These stocks typically provide very high yields, often in the high single- to low double-digit range.

Of course, high yields often come with high risk, so investors need to identify high-quality MLPs that are likely to continue to at least maintain, if not raise, their distribution.

Three of our top high-yield MLPs that we believe will continue to pay high yields to shareholders include:

Enterprise Products Partners(NYSE:EPD)

KNOT Offshore Partners(NYSE:KNOP)

Magellan Midstream Partners(NYSE:MMP)

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD)

Our first name for consideration is Enterprise Products Partners, one of the largest MLPs in the industry. The $54.5 billion partnership generates annual revenue of close to $41 billion.

Enterprise Products Partners stores and transports oil and gas through its massive pipeline system. In total, the partnership has nearly 50,000 miles of pipeline that transport natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, and refined products. Enterprise Products Partners has storage facilities that can hold more than 250 million barrels.

The partnership’s extensive network of pipeline grants it a diversity of asset and geographic reach. Enterprise Products Partners is also able to pivot its pipeline system to move whatever energy product it wishes. This gives Enterprise Products Partners an asset base that few other in the industry can match. It would be cost prohibitive and maybe even politically impossible for another partnership to try to replicate what the partnership has created.

Enterprise Products Partners’ collects fees on the materials that it transports and stores, making the partnership a toll road for those wishing to move energy products. This helps to insulate the business from the ups and downs of the energy price cycle.

Enterprise Products Partners is also well positioned to take advantage of the growing demand for liquefied natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. The partnership has a number of terminals that will aid the business as the U.S. exports grow in size over the next few years.

A credit rating of BBB+ and Baa1 from Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s, respectively, means that the partnership has a better balance sheet than the vast majority of MLPs.

The business is been very successful over the years, which has allowed Enterprise Products Partners to raise its dividend for 23 consecutive years. This includes a 3.3% increase for the February 11th, 2022 payment. Enterprise Products Partners differs from most other companies in that it often raises its dividend every quarter, except for 2021, where the dividend was held constant all four payments. Using the new annualized dividend, distributions have a CAGR of more than 4% over the last decade.

Shares yield 7.4%, more than five times the average yield of the S&P 500 Index. The dividend also looks to be in very sound ground, as Enterprise Products Partners has an average distributable cash flow per unit payout ratio of 57% over the last decade. Combining this reasonable payout ratio with a distribution coverage ratio of more than 1.6x, Enterprise Products Partners is poised to continue to raise its already generous dividend.

KNOT Offshore Partners (KNOP)

Our next pick of MLPs is KNOT Offshore Partners, which owns and operates shuttle tankers in the North Sea and Brazil. The partnership has a market capitalization of $525 million and revenue of $279 million last year.

Knutsen NYK Offshore tankers AS, which is the sponsor for the partnership, has the responsibility of finding, purchasing, and dropping down of ships to KNOT Offshore Partners. As a result, the business is extremely efficient and has just one employee, its CEO.

The partnership provides loading, transportation, and storage of crude oil under time charters and bareboat charters. Currently, there are seventeen shuttle tankers in service, most of which has long-term and fixed contracts that must be paid regardless of the price of energy. KNOT Offshore Partners’ shuttle tankers have an average age of just under 8 years, which means that the partnership could see several decades of use from its present fleet.

Due to its business model, KNOT Offshore Partners hasn’t seen the fluctuations in distributable cash flow per unit that many of its peers have experienced. This is due to its contractual agreements and its ability to see higher rental rates when the price of energy is higher. This pattern is likely to continue as the sponsor could drop down as many as three new shuttle tankers through the end of the year.

At the time of its most recent quarterly report, KNOT Offshore Partners had a utilization rate of 91.9%. This was below the prior year’s result, but this was due mostly to the timing of a charter contract and mechanical issues with another shuttle.

KNOT Offshore Partners has maintained the same quarterly distribution of $0.52 per share since the November 13th, 2015 payment. The expected coverage ratio for last year is just 1.2, lower than it has been in recent years. The expected distributable cash flow payout ratio is also higher than normal at 84% for 2021. Historically, the payout ratio has been near 70%. Therefore, we do not anticipate that the partnership will raise its dividend in the near future. The tradeoff to this lack of growth is that shareholders are receiving a 13.4% yield today.

Even with a high payout ratio and lack of dividend growth, we remain confident that KNOT Offshore Partners will be able to continue making its payments to shareholders. The business model has proven successful at navigating other difficult operating environments and will energy prices surging, KNOT Offshore Partners is expected continuing to see high demand for shuttle tankers.

