A new report shows Semi deliveries could be just around the corner.

What Happened:A Frito-Lay facility in Modesto, California received Tesla Megachargers recently and is set to receive deliveries of Tesla Semis.

The PepsiCo, Inc. facility could receive Tesla Semis later this month, according to a report from Drive Tesla. Photos show Megachargers ready for installation and some in packaging. A Megapack battery storage system is also installed at the facility.

“After receiving these photos we were able to confirm with one of our sources that PepsiCo has been told to expect to receive all 15 Tesla Semis before the end of January,”Drive Tesla said.

PepsiCo announced in a press release in March 2021 they would take delivery of 15 Tesla Semis before the end of 2021.

Tesla announced it was delaying the Tesla Semi during the second-quarter earnings release in 2021. Tesla CEO Elon Musk cited limited battery supply as one of the reasons for the Tesla Semi delay.

Despite the announced delays, PepsiCo CEO Ramon Laguarta shared in a CNBC interview in November 2021 that the company would be receiving Tesla Semis soon.

“We are getting our first deliveries this Q4,” Laguarta said.

Why It’s Important:The comments from Laguarta suggested that Pepsi could have a different timeline than other companies or have preferred status from Tesla.

The purchase of Tesla Semis is one of several planned initiatives by PepsiCo to reduce its carbon emissions in the future, Laguarta added.

Pepsi is one of several large companies that have pledged to order Tesla Semis in the future. The Treasury Department sells securities that mature in a range from a few days to 30 years, providing a lot of plots on the curve to follow.“The focus has been on the 10s and 2s,” said Mark Heppenstall, chief investment officer at Penn Mutual Asset Management, in Horsham, Penn, a northern suburb of Philadelphia.“I will hold out until the 10s to 3-month bills inverts before I turn too negative on the economic outlook,” he said, calling it “the best leading indicator of trouble ahead.”Watch 10-year, 3-monthInstead of falling, that spread climbed in March, continuing its path higher since turning negative two years ago at the onset of the pandemic (see chart).The 3-month to 10-year yield spread is climbing Bloomberg data, Goelzer Investment Management“The 3-month Treasury bill really tracks the Federal Reserve’s target rate,” said Gavin Stephens, director of portfolio management at Goelzer Investment Management in Indiana, by phone.“So it gives you a more immediate picture of if the Federal Reserve has entered a restrictive state in terms of monetary policy and, thus, giving the possibility that economic growth is going to contract, which would be bad for stocks.”Stocks were lower Friday, but with the S&P 500 index SPX, +0.51% and the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, -0.16% still up about 1.2% on the week. The three major indexes were 4.5% to 10.1% lower so far in 2022, according to FactSet.By watching the 10s and 2s TMUBMUSD02Y, 2.280% spread, “You are looking at the expectations of where Fed Reserve interest rate policy is going to be over a period of two years,” Stephens said. “So, effectively, it’s working with a lag.”On average, from the time the 10s and 2s curve inverts, until “there’s a recession, it’s almost two years,” he said, predicting that with unemployment recently pegged around 3.8% that, “this curve is going to invert when the economy is really strong.”The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco also called the 3-month TMUBMUSD03M, 0.535% and 10-year curve relationship its “preferred spread measure because it has the strongest predictive power for future recessions,” such as in 2019, back when the yield curve was more regularly flashing recession warning signs.“Did it see COVID coming?” Duffy said, of earlier yield curve inversions.A more likely catalyst was that investors already were on a recession watch, with the American economy in its longest expansion period on record.“There are a number of these curves that you need to look at in totality,” Duffy said. “We’ve always said look at many signals.”","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":66,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9035012755,"gmtCreate":1647473367106,"gmtModify":1676534233563,"author":{"id":"4093776633978450","authorId":"4093776633978450","name":"Skrain","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/760760fda87db7b00180cdc5a0f4d60b","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093776633978450","authorIdStr":"4093776633978450"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9035012755","repostId":"2220796435","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":210,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9031687822,"gmtCreate":1646542960382,"gmtModify":1676534138377,"author":{"id":"4093776633978450","authorId":"4093776633978450","name":"Skrain","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/760760fda87db7b00180cdc5a0f4d60b","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093776633978450","authorIdStr":"4093776633978450"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":9,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9031687822","repostId":"1136361690","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1136361690","pubTimestamp":1646442354,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1136361690?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-05 09:05","market":"us","language":"en","title":"7 Earnings Reports to Watch the Week of March 7","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1136361690","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"We’ll get an idea when San Diego-based Petco reports its fourth-quarter results on Mar. 7.The company has set a high bar for itself to jump, having increased its sales growth from 1% before the pandemic to 27% at the end of 2020. The company’s most recent misstep was announcing a $12,000 price increase on its electric pick-up trucks and SUVs that had already been ordered by consumers.Rivian was forced to cancel the planned price increase after a swift backlash from consumers and the media. The company said it planned to raise the prices on about 70,000 preorders it received to help offset the inflationary increases it is seeing with the parts and components it needs to build its electric vehicles. However, consumers were having none of it.Hopefully, Rivian can right its ship when it reports its Q4 results. Analysts are looking for the company to report negative EPS of -$1.72 on revenue of $60 million.Earnings Reports Next Week: DocuSign (DOCU)DOCU stock was one of the main beneficiaries of the pandemic lockdowns, with its share price rising over 250% to an all-time high of just under $315 a share. The company’s stock has also been one of the most impacted by the reopening trade. In the last six months, DocuSign’s share price has declined 67% to now trade at $102.67. The San Francisco-based company that specializes in the management of electronic documents and signatures has been pulled down along with other richly valued tech stocks tied to the pandemic.Some analysts say the selloff has been overdone and point to the fact that DocuSign is now a global leader in the e-signature sector with specialized software products and improving margins.The company’s operating margins are forecast to come in at about 18% in the fourth quarter of 2021, up from 8% at the end of 2020. For the entire fourth quarter, DocuSign is forecast to report EPS of $0.47 on revenues of $561.47 million. Wall Street will be looking for signs that DocuSign can sustain its growth long-term once the pandemic is behind us for good.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":47,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9098544725,"gmtCreate":1644194132333,"gmtModify":1676533897797,"author":{"id":"4093776633978450","authorId":"4093776633978450","name":"Skrain","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/760760fda87db7b00180cdc5a0f4d60b","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093776633978450","authorIdStr":"4093776633978450"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9098544725","repostId":"1139709004","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1139709004","pubTimestamp":1644208274,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1139709004?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-07 12:31","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Disney, Uber, Pfizer, Twitter, Coca-Cola, and Other Stocks for Investors to Watch This Week","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1139709004","media":"Barrons","summary":"We’re past the peak of fourth-quarter earnings season, but still with many notable companies left to","content":"

