Reuters) - L Catterton, a private equity firm backed by French luxury giant LVMH , has agreed to buy a 60% stake in Italian fashion company Etro, two sources familiar with the matter said on Sunday.
\n
The deal values Etro at about 500 million euros ($590 million), the sources said, confirming reports in Italian newspapers La Repubblica and Il Sole 24 Ore.
\n
A spokesperson for Etro declined to comment. Their market caps, not so much.
\n
This past week, the worldâs five largest tech companiesâApple(ticker: AAPL),Microsoft(MSFT),Amazon.com(AMZN),Alphabet(GOOGL), andFacebook(FB)âall reported quarterly results. Their collective performance was astonishing. As a group, their revenue increased 36%, to $332 billion. These companies spent the pandemic making gobs of money.
\n
Butinvestors were unimpressed. While Alphabet inched 1.3% higher for the week, the others were all down. Amazongot the worst reception; its stock fell 7.6% on Friday. With all five hovering near all-time highs, investors are taking profits, worried that growth rates are going to slow from here. Beneath the surface, the concerns are well founded. Here are the key takeaways from Big Techâs huge earnings:
\n
The pandemic boom is over.Thatâs not to say the pandemic itself is overâthe Delta variant is wreaking havocâbut Americans have already made changes in their behavior, and those adjustments are having a major impact on the tech giants.
\n
It starts with e-commerce. Amazon Chief Financial Officer Brian Olsavsky said on the companyâs earnings call that starting in mid-May, growth in e-commerce sales dropped into the midteens from the 30%-to-40% range. People are getting vaccines and leaving the house to buy things that just a few months ago they would have bought online. Theyâre also shifting some disposable income from online shopping to travel, restaurants, and even events. Olsavsky sees continued tough comparisons for Amazonâand midteens growth ratesâfor the next few quarters.
\n
Applebeat expectations in all of its segments, but growth is slowing there, too. Mac sales were up 16% in the June quarter, down from 70% growth three months earlier. iPad sales were up 12%, versus 79% in the March period. This is all still better than before the pandemic, but it suggests that the furious shopping spree for home offices and virtual schooling is coming to an end.Logitech(LOGI), which makes PC peripherals like mice and webcams, had 66% revenue growth in the June quarter, but it sees flat revenue for its fiscal year ending in March 2022.
\n
Component shortages continue. The marketâs biggest issue with Appleâs quarter was its warning that the chip supply shortage has worsened since the end of Juneâand that the issue will affect the availability of iPads and, even worse, iPhones. In September, Apple is expected torelease the iPhone 13âand thereâs a risk that Apple might not be able to meet demand.Qualcomm(QCOM) this past week warned that the chip shortage could drag into 2022. This could take a while to fix.
\n
Meanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook said on the companyâs earnings call that shipping costs are higher, too. I saw evidence of that from my seat at a San Francisco Giants game this past week. Looking past McCovey Cove toward San Francisco Bay, there were at least a dozen container ships lined up to get into the Port of Oakland, which saw an 11% increase in cargo volume in the first half. The port is backed up in part due to a shortage of dockworkers. Freight rates are at record levels, and the holiday merchandising season is fast approaching, adding to demand for freight capacity.
\n
Online advertising is blazing hot.On a brighter note for investors, Alphabetâsad business grew 68% in the latest quarter, including an 84% jump in advertising at YouTube. Facebookâsad business grew 56%, driven by a 47% year-over-year increase in ad pricing. Amazonâs âotherâ revenue category, mostly ads, was up 87%, to $7.9 billion, nearly $1 billion better than Wall Street estimates. Apple doesnât break out advertising, but ad strength contributed to the 33% growth in the companyâs services business. Microsoft saw a53% jump in search ads(remember Bing?) and a 97% jump in advertising at LinkedIn. It all stems from the reopening of the economy. Alphabet told analysts that the biggest driver of ad growth was retail, with strong contributions from travel, financial services, and media and entertainment. People are shopping, eating out, and going on vacation, and thatâs driving ads.
\n
Cloud adoption is accelerating. The digital transformation trend that everyone in enterprise computing talks about is the real deal. For Amazon, the slowdown in e-commerce growth overshadowed a fantastic quarter for its Amazon Web Services cloud unit, which grew 37%âaccelerating from 32% in the March quarterâ to $14.8 billion. That was $500 million better than estimates. Microsoft Azure revenue was up 51%, beating the Wall Street consensus by nine percentage points. Alphabet posted 54% growth in its Google Cloud business, accelerating from 46% growth in the March quarter. Google Cloud is rapidly approaching a $20 billion annual revenue run rate. Give it a cloud-like sales multiple of 20 times and the business is worth $400 billion, constituting more than 20% of Alphabetâs current market value.
\n
The wild card.Regulators and legislators scrutinizing Big Tech are surely looking at the latest results and finding a new sense of purpose. The big are getting bigger. And the regulatory risks are getting riskier.
","source":"lsy1610680873436","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Big Tech Earnings Sparkled. Mac sales were up 16% in the June quarter, down from 70% growth three months earlier. iPad sales were up 12%, versus 79% in the March period. This is all still better than before the pandemic, but it suggests that the furious shopping spree for home offices and virtual schooling is coming to an end.Logitech(LOGI), which makes PC peripherals like mice and webcams, had 66% revenue growth in the June quarter, but it sees flat revenue for its fiscal year ending in March 2022.\nComponent shortages continue. This could take a while to fix.\nMeanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook said on the companyâs earnings call that shipping costs are higher, too. Freight rates are at record levels, and the holiday merchandising season is fast approaching, adding to demand for freight capacity.\nOnline advertising is blazing hot.On a brighter note for investors, Alphabetâsad business grew 68% in the latest quarter, including an 84% jump in advertising at YouTube. People are shopping, eating out, and going on vacation, and thatâs driving ads.\nCloud adoption is accelerating. Give it a cloud-like sales multiple of 20 times and the business is worth $400 billion, constituting more than 20% of Alphabetâs current market value.\nThe wild card.Regulators and legislators scrutinizing Big Tech are surely looking at the latest results and finding a new sense of purpose. The big are getting bigger. And the regulatory risks are getting riskier.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":79,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":803650427,"gmtCreate":1627437507669,"gmtModify":1703489931629,"author":{"id":"4089018853439370","authorId":"4089018853439370","name":"BrOoKe","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a8081ab75c39abcb57e6136431300155","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$NRX Pharmaceuticals Inc.(NRXP)$??","listText":"$NRX Pharmaceuticals Inc.(NRXP)$??","text":"$NRX Pharmaceuticals Inc.(NRXP)$??","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/3258ee0c67894b2a564fd35730689cf7","width":"828","height":"1434"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/803650427","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":336,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":800929640,"gmtCreate":1627273054480,"gmtModify":1703486477674,"author":{"id":"4089018853439370","authorId":"4089018853439370","name":"BrOoKe","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a8081ab75c39abcb57e6136431300155","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Apple(AAPL)$From tiger broker thaks!","listText":"$Apple(AAPL)$From tiger broker thaks!","text":"$Apple(AAPL)$From tiger broker thaks!","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/553f8dab5569b11fabf99a4982f4082e","width":"828","height":"1434"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/800929640","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":38,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":178706768,"gmtCreate":1626835211254,"gmtModify":1703766110050,"author":{"id":"4089018853439370","authorId":"4089018853439370","name":"BrOoKe","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a8081ab75c39abcb57e6136431300155","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wowww","listText":"Wowww","text":"Wowww","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/178706768","repostId":"1175096076","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1175096076","pubTimestamp":1626831835,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1175096076?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-07-21 09:43","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Bezos Gives $100 Million to JosĂ© AndrĂ©s After Return From Space","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1175096076","media":"Bloomberg","summary":"Jeff Bezos made big news on Tuesday and not just forflying into space.\nIn a press conference followi","content":"
Jeff Bezos made big news on Tuesday and not just forflying into space.
\n
In a press conference following his 11-minute Blue Origin flight, theAmazon.com Inc. founder announced a $100 million award toJosé Andrés.
\n
The Nobel Peace Prize-nominated chef will donate the money toWorld Central Kitchen, the nonprofit he cofounded in 2010 that helps feed and support people in disaster-stricken areas around the world. Those challenges can crush high-growth tech companies that aren't profitable and trade at frothy valuations.