Magellan Midstream Partners (MMP)

Our final pick among MLPs is Magellan Midstream Partners, which operates a vast pipeline network. The partnership is valued at $10.4 billion and has annual revenue of $2.8 billion.

Like Enterprise Products Partners, Magellan Midstream Partners operates one of the longest pipeline systems of refined products in the country. The partnership operates 9,800 miles of pipeline and 54 terminals used in the transportation of refined products. Two storage facilities can hold 18 million barrels of product as well. The partnership also has 2,200 miles of crude oil pipeline and can store 37 million barrels. Magellan Midstream Partners connects to nearly half of the refining capacity in the U.S., giving it a size and scale that few, if any, are able to compete with.

Given the breadth of Magellan Midstream Partners’ pipeline and storage network, the partnership is able to offer customers connection between refineries and gas stations and railroads throughout much of the country. As a result, Magellan Midstream Partners’ contracts often include inflation adjusted increases in fees, which is almost certainly benefiting the partnership given the rise in inflation.

Magellan Midstream Partners has a fee-based model. Less than 10% of operating income is sensitive to energy prices, helping to insulate the partnership against downturns in the market. This could limit some upside potential, but this business model offers some stability in an industry where stability is rare.

Magellan Midstream Partners had raised its dividend 70 consecutive quarters prior to freezing it due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The partnership last raised its dividend 1% for the November 12th, 2021 payment date. The payout ratio is expected to be 80% for 2021, in-line with the average of the last five years. Leadership also has a coverage ratio target of at least 1.2. Our expected coverage ratio for 2022 of 1.25 is ahead of this target. These stocks typically provide very high yields, often in the high single- to low double-digit range.Of course, high yields often come with high risk, so investors need to identify high-quality MLPs that are likely to continue to at least maintain, if not raise, their distribution.Three of our top high-yield MLPs that we believe will continue to pay high yields to shareholders include:Enterprise Products Partners(NYSE:EPD)KNOT Offshore Partners(NYSE:KNOP)Magellan Midstream Partners(NYSE:MMP)Enterprise Products Partners (EPD)Our first name for consideration is Enterprise Products Partners, one of the largest MLPs in the industry. The $54.5 billion partnership generates annual revenue of close to $41 billion.Enterprise Products Partners stores and transports oil and gas through its massive pipeline system. It would be cost prohibitive and maybe even politically impossible for another partnership to try to replicate what the partnership has created.Enterprise Products Partners’ collects fees on the materials that it transports and stores, making the partnership a toll road for those wishing to move energy products. This helps to insulate the business from the ups and downs of the energy price cycle.Enterprise Products Partners is also well positioned to take advantage of the growing demand for liquefied natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. The partnership has a number of terminals that will aid the business as the U.S. exports grow in size over the next few years.A credit rating of BBB+ and Baa1 from Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s, respectively, means that the partnership has a better balance sheet than the vast majority of MLPs.The business is been very successful over the years, which has allowed Enterprise Products Partners to raise its dividend for 23 consecutive years. This includes a 3.3% increase for the February 11th, 2022 payment. Enterprise Products Partners differs from most other companies in that it often raises its dividend every quarter, except for 2021, where the dividend was held constant all four payments. Using the new annualized dividend, distributions have a CAGR of more than 4% over the last decade.Shares yield 7.4%, more than five times the average yield of the S&P 500 Index. The dividend also looks to be in very sound ground, as Enterprise Products Partners has an average distributable cash flow per unit payout ratio of 57% over the last decade. Combining this reasonable payout ratio with a distribution coverage ratio of more than 1.6x, Enterprise Products Partners is poised to continue to raise its already generous dividend.KNOT Offshore Partners (KNOP)Our next pick of MLPs is KNOT Offshore Partners, which owns and operates shuttle tankers in the North Sea and Brazil. The partnership has a market capitalization of $525 million and revenue of $279 million last year.Knutsen NYK Offshore tankers AS, which is the sponsor for the partnership, has the responsibility of finding, purchasing, and dropping down of ships to KNOT Offshore Partners. As a result, the business is extremely efficient and has just one employee, its CEO.The partnership provides loading, transportation, and storage of crude oil under time charters and bareboat charters. Currently, there are seventeen shuttle tankers in service, most of which has long-term and fixed contracts that must be paid regardless of the price of energy. KNOT Offshore Partners’ shuttle tankers have an average age of just under 8 years, which means that the partnership could see several decades of use from its present fleet.Due to its business model, KNOT Offshore Partners hasn’t seen the fluctuations in distributable cash flow per unit that many of its peers have experienced. This is due to its contractual agreements and its ability to see higher rental rates when the price of energy is higher. This pattern is likely to continue as the sponsor could drop down as many as three new shuttle tankers through the end of the year.At the time of its most recent quarterly report, KNOT Offshore Partners had a utilization rate of 91.9%. This