Thrive’s management has a great deal of experience in growing cannabis and creating cannabis products, Aurora reported.Aurora expects TerraFarma to boost its EBITDA, excluding certain items, immediately. Aurora noted that it intends to generate positive, adjusted EBITDA overall in the first half of its fiscal 2023.In addition to the $38 million of cash and ACB stock, Thrive can obtain other cash or stock considerations if it meets “certain revenue targets within two years” of the deal’s closing.Investors should note that Aurora Cannabis is down 30% for the year to date. While you always want to be careful not to chase a high-paying dividend that may be unsustainable, that doesn't mean every high yield is a risky one.

Three investments that should stand out for income investors today are Medical Properties Trust ( MPW -1.10% ), TC Energy ( TRP 0.86% ), and Camping World Holdings ( CWH -6.31% ). Their payouts are safe, and investing $80,000 across these three stocks can result in more than $5,100 in annual dividends for your portfolio.

1. Medical Properties Trust: $25,000

Real estate investment trust (REIT) Medical Properties pays a dividend yield of 5.7%, more than four times the S&P 500 average of 1.3%. Investing $25,000 into the healthcare stock, which is one of the world's largest owners of hospitals, could earn you roughly $1,415 per year just in dividends. The company has been increasing its dividend by an average of around 4% over the past nine years, suggesting that as long as the business remains strong, investors could be earning even more on their initial investment over time.

And there shouldn't be a huge concern about that, given how strong Medical Properties' results were for a volatile year like 2021. Last year, funds from operations (FFO) totaled $976 million and were 63% of revenue, which is better than last year's percentage of 61%. Its FFO per share of $1.65 for the year makes the REIT's expected annual payment of $1.16 this year look very safe.

The healthcare-focused REIT also has more projects and acquisitions on the horizon that will add properties to its portfolio, increasing growth potential. For investors, this is an easy buy-and-forget stock to hang on to for the long haul.

2. TC Energy: $25,000

Another high-yielding payout to consider is from energy infrastructure company TC Energy. Although oil and gas stocks are hot buys now amid rising commodity prices, this is a stock that you can safely hold for years even if oil prices fall.

That's because it's a natural gas pipeline company. So even in prior years when oil and gas prices were low, the company consistently generated profit, and it is not unusual for its net margin to be above 20%.

The company continues to see significant growth ahead, noting in its year-end results that it is advancing capital projects that are worth billions and "are underpinned by strong industry fundamentals as well as cost-of-service regulation and/or long-term, take-or-pay contracts."

TC Energy projects that its comparable earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) will grow by 5% per year until 2026.

This year, the company raised its dividend for the 22nd straight year, and it now yields around 5.2%. A $25,000 investment into this top energy stock would result in approximately $1,293 in annual dividend income.

3. Camping World Holdings: $30,000

The last stock on this list is also the highest-yielding one. Camping World, which sells recreational vehicles (RVs), recently hiked its quarterly dividend payment by 25% to $0.625. At its current stock price, that puts its yield at over 8.1%. I'd suggest taking advantage of this extremely generous payout and investing the most into it: $30,000. If you did, that would be enough to generate $2,430 in annual dividends.

While the high yield may seem worrying, the company's strong fundamentals make this a worthy option for income investors to consider. In February, the company, which calls itself America's Recreation Dealer, reported its year-end results. Camping World experienced significant growth during the year with its top line increasing 27% year over year to $6.9 billion while operating income rose an incredible 68% to $799.5 million.

And given that the pandemic isn't over yet, there could still be strong demand this year for consumers to seek out more local travel options, such as the company's RVs.

Camping World's diluted per-share profit $6.07 for the past year is more than double what the company will pay out this year at its current dividend rate, which also leaves room for more rate hikes should it have another strong year in 2022.

Together, investing in the three stocks listed above could generate more than $5,100 in dividends if you were to allocate $80,000 across all of them.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Want $5,100 in Dividends? The tech giant appears set to launch the new device based on recent leaks, though the speculated device still appears immaterial to the business for years. My investment thesis continues to warn investors that the future growth rates don't match the current stock valuation.