However, blue-chip tech stocks that have wide moats, pay high dividends, and trade at low valuations will remain more resilient during a market downturn. Here are three stocks that fit that description: HP (NYSE:HPQ), Juniper Networks (NYSE:JNPR), and Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO). Let's find out a bit more about these three high-yield tech stocks.

1. HP

HP is one of the world's largest producers of PCs and printers. Both businesses grew during the pandemic as work-from-home trends and DIY projects sparked fresh demand for new PCs and printers, respectively.

HP's consumer-facing business faced tough post-lockdown comparisons throughout 2021, but the growth of its commercial business offset that slowdown as more businesses reopened and upgraded their aging systems.

HP's revenue and adjusted earnings rose 12% and 66%, respectively, in 2021. Analysts expect its revenue and adjusted earnings to grow another 3% and 10%, respectively, in 2022, as its year-over-year comparisons stabilize.

HP also returned more than 100% of its free cash flow (FCF) to its investors via buybacks and dividends in 2021. It's reduced its share count by 36% over the past five years, and it's boosted its dividend every year since it spun off Hewlett-Packard Enterprise in late 2015.

HP currently pays a forward dividend yield of 2.7% and its stock still looks cheap at less than nine times forward earnings. Its high yield, low valuation, and stable growth rates make it a solid stock to own in a wobbly market.

2. Juniper Networks

Juniper sells networking switches, routers, and security software. It's a lot smaller than market leader Cisco, but it continues to grow at a steady rate as it sells more cloud-ready hardware and services to offset the slower growth of its legacy service provider products.