was below the prior year’s result, but this was due mostly to the timing of a charter contract and mechanical issues with another shuttle.KNOT Offshore Partners has maintained the same quarterly distribution of $0.52 per share since the November 13th, 2015 payment. The tradeoff to this lack of growth is that shareholders are receiving a 13.4% yield today.Even with a high payout ratio and lack of dividend growth, we remain confident that KNOT Offshore Partners will be able to continue making its payments to shareholders. The business model has proven successful at navigating other difficult operating environments and will energy prices surging, KNOT Offshore Partners is expected continuing to see high demand for shuttle tankers.Magellan Midstream Partners (MMP)Our final pick among MLPs is Magellan Midstream Partners, which operates a vast pipeline network. The partnership is valued at $10.4 billion and has annual revenue of $2.8 billion.Like Enterprise Products Partners, Magellan Midstream Partners operates one of the longest pipeline systems of refined products in the country. The partnership operates 9,800 miles of pipeline and 54 terminals used in the transportation of refined products. Two storage facilities can hold 18 million barrels of product as well. The partnership also has 2,200 miles of crude oil pipeline and can store 37 million barrels. Magellan Midstream Partners connects to nearly half of the refining capacity in the U.S., giving it a size and scale that few, if any, are able to compete with.Given the breadth of Magellan Midstream Partners’ pipeline and storage network, the partnership is able to offer customers connection between refineries and gas stations and railroads throughout much of the country. As a result, Magellan Midstream Partners’ contracts often include inflation adjusted increases in fees, which is almost certainly benefiting the partnership given the rise in inflation.Magellan Midstream Partners has a fee-based model. Less than 10% of operating income is sensitive to energy prices, helping to insulate the partnership against downturns in the market. This could limit some upside potential, but this business model offers some stability in an industry where stability is rare.Magellan Midstream Partners had raised its dividend 70 consecutive quarters prior to freezing it due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Shares of the partnership yield 8.5%.Final ThoughtsInvestors searching for sources of high yields that are secure don’t often have too many options to choose from. Enterprise Products Partners, KNOT Offshore Partners, and Magellan Midstream Partners are three names we believe can continue to offer investors generous yields that appear safe from a dividend cut. Each of these MLPs has competitive advantages that help separate it from the rest of the industry, leading to the generous yields that each offers. Each partnership also has sufficient coverage that a dividend cut does not appear to be imminent. This suggests that investors looking for safe and high yields consider adding Enterprise Products Partners, KNOT Offshore Partners, or Magellan Midstream Partners to their portfolio.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":340,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9998210268,"gmtCreate":1661002999056,"gmtModify":1676536437560,"author":{"id":"4093470092873140","authorId":"4093470092873140","name":"Kundos","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/ce1a3c71cbcd8d00d16dfeac879fe818","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093470092873140","authorIdStr":"4093470092873140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$MEDTECS INTERNATIONAL CORP LTD(546.SI)$[Sad] ","listText":"$MEDTECS INTERNATIONAL CORP LTD(546.SI)$[Sad] ","text":"$MEDTECS INTERNATIONAL CORP LTD(546.SI)$[Sad]","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/ccf2844bb64ea5649fd578e5fe9ddc80","width":"1080","height":"1920"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9998210268","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":414,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9018405227,"gmtCreate":1649074715966,"gmtModify":1676534445268,"author":{"id":"4093470092873140","authorId":"4093470092873140","name":"Kundos","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/ce1a3c71cbcd8d00d16dfeac879fe818","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093470092873140","authorIdStr":"4093470092873140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$UOB APAC Green REIT ETF(GRN.SI)$green","listText":"$UOB APAC Green REIT ETF(GRN.SI)$green","text":"$UOB APAC Green REIT ETF(GRN.SI)$green","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0d51a21db6e9c092ec18d163c5638c29","width":"800","height":"1422"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9018405227","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":341,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9006301108,"gmtCreate":1641601910212,"gmtModify":1676533633065,"author":{"id":"4093470092873140","authorId":"4093470092873140","name":"Kundos","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/ce1a3c71cbcd8d00d16dfeac879fe818","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093470092873140","authorIdStr":"4093470092873140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like","listText":"Like","text":"Like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9006301108","repostId":"2201424321","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2201424321","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1641597180,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2201424321?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-08 07:13","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Wall St posts declines for first week of 2022; Nasdaq has worst week since Feb","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2201424321","media":"Reuters","summary":"* U.S. nonfarm payrolls rise by 199,000 in December* GameStop jumps after report of foray into NFT, ","content":"