Mixed Reality

The operating system powering Apple's new mixed-reality device appears to have a name now in"reality OS". iOS developers have caught the OS name referenced in multiple locations in source code and App Store uploads.

The news suggests Apple is getting closer to releasing an AR/VR device after reports suggested the tech giant was struggling to complete the device rumored since at least 2017 when Apple purchased VR company VRvana. The latest credible news source has the device delayed until early 2023 with a release prior to the WWDC in June allowing for the developers conference to focus on AR/VR apps. The company plans to release a sleeker pair of AR glasses at a future date.

The reports of the device overheating along with camera and software issues does question the timeline for the device release, but the software updates do suggest Apple is priming the ecosystem for an imminent release of the device in the next year.

The biggest question remains the revenue opportunity in the AR/VR segment. The most recent major product launched by Apple was the Watch back in 2015. The Apple Watch sold an estimated 8.3 million units back in launch year 2015 and has seen sales grow to 46.1 million units in 2021. COVID-19 definitely created a boom in the category during 2020 leading to sales growth of 40x.

Source: Business of Apps

*The table incorrectly shows 2019 twice, instead of 2021.

The Watch product generates an estimated $12 billion to $14 billion in annual sales now. Any AR/VR device will sell far fewer units due to the estimated price in the $1,000 range compared to a watch selling for $300+.

Star Apple analyst Katy Huberty had already estimated the device would generate minimal revenues in the early years. Her forecast has FY26 AR/VR product revenues reaching $29 billion based on the tech giant shipping 31 million units at an average price point of ~$750. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expected2023 sales of 3 million units with a second-generation device approaching 10 million units in 2024. Of course, these numbers were before the recent product delay.

In the early years, the Apple Watch was only producing up to $3 billion in annual sales. The product didn't really take off until the 2nd/3rd generation released in 2018 and 2019.

A similar path for the AR/VR device would predict a successful product wouldn't provide a material growth path until 2026 and beyond. Remember, Apple is forecast to produce FY25 revenues of $463 billion.

Even a product with $10 billion in annual sales won't move the needle for just the Wearables, Home and Accessories category of Apple for the tech giant reported FQ1'22 category revenues of over $14 billion. The total FY21 category revenues were $38.3 billion making a successful AR/VR device only a fraction of this division's revenue alone. Between the Watch and AirPods, the AR/VR device will struggle to even become the leading wearables device.

Source: Business of Apps

Stiff Competition

While most people have already penciled in Apple releasing a successful mixed-reality device within the next year, the tech giant isn't guaranteed success next year.Meta Platforms(FB) already has a hot AR/VR device on the market with plans to at least match Apple, if not top the company in releases of additional category products.

The Oculus Quest 2 was a hot holiday product topping the App Store charts. Consumers have spent over $1 billion on Quest store content already.

At Facebook Connect, CEO Mark Zuckerberg outlined the product cadence as part of the development plan leading to the Reality Labs division to producing a $3.2 billion quarterly loss.Project Cambriaappears set to at least match the mixed reality headset coming out of Apple likely in early 2023. The potential "Oculus Pro" appears the next device in a planned step to true AR glasses in the future after releasing smart glasses with Ray Ban recently.

The big issue is that Apple faces a competitive landscape in the AR/VR device category. The competition appears far more fierce than the Watch segment where several Chinese and a small domestic company are the next toughest competitors.

Investors need to face the reality that AR/VR success isn't guaranteed and won't materially impact revenues and profits for at least 5 years, similar to the path of the Watch. After the big FQ1'22 earnings beat closed out the final demand pull forward and iPhone 5G boost, the new reality is slow EPS growth for a period. Analysts rightfully only forecast Apple producing EPS growth in the 5% to 10% range for the next 3 to 4 years.