Juniper struggled in 2020 as the pandemic and other macro headwinds throttled demand for its products. Its supply chain and logistics expenses also soared and offset the growth of its higher-margin software business. But in the first nine months of 2021, its revenue rose 7% and its adjusted earnings per share stayed flat as those headwinds gradually waned.

For the full year, analysts expect Juniper's revenue and earnings to rise 6% and 11%, respectively, as its enterprise campus and data center customers resume their network upgrades. Next year, they expect its revenue and earnings to grow 5% and 14%, respectively.

Juniper pays a forward dividend yield of 2.2%. It doesn't consistently raise that payout every single year, but it spent just 44% of its FCF on its dividend over the past 12 months -- so it has plenty of room for future hikes. Its stock also still looks cheap at 18 times forward earnings.

3. Broadcom

Broadcom produces a wide range of chips for the data center, networking, data storage, and industrial markets. It also owns a smaller infrastructure software business, which it established through a series of big acquisitions.

Broadcom experienced a slowdown in 2020 as the pandemic disrupted its networking, automotive, and industrial markets. Let's find out a bit more about these three high-yield tech stocks.1. HPHP is one of the world's largest producers of PCs and printers. Both businesses grew during the pandemic as work-from-home trends and DIY projects sparked fresh demand for new PCs and printers, respectively.HP's consumer-facing business faced tough post-lockdown comparisons throughout 2021, but the growth of its commercial business offset that slowdown as more businesses reopened and upgraded their aging systems.HP's revenue and adjusted earnings rose 12% and 66%, respectively, in 2021. Analysts expect its revenue and adjusted earnings to grow another 3% and 10%, respectively, in 2022, as its year-over-year comparisons stabilize.HP also returned more than 100% of its free cash flow (FCF) to its investors via buybacks and dividends in 2021. It's reduced its share count by 36% over the past five years, and it's boosted its dividend every year since it spun off Hewlett-Packard Enterprise in late 2015.HP currently pays a forward dividend yield of 2.7% and its stock still looks cheap at less than nine times forward earnings. Its high yield, low valuation, and stable growth rates make it a solid stock to own in a wobbly market.2. Juniper NetworksJuniper sells networking switches, routers, and security software. It's a lot smaller than market leader Cisco, but it continues to grow at a steady rate as it sells more cloud-ready hardware and services to offset the slower growth of its legacy service provider products.Juniper struggled in 2020 as the pandemic and other macro headwinds throttled demand for its products. Next year, they expect its revenue and earnings to grow 5% and 14%, respectively.Juniper pays a forward dividend yield of 2.2%. It doesn't consistently raise that payout every single year, but it spent just 44% of its FCF on its dividend over the past 12 months -- so it has plenty of room for future hikes. Its stock also still looks cheap at 18 times forward earnings.3. BroadcomBroadcom produces a wide range of chips for the data center, networking, data storage, and industrial markets. It also owns a smaller infrastructure software business, which it established through a series of big acquisitions.Broadcom experienced a slowdown in 2020 as the pandemic disrupted its networking, automotive, and industrial markets. However, the inorganic growth of its infrastructure software business partly cushioned that blow.In 2021, Broadcom's revenue and adjusted earnings rose 15% and 26%, respectively, as those end markets stabilized. Analysts expect its revenue and earnings to grow another 12% and 18%, respectively, this year.Broadcom's stock still looks reasonably valued at 21 times forward earnings, and it pays a forward dividend yield of 2.5%. It's raised that payout annually ever since Avago bought the original Broadcom and inherited its brand in 2016, and its dividend consumed just 47% of its FCF over the past 12 months.Investors looking for a well-diversified semiconductor play that will benefit from the secular growth of next-gen markets -- like driverless cars and the industrial Internet of Things (IoT) -- should take a closer look at Broadcom.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":95,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":812750533,"gmtCreate":1630626660522,"gmtModify":1676530358051,"author":{"id":"4089018853439370","authorId":"4089018853439370","name":"BrOoKe","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a8081ab75c39abcb57e6136431300155","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Very scary","listText":"Very scary","text":"Very scary","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/812750533","repostId":"1186835624","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1186835624","pubTimestamp":1630625981,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1186835624?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-09-03 07:39","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Forte Biosciences' shares fall 82% after scrapping development of FB-401 treatment","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1186835624","media":"seekingalpha","summary":"Forte Biosciences announces that it will not continue to advance the development of its atopic derma","content":"
Forte Biosciences announces that it will not continue to advance the development of its atopic dermatitis treatment FB-401 following mid-stage trial results.
\n
Shares slide nearly 82% post market.
\n

\n
In the phase 2 study, the drug failed to meet statistical significance for the primary endpoint of EASI-50 (the proportion of patients with at least a 50% improvement in atopic dermatitis disease severity as measure by EASI), the company said.
\n
\"The topline data is disappointing and we will continue to analyze the data;