* U.S. nonfarm payrolls rise by 199,000 in December

* GameStop jumps after report of foray into NFT, crypto markets

* Indexes: Dow down 0.01%, S&P 500 down 0.4%, Nasdaq down 1%

NEW YORK Jan 7 (Reuters) - Wall Street on Friday wrapped up the first week of the new year with daily and weekly losses as investors worried about looming U.S. interest-rate hikes and unfolding Omicron news.

The Nasdaq posted its biggest weekly percentage fall since February 2021 and led declines for the day in the major indexes. Since taking the helm of Berkshire in 1965, he's created approximately $660 billion in value for shareholders (himself included) and has delivered a jaw-dropping 20.1% average annual return for his company's Class A shares (BRK.A).

Given how successful the Oracle of Omaha has been for more than a half-century, everyone from professional to everyday investors pays close attention to what he's buying and selling in Berkshire Hathaway's investment portfolio.

Buffett's portfolio is also a great place to start when you're looking for stock-buying ideas during a bear market pullback. Though Berkshire Hathaway holds around four dozen securities in its investment portfolio, three Warren Buffett stocks stand out as plain-as-day screaming buys in November.

Johnson & Johnson

The first Warren Buffett stock just begging to be bought as we near the home stretch of 2022 is healthcare juggernaut Johnson & Johnson, or J&J for short. Although J&J is contending with poor investor sentiment, it's a company that continues to fire on all cylinders.

Healthcare stocks are one of the smartest places to put your money to work during a bear market. No matter how poorly the U.S. economy performs or how negative investor sentiment turns, we don't have the ability to control when we get sick or what ailment(s) we develop. There will always be demand for prescription drugs, medical devices, and healthcare services, which means J&J is predominantly inflation-and-recession-proof.

Though a stronger U.S. dollar is hurting sales for multinational companies like Johnson & Johnson, a deeper dive reveals that everything is fine from an operating standpoint. Excluding currency movements, pharmaceutical and medical technology (MedTech) segment sales are respectively higher by 10.2% and 6.6% through the first nine months of 2022.

One of the primary reasons J&J has been able to deliver adjusted sales growth and earnings growth in the high single digits for such a long time is its diverse operating segments. For instance, the company has shifted its focus to higher-margin drug sales over the past decade. But since brand-name drugs have relatively short periods of sales exclusivity, the company can rely on its MedTech segment to pick up the slack when certain therapies are exposed to biosimilar or generic competition.

Another reason J&J is such a rock-solid investment is its capital-return program and balance sheet. Johnson & Johnson has raised its base annual dividend for 60 consecutive years, and is one of only two publicly traded companies that sports the highest credit rating (AAA) issued by Standard & Poor's, a division of S&P Global. J&J's credit rating is higher than that of the U.S. federal government.

At a time when investors are looking for safety and value, Johnson & Johnson's sub-17 forward price-to-earnings ratio and 2.6% dividend yield stand out like a beacon.

U.S. Bancorp

A second Warren Buffett stock that's a screaming buy in November is U.S. Bancorp (USB), the parent company of U.S. Bank. Despite recessionary fears weighing on cyclical sectors, such as financials, U.S. Bancorp is one of a handful of financial stocks positioned to thrive, even in a challenging economic environment.

One of the biggest tailwinds for bank stocks at the moment is Federal Reserve monetary policy. Normally, a weaker economy and/or plunging stock market would encourage the nation's central bank to ease interest rates or offer some form of quantitative easing measures. But with inflation hitting four-decade highs in June, the Fed has had no choice but to aggressively raise rates into a bear market.

Banks with outstanding variable-rate loans are benefiting via widening net interest margin and higher net interest income. In U.S. Bancorp's case, its net interest income jumped nearly 21% year over year in the August-ended quarter.

Another important factor working in U.S. Bancorp's favor is the fiscal prudence of its management team. During the financial crisis between 2007 and 2009, most money-center banks were clobbered by riskier derivative investments they'd made that ultimately backfired.