Data by YCharts

The biggest risk with the stock trading at 28x FY22 EPS estimates is a period where sales dry out from the pull forward during the economic lockdowns forcing WFH scenarios. The tech giant appears set to launch the new device based on recent leaks, though the speculated device still appears immaterial to the business for years. My investment thesis continues to warn investors that the future growth rates don't match the current stock valuation.Mixed RealityThe operating system powering Apple's new mixed-reality device appears to have a name now in\"reality OS\". iOS developers have caught the OS name referenced in multiple locations in source code and App Store uploads. COVID-19 definitely created a boom in the category during 2020 leading to sales growth of 40x.Source: Business of Apps*The table incorrectly shows 2019 twice, instead of 2021.The Watch product generates an estimated $12 billion to $14 billion in annual sales now. Any AR/VR device will sell far fewer units due to the estimated price in the $1,000 range compared to a watch selling for $300+.Star Apple analyst Katy Huberty had already estimated the device would generate minimal revenues in the early years. The product didn't really take off until the 2nd/3rd generation released in 2018 and 2019.A similar path for the AR/VR device would predict a successful product wouldn't provide a material growth path until 2026 and beyond. Remember, Apple is forecast to produce FY25 revenues of $463 billion.Even a product with $10 billion in annual sales won't move the needle for just the Wearables, Home and Accessories category of Apple for the tech giant reported FQ1'22 category revenues of over $14 billion. The total FY21 category revenues were $38.3 billion making a successful AR/VR device only a fraction of this division's revenue alone. Between the Watch and AirPods, the AR/VR device will struggle to even become the leading wearables device.Source: Business of AppsStiff CompetitionWhile most people have already penciled in Apple releasing a successful mixed-reality device within the next year, the tech giant isn't guaranteed success next year.Meta Platforms(FB) already has a hot AR/VR device on the market with plans to at least match Apple, if not top the company in releases of additional category products. The potential \"Oculus Pro\" appears the next device in a planned step to true AR glasses in the future after releasing smart glasses with Ray Ban recently. The big issue is that Apple faces a competitive landscape in the AR/VR device category. The competition appears far more fierce than the Watch segment where several Chinese and a small domestic company are the next toughest competitors.Investors need to face the reality that AR/VR success isn't guaranteed and won't materially impact revenues and profits for at least 5 years, similar to the path of the Watch. After the big FQ1'22 earnings beat closed out the final demand pull forward and iPhone 5G boost, the new reality is slow EPS growth for a period. Analysts rightfully only forecast Apple producing EPS growth in the 5% to 10% range for the next 3 to 4 years.Data by YChartsThe biggest risk with the stock trading at 28x FY22 EPS estimates is a period where sales dry out from the pull forward during the economic lockdowns forcing WFH scenarios. As evidenced by the booming Watch sales numbers in 2020, consumers might quickly shift towards epic trips this year instead of buying another smartwatch or iPhone. Most companies from Netflix(NFLX) to Roblox(RBLX) to even Meta Platforms have already run into issues with weakening sales trends. Even great companies like Apple can't avoid such trends.TakeawayThe key investor takeaway is that Apple investors need to face the new reality. The upcoming mixed-reality device from the tech giant isn't a guaranteed success, but the market is already pricing in massive sales from a device that clearly won't deliver material sales for up to 5 years.Investors should use the recently elevated stock price above $170 to exit Apple close to the highs.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":386,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9093619617,"gmtCreate":1643605689138,"gmtModify":1676533835633,"author":{"id":"4092749392657430","authorId":"4092749392657430","name":"kiasu","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c5b330f41570d56bc03dec4b28f3ae0d","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4092749392657430","authorIdStr":"4092749392657430"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice insight","listText":"Nice insight","text":"Nice insight","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9093619617","repostId":"1166737119","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1166737119","pubTimestamp":1643586987,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1166737119?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-31 07:56","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Top Ten Billionaires Have Lost Nearly $150 Billion In 2022: Who Lost The Most And The Single Gainer","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1166737119","media":"Benzinga","summary":"An index that tracks how much the richest people in the world are worth paints a grim picture of how","content":"

An index that tracks how much the richest people in the world are worth paints a grim picture of how the beginning of 2022 has fared for the most wealthy.

What Happened: The Bloomberg Billionaires Index tracks the net worth of the richest people in the world. Apple stock climbed relentlessly in 2020, and then again last year. Aided by a spike in pandemic-driven demand for tech devices and lavish liquidity in the system, AAPL recorded one of its best three years of returns ever between 2019 and 2021.

As much as the metaverse and autonomous vehicles can and likely will support the company’s financial results over the next many years, I think that AAPL stock is overdue for a breather. Financially and operationally troubled names like GameStop (NYSE:GME) and AMC Entertainment Group (NYSE:AMC) caught the attention of a group of small retail traders who targeted them in attempts to create short squeezes. Their social media-powered campaigns to act as a group and buy the heavily shorted stocks initially worked, at times, even boosting the share prices of GameStop and AMC by more than 1,000%.

So far in 2022, GameStop and AMC are down by double-digit percentages. So it may not be wise to invest in either of these companies, which are delivering poor operating performances and trading at still-expensive valuations -- but if you wanted to buy one anyway, which meme stock would be the better pick?

The case for GameStop

GameStop's troubles did not start with the pandemic. The video game retailer was too slow to adapt to the changing gaming industry and shifting consumer habits. It sells physical copies of games for consoles and PCs. Meanwhile, these titles are now readily available for download at the same price, so gamers have little reason to leave their homes and travel to GameStop stores. The convenience factor is even more of an issue given the share of the younger gaming demographic -- especially those below 18 years of age -- who may not have the ability to drive to a retailer.

Between 2016 and 2019, GameStop's operating income fell from $653 million to $314 million. Then came the coronavirus pandemic, and in the nine months that ended Oct. 30, 2020, the company reported an operating loss of $202 million.

Now, it's true that management is taking steps to improve its performance. The company has permanently closed 449 stores since October 2020. GameStop had 4,816 locations as of February 2021 across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia.

All of those locations create a high expense base that will leave the company reporting losses on the bottom line for several more quarters, at least. Fortunately for its shareholders, GameStop has $1.4 billion in cash on its balance sheet and only $44 million in long-term debt. Financially, it should have enough cushion to get it through its strategic pivot as it keeps closing locations and lowering expenses.

The case for AMC

AMC, too, was a troubled business even before the pandemic devastated its operations. Before 2020, the company had lost money in four of the previous nine years. Watching movies in theaters has become progressively less appealing to people as the rise of streaming services and rapid innovations in TV screen technology have made at-home viewing an increasingly attractive alternative.

Meanwhile, AMC didn't offer its guests much in the way of an improved experience, and it kept boosting prices on tickets and concessions. For example, in Los Angeles, a movie ticket, a bucket of popcorn, and a soda could set you back by $36. So it's little wonder customers are shunning the multiplex in favor of a Netflix subscription. And now, not only must AMC contend with increasingly strong substitute entertainment options, it must deal with the fact that pandemic-related fears are still depressing box office numbers, too.