U.S. Bancorp largely avoided this mess thanks to its focus on what I call the bread and butter of banking: growing loans and deposits. While growing loans and deposits isn't necessarily an exciting operating model, it's a profitable one for U.S. Bancorp that's led to superior return on assets when compared to other big banks.

U.S. Bancorp is also setting the standard when it comes to digital engagement. By the end of August, 82% of the company's total active customers were banking online or via mobile app. Equally important, 62% of loan sales were completed digitally. For banks, digital sales cost a fraction of what in-person or phone-based interactions run. This sizable digital presence has allowed the company to consolidate some of its branches and minimize increases in noninterest expenses.

Investors have an opportunity to buy one of the best-run banks on the planet for less than 9 times forward earnings, and they'll receive a 4.5% annual dividend yield for their patience. That's a steal of a deal.

Amazon

The third Warren Buffett stock that's a screaming buy in November is FAANG stock Amazon (AMZN). Although the company's third-quarter operating results signaled some near-term struggles, Wall Street and investors seem to be overlooking the key performance indicators that matter most.

For most investors and consumers, Amazon's dominant online marketplace is what comes to mind when the "Amazon" name is brought up. This year, Amazon should account for more U.S. online retail sales revenue than its next 14-closest competitors, combined. However, retail demand is slowing as high inflation bites into the pocketbooks of low-earning workers, which is why the company's fourth-quarter sales forecast badly missed the mark.

But even though Amazon's online marketplace is its top revenue producer, it's not a particularly important segment when it comes to operating cash flow. Online retail sales margins are usually very low. Rather, it's the company's higher-margin trio of Amazon Web Services (AWS), advertising services, and subscription services that are key to operating cash flow growth.

Cloud infrastructure segment AWS commands nearly a third of global cloud-service spending, according to Canalys. Cloud growth is still in its early stages, and the high margins associated with the cloud lead to significant operating income for Amazon. Through the first nine months of 2022, AWS has accounted for 16% of the company's net sales, as well as all of its operating income (since the retail segments have produced operating losses).

Likewise, subscription services (e.g., Prime) and advertising services are growing by double-digit percentages. Excluding currency movements, subscription service and advertising service sales grew by 14% and 30%, respectively, in the recently ended quarter. The segments that really matter to Amazon's cash flow are doing just fine.