For the first three quarters of 2021, AMC reported a net loss of $1.1 billion, an improvement from its loss of $3.6 billion during the same period of 2020. Financially and operationally troubled names like GameStop (NYSE:GME) and AMC Entertainment Group (NYSE:AMC) caught the attention of a group of small retail traders who targeted them in attempts to create short squeezes. Their social media-powered campaigns to act as a group and buy the heavily shorted stocks initially worked, at times, even boosting the share prices of GameStop and AMC by more than 1,000%.So far in 2022, GameStop and AMC are down by double-digit percentages. So it may not be wise to invest in either of these companies, which are delivering poor operating performances and trading at still-expensive valuations -- but if you wanted to buy one anyway, which meme stock would be the better pick? The case for GameStopGameStop's troubles did not start with the pandemic. The video game retailer was too slow to adapt to the changing gaming industry and shifting consumer habits. It sells physical copies of games for consoles and PCs. Meanwhile, these titles are now readily available for download at the same price, so gamers have little reason to leave their homes and travel to GameStop stores. The convenience factor is even more of an issue given the share of the younger gaming demographic -- especially those below 18 years of age -- who may not have the ability to drive to a retailer.Between 2016 and 2019, GameStop's operating income fell from $653 million to $314 million. The case for AMCAMC, too, was a troubled business even before the pandemic devastated its operations. Before 2020, the company had lost money in four of the previous nine years. Watching movies in theaters has become progressively less appealing to people as the rise of streaming services and rapid innovations in TV screen technology have made at-home viewing an increasingly attractive alternative.Meanwhile, AMC didn't offer its guests much in the way of an improved experience, and it kept boosting prices on tickets and concessions. For example, in Los Angeles, a movie ticket, a bucket of popcorn, and a soda could set you back by $36. So it's little wonder customers are shunning the multiplex in favor of a Netflix subscription. And now, not only must AMC contend with increasingly strong substitute entertainment options, it must deal with the fact that pandemic-related fears are still depressing box office numbers, too.For the first three quarters of 2021, AMC reported a net loss of $1.1 billion, an improvement from its loss of $3.6 billion during the same period of 2020. But unlike GameStop, which has a relatively clean balance sheet, AMC has $5.4 billion in long-term debt and only $1.6 billion in cash. As such, AMC does not have the same luxury of time that GameStop does. The verdictWhile both AMC and GameStop are risky investments with high stock prices and poor prospects, if you must choose one of them to buy, it should be GameStop. From 6/1/98 to 9/1/99, AMZN's shares split three times, with a 2-1 split on 9/1/99 being the last time AMZN's stock split.AMZNjust announced very bullish news, in my opinion, that current and future shareholders should be excited about. AMZN has announced a 20-1 stock split subject to shareholder approval on May 25thand replacing a previous share buyback program with a $10 billion buyback authorization. Many thought AMZN would have announced a split during the 2021 Q4 earnings call, especially since Alphabet(NASDAQ:GOOG)(GOOGL) announced that they would be splitting their stock. It's never too late, and shareholders just received a double dose of bullish news.

A stock split doesn't make the company more valuable but it is bullish

AMZNhas 508.8 million shares outstanding as of their last filing date. AMZN doesn't increase the value of its company by splitting their stock. Today shares closed at $2,785.58, placing their market cap at $1.42 trillion. If AMZN's 20-1 split was to occur tonight, there would be 10.18 billion shares outstanding trading for $139.8 per share, representing a $1.42 trillion market cap. This also isn't dilution as your shares would still represent the same percentage of equity in AMZN after the 20-1 split as they did prior to the split.

AMZN just announced the 20-1 split. AMZN's annual meeting will be held on May 25th, 2021, where the 20-1 split will be voted on. If the shareholder base votes yes and this motion passes, then shareholders of record at the close on May 27thwill be provided with 19 additional shares. If you own 1 share of AMZN, you will now have 20 shares, and if you own 10 shares, you will now have 200 shares. This will occur on or around June 3rd,and split-adjusted trading is expected to occur on June 6th.

There are different viewpoints on stock splits. Some people refer to Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A)(NYSE:BRK.B)as an example of a stock that has never split and is now trading at $488,245 per share. The argument is that the market cap doesn't change during a stock split, and if a company is going to increase in price, it will just continue to increase. I can't argue this point because it's correct. If I have a large pizza with 8 slices and cut them into halves, I now have 16 slices, but it's the amount of pizza doesn't change.

marketbusinessnews.com

I love stock splits and wish companies would split their shares more frequently. If you look back at the 1990's, it was the golden era of stock splits.AMZNsplit its shares 3 times,Intel Corp(INTC) split its shares 4 times in the 90s and once again in 2000,Cisco Systems(CSCO) split their shares 5 times in the 90s and again in 2000, andMicrosoft(MSFT) split their shares 4 times in the 90s.

There are several reasons why stock splits are welcomed by shareholders and looked at favorably even though the initial value of the companies doesn't change. Normally when a board of directors declares a stock split, it's taken as a vote of confidence that its companies share value will continue to increase, which is a bullish indication. AMZN's share price has reached a level where many investors can't buy shares as $3,000 for a single share is out of many investor's price ranges. Too many people look at the share price and not at percentages. A 50% gain is a 50% gain it doesn't matter if a stock is $30 and goes to $45 or $3,000 and it goes to $4,500. More people would be inclined to purchase 100 shares of a $30 stock because they can acquire more shares instead of buying 1 share of a $3,000 stock. By AMZN splitting its shares 20-1 it makes its shares attractive to retail investors and new investors. With a $140 price tag, volume will increase, which will also increase AMZN's liquidity in the market as more shares are being traded. Stock splits can also indicate a positive signal to rating agencies which could positively impact the share price.

I believe companies should split their shares, and Apple(NASDAQ:AAPL)is a perfect example. By AAPL continuously splitting its shares, it's made the stock affordable, and buying multiple shares of AAPL instead of 1 share of AMZN may have been more attractive to investors. I own shares in both companies, but from a value proposition, I like that AAPL continues to split its shares and, since 2014, has done a 7-1 split and a 4-1 split. By keeping the share price affordable, investors are able to gain single stock exposure to their favorite companies instead of only owning them through an index or total market fund. I also believe that when stocks are affordable, they will see increased volumes, which will ultimately help price appreciation in the future. TodayAMZNhad 4.13 million shares traded while AAPL had 91.45 million shares traded. I think the split will have long-term positive effects on AMZN's share price, and I am in favor of making shares affordable for the retail investor.

Amazon replacing its current buyback program with a larger buyback authorization is bullish for shareholders

As much as I love my dividends, buybacks are the best way for companies to reward their shareholders. In 2016 AMZN put a $5 billion share buyback program in place and had purchased $2.12 billion of shares from this allotment. The board has now authorized a repurchase of up to $10 billion and will elect to purchase shares opportunistically. Buybacks are great for two reasons. First, they increase your equity position, and second, they increase how much revenue and earnings per share your shares represent.

If you own 10 shares of a company that has 100 shares, you're a 10% owner. If the company buys back 20 shares, there are now 80 shares outstanding. You're 10 shares now represent 12.5% of the equity in the company. Buybacks are extremely bullish because they make your shares more valuable as you own more equity in the company and your shares carry more weight when it comes to voting. From a financial metrics perspective, if the company was generating $500 in sales and $200 in earnings, your shares prior to the buyback would have accounted for $5 of revenue per share and $2 of earnings per share. After the buyback, since there are 80 shares instead of 100, each share would account for $6.25 in revenue per share and $2.50 in earnings per share. Buybacks can help companies manufacture earnings to a degree because, in addition to growing their corporate earnings organically, buybacks can add an additional boost and help widen the margin of an earnings beat.

Buybacks are also the most significant bullish indicator in my opinion, because it's a sign that the company believes shares are undervalued and represent a good investment. Corporations have several options when they look at allocating free cash flow (FCF). FCF can be used to pay down debt, make acquisitions, pay a dividend, or buy back shares. This is a signal that AMZN feels this $10 billion would be better invested in buying back shares than paying down its debt, allocating it toward an acquisition, or making a strategic investment. AMZN's management clearly sees value in its shares.

Amazon

Regardless of Amazon's stock split and buyback I still believe it's a great investment as Amazon will probably be the first trillion-dollar revenue company

AMZN operates in two of the quickest growing sectors, Cloud infrastructure services, and e-Commerce. While these sectors aren't new, their future growth has a long runway ahead of them. For the first time worldwide, cloud infrastructure services expendituresexceeded $50 billionin a single quarter in Q4 of 2021. The new spending record in Q4 2021 reached $53.5 billion, growing YoY by $13.6 billion (34%). In 2021, the total cloud infrastructure services spend increased by $49.7 billion to $191.7 billion globally. While Q4 set records and grew 34% YoY, cloud infrastructure services expenditures grew 35% YoY. The globalcloud computing marketis expected to reach USD 1,554.94 billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of 15.7%, according to a new study conducted by Grand View Research, Inc. In Q4 2021, AMZN's AWS captured 33% of the global cloud infrastructure spend.