That brings me to the final point: Amazon's cash flow. Though earnings per share is a common tool used by investors to value publicly traded companies, it works poorly with Amazon, given that the company reinvests most of its operating cash flow back into the business. During the 2010s, investors willingly paid a median end-year multiple of 30 times cash flow to own Amazon stock. Since taking the helm of Berkshire in 1965, he's created approximately $660 billion in value for shareholders (himself included) and has delivered a jaw-dropping 20.1% average annual return for his company's Class A shares (BRK.A).Given how successful the Oracle of Omaha has been for more than a half-century, everyone from professional to everyday investors pays close attention to what he's buying and selling in Berkshire Hathaway's investment portfolio.Buffett's portfolio is also a great place to start when you're looking for stock-buying ideas during a bear market pullback. Though Berkshire Hathaway holds around four dozen securities in its investment portfolio, three Warren Buffett stocks stand out as plain-as-day screaming buys in November.Johnson & JohnsonThe first Warren Buffett stock just begging to be bought as we near the home stretch of 2022 is healthcare juggernaut Johnson & Johnson, or J&J for short. Although J&J is contending with poor investor sentiment, it's a company that continues to fire on all cylinders.Healthcare stocks are one of the smartest places to put your money to work during a bear market. No matter how poorly the U.S. economy performs or how negative investor sentiment turns, we don't have the ability to control when we get sick or what ailment(s) we develop. There will always be demand for prescription drugs, medical devices, and healthcare services, which means J&J is predominantly inflation-and-recession-proof.Though a stronger U.S. dollar is hurting sales for multinational companies like Johnson & Johnson, a deeper dive reveals that everything is fine from an operating standpoint. Excluding currency movements, pharmaceutical and medical technology (MedTech) segment sales are respectively higher by 10.2% and 6.6% through the first nine months of 2022.One of the primary reasons J&J has been able to deliver adjusted sales growth and earnings growth in the high single digits for such a long time is its diverse operating segments. For instance, the company has shifted its focus to higher-margin drug sales over the past decade. But since brand-name drugs have relatively short periods of sales exclusivity, the company can rely on its MedTech segment to pick up the slack when certain therapies are exposed to biosimilar or generic competition.Another reason J&J is such a rock-solid investment is its capital-return program and balance sheet. At a time when investors are looking for safety and value, Johnson & Johnson's sub-17 forward price-to-earnings ratio and 2.6% dividend yield stand out like a beacon.U.S. BancorpA second Warren Buffett stock that's a screaming buy in November is U.S. But with inflation hitting four-decade highs in June, the Fed has had no choice but to aggressively raise rates into a bear market.Banks with outstanding variable-rate loans are benefiting via widening net interest margin and higher net interest income. In U.S. Bancorp's case, its net interest income jumped nearly 21% year over year in the August-ended quarter.Another important factor working in U.S. Bancorp's favor is the fiscal prudence of its management team. During the financial crisis between 2007 and 2009, most money-center banks were clobbered by riskier derivative investments they'd made that ultimately backfired.U.S. Bancorp largely avoided this mess thanks to its focus on what I call the bread and butter of banking: growing loans and deposits. While growing loans and deposits isn't necessarily an exciting operating model, it's a profitable one for U.S. Bancorp that's led to superior return on assets when compared to other big banks.U.S. This sizable digital presence has allowed the company to consolidate some of its branches and minimize increases in noninterest expenses.Investors have an opportunity to buy one of the best-run banks on the planet for less than 9 times forward earnings, and they'll receive a 4.5% annual dividend yield for their patience. That's a steal of a deal.AmazonThe third Warren Buffett stock that's a screaming buy in November is FAANG stock Amazon (AMZN). Although the company's third-quarter operating results signaled some near-term struggles, Wall Street and investors seem to be overlooking the key performance indicators that matter most. For most investors and consumers, Amazon's dominant online marketplace is what comes to mind when the \"Amazon\" name is brought up. Rather, it's the company's higher-margin trio of Amazon Web Services (AWS), advertising services, and subscription services that are key to operating cash flow growth.Cloud infrastructure segment AWS commands nearly a third of global cloud-service spending, according to Canalys. Cloud growth is still in its early stages, and the high margins associated with the cloud lead to significant operating income for Amazon. Through the first nine months of 2022, AWS has accounted for 16% of the company's net sales, as well as all of its operating income (since the retail segments have produced operating losses).Likewise, subscription services (e.g., Prime) and advertising services are growing by double-digit percentages. You can buy shares today for about 9 times Wall Street's forecast cash flow for the company in 2025. That's incredibly cheap for a winner like Amazon.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":104,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9935510028,"gmtCreate":1663113752164,"gmtModify":1676537205048,"author":{"id":"4093470092873140","authorId":"4093470092873140","name":"Kundos","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/ce1a3c71cbcd8d00d16dfeac879fe818","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093470092873140","authorIdStr":"4093470092873140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9935510028","repostId":"2267503275","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2267503275","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1663100861,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2267503275?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-09-14 04:27","market":"us","language":"en","title":"US STOCKS-Wall St Tumbles to Biggest Loss in Two Years Following CPI Data","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2267503275","media":"Reuters","summary":"U.S. consumer prices rise unexpectedlyLikelihood grows of a 100 bp Fed rate hike in SeptIndexes slid","content":"

U.S. consumer prices rise unexpectedly

Likelihood grows of a 100 bp Fed rate hike in Sept

Indexes slide: Dow 3.94%, S&P 4.32%, Nasdaq 5.16%

(Reuters) - A broad sell-off sent U.S. stocks reeling on Tuesday after a hotter-than-expected inflation report dashed hopes that the Federal Reserve could relent and scale back its policy tightening in the coming months.

All three major U.S. stock indexes veered sharply lower, snapping four-day winning streaks and notching their biggest one-day percentage drops since June 2020 during the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Surging risk-off sentiment pulled every major sector deep into negative territory, with interest-rate-sensitive tech and tech-adjacent market leaders, led by Apple Inc, Microsoft Corp and Amazon.com Inc weighing heaviest.

"(The sell-off) is not a surprise given the rally running up to the data," said Paul Nolte, portfolio manager at Kingsview Asset Management in Chicago.

The Labor Department's consumer price index (CPI) came in above consensus, interrupting a cooling trend and throwing cold water on hopes that the Federal Reserve could relent after September and ease up on its interest rate hikes.

Core CPI, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, increased more than expected, rising to 6.3% from 5.9% in July.

The report points to "very persistent inflation and that means the Fed is going to remain engaged and raise rates," Nolte added.