Canalys

Over the past 4 fiscal years, AWS has grown by 256.3%, adding $44.74 billion in revenue to this business segment. In 2018 AWS generated an additional $8.24 billion in revenue and grew at a 47.2% YoY rate. AWS is still growing at large multiples three years later as AMZN delivered $23.39 billion in additional revenue at a 37.01% growth rate YoY. AWS has the potential to become a $100 billion business segment in 2024 if it just grows at a 20% YoY growth rate. Over the next 8 years, the worldwide cloud infrastructure spend is expected to increase to $1.55 trillion. AMZN currently has 33% of this market. If AMZN can maintain 20% of the market during its expansion AWS would be a $310.99 billion revenue segment in 2030. If AWS maintains its 33% market penetration, it will become a $513.13 billion revenue segment which would be $43.31 billion more revenue than the entire company generated in 2021.

In 2022,e-commerceis expected to break the 20% barrier of total retail sales for the first time. In 2024, e-commerce is expected to only generate 22.5% of total retail sales. Over the next 4 years, e-commerce is expected to grow by $2.35 trillion or 49.67%. In 2022, e-commerce is projected to grow by $604 billion or 12.23%, then by $609 billion in 2023 (10.99%), $616 billion (10.1%) in 2024 and by another $624 billion (9.22%) in 2025. It's not just e-commerce that will grow. Retail sales, in general, will grow from $26.03 trillion to $31.27 trillion over the next 4 years as well. In 2021AMZN'sNorth American sales revenue increased by $43.53 billion YoY as it generated $279.83 billion. Internationally, AMZN's revenue grew $23.39 billion as it generated $127.79 billion.

Amazon

insiderintelligence.com

By 2025 e-commerce sales are expected to increase by $2.35 trillion or 49.67%. AMZN continues to see increased growth YoY, and this isn't projected to stop. If AMZN can grab 10% of the growth, it would be an additional $235 billion of annual revenue. The scary part is that e-commerce isn't expected to break 1/4thof total retail sales in 2025, which leaves much organic growth well into the future.

Conclusion

AMZN dominates two of the fastest-growing sectors and is projected to continue its future growth. I see a path to AMZN becoming the first trillion-dollar revenue company. The news about AMZN's share split of 20-1 and $10 billion buyback makes me even more bullish than I was after Q4 2021 earnings. It's never too late, and shareholders just received a double dose of bullish news.A stock split doesn't make the company more valuable but it is bullishAMZNhas 508.8 million shares outstanding as of their last filing date. This also isn't dilution as your shares would still represent the same percentage of equity in AMZN after the 20-1 split as they did prior to the split.AMZN just announced the 20-1 split. This will occur on or around June 3rd,and split-adjusted trading is expected to occur on June 6th.There are different viewpoints on stock splits. If I have a large pizza with 8 slices and cut them into halves, I now have 16 slices, but it's the amount of pizza doesn't change.marketbusinessnews.comI love stock splits and wish companies would split their shares more frequently. If you look back at the 1990's, it was the golden era of stock splits.AMZNsplit its shares 3 times,Intel Corp(INTC) split its shares 4 times in the 90s and once again in 2000,Cisco Systems(CSCO) split their shares 5 times in the 90s and again in 2000, andMicrosoft(MSFT) split their shares 4 times in the 90s.There are several reasons why stock splits are welcomed by shareholders and looked at favorably even though the initial value of the companies doesn't change. Stock splits can also indicate a positive signal to rating agencies which could positively impact the share price.I believe companies should split their shares, and Apple(NASDAQ:AAPL)is a perfect example. I think the split will have long-term positive effects on AMZN's share price, and I am in favor of making shares affordable for the retail investor.Amazon replacing its current buyback program with a larger buyback authorization is bullish for shareholdersAs much as I love my dividends, buybacks are the best way for companies to reward their shareholders. Buybacks can help companies manufacture earnings to a degree because, in addition to growing their corporate earnings organically, buybacks can add an additional boost and help widen the margin of an earnings beat.Buybacks are also the most significant bullish indicator in my opinion, because it's a sign that the company believes shares are undervalued and represent a good investment. AMZN's management clearly sees value in its shares.AmazonRegardless of Amazon's stock split and buyback I still believe it's a great investment as Amazon will probably be the first trillion-dollar revenue companyAMZN operates in two of the quickest growing sectors, Cloud infrastructure services, and e-Commerce. In Q4 2021, AMZN's AWS captured 33% of the global cloud infrastructure spend.CanalysOver the past 4 fiscal years, AWS has grown by 256.3%, adding $44.74 billion in revenue to this business segment. If AWS maintains its 33% market penetration, it will become a $513.13 billion revenue segment which would be $43.31 billion more revenue than the entire company generated in 2021.In 2022,e-commerceis expected to break the 20% barrier of total retail sales for the first time. Internationally, AMZN's revenue grew $23.39 billion as it generated $127.79 billion.Amazoninsiderintelligence.comBy 2025 e-commerce sales are expected to increase by $2.35 trillion or 49.67%. AMZN continues to see increased growth YoY, and this isn't projected to stop. If AMZN can grab 10% of the growth, it would be an additional $235 billion of annual revenue. The scary part is that e-commerce isn't expected to break 1/4thof total retail sales in 2025, which leaves much organic growth well into the future.ConclusionAMZN dominates two of the fastest-growing sectors and is projected to continue its future growth. I see a path to AMZN becoming the first trillion-dollar revenue company. The news about AMZN's share split of 20-1 and $10 billion buyback makes me even more bullish than I was after Q4 2021 earnings. Splitting the shares will make shares more attractive for retail investors, increase volumes and add liquidity to shares of AMZN. The buyback signals bullishness from management as they see value in the current levels at which AMZN trades. As a shareholder, I am excited about the news and believe that this may be the firepower needed to have AMZN breakout sometime in 2022 out of its consolidating phase.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":362,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9006291424,"gmtCreate":1641743340485,"gmtModify":1676533644178,"author":{"id":"4092749392657430","authorId":"4092749392657430","name":"kiasu","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c5b330f41570d56bc03dec4b28f3ae0d","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4092749392657430","authorIdStr":"4092749392657430"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"RALLY!","listText":"RALLY!","text":"RALLY!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9006291424","repostId":"1198290127","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":439,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9093619617,"gmtCreate":1643605689138,"gmtModify":1676533835633,"author":{"id":"4092749392657430","authorId":"4092749392657430","name":"kiasu","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c5b330f41570d56bc03dec4b28f3ae0d","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4092749392657430","authorIdStr":"4092749392657430"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice insight","listText":"Nice insight","text":"Nice insight","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9093619617","repostId":"1166737119","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":795,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9069977120,"gmtCreate":1651228684339,"gmtModify":1676534874270,"author":{"id":"4092749392657430","authorId":"4092749392657430","name":"kiasu","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c5b330f41570d56bc03dec4b28f3ae0d","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4092749392657430","authorIdStr":"4092749392657430"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Thanks","listText":"Thanks","text":"Thanks","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9069977120","repostId":"1165235688","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":312,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9006032905,"gmtCreate":1641548546536,"gmtModify":1676533628033,"author":{"id":"4092749392657430","authorId":"4092749392657430","name":"kiasu","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c5b330f41570d56bc03dec4b28f3ae0d","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4092749392657430","authorIdStr":"4092749392657430"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Memes go burr","listText":"Memes go burr","text":"Memes go burr","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9006032905","repostId":"1139066323","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1139066323","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1641546224,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1139066323?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-07 17:03","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Meme Stocks Rallied in Premarket Trading, with Gamestop Rising Nearly 20% and AMC Rising Over 8%","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1139066323","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Meme stocks rallied in premarket trading, with Gamestop rising nearly 20% and AMC rising over 8%.Gam","content":"

Meme stocks rallied in premarket trading, with Gamestop rising nearly 20% and AMC rising over 8%.

GameStop is developing an online hub for buying, selling and trading NFTs of virtual videogame goods such as avatar outfits and weapons.

GameStopCorp. is launching a division to develop a marketplace for nonfungible tokens and establish cryptocurrency partnerships, according to people familiar with its plans, pushing the company into much-hyped areas as it tries to turn around its core videogame business.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html;