We’re past the peak of fourth-quarter earnings season, but still with many notable companies left to report. The index is, by far, the best performer in 2022, up 23.2%, as U.S. crude hovers near a seven-year high.Those strong energy prices helped Exxon Mobil Corp to post its biggest quarterly profit in seven years on Tuesday. Its stock jumped 6.4% as a result, to close above the $80-per-share mark for the first time since April 2019.As of Tuesday, 184 S&P 500 companies posted quarterly results, of which 78.8% reported earnings above analyst expectations, according to Refinitiv.Google parent Alphabet Inc rose 1.7% ahead of quarterly results published after the bell. Amazon Inc and Meta Platforms Inc are also on deck later this week.Of those which reported earlier on Tuesday, United Parcel Service Inc jumped 14.1% - its biggest one-day gain in 18 months - after projecting 2022 revenue above market expectations.AT&T Inc dropped 4.2% after saying it will spin off WarnerMedia in a $43 billion transaction to merge its media properties with Discovery Inc and also cut its dividend by nearly half.Volume on U.S. exchanges was 11.71 billion shares, compared with the 12.45 billion average for the full session over the last 20 trading days.The S&P 500 posted 18 new 52-week highs and one new low; the Nasdaq Composite recorded 43 new highs and 18 new lows.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":138,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9086386890,"gmtCreate":1650415474148,"gmtModify":1676534718419,"author":{"id":"4093776633978450","authorId":"4093776633978450","name":"Skrain","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/760760fda87db7b00180cdc5a0f4d60b","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093776633978450","authorIdStr":"4093776633978450"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9086386890","repostId":"2228911690","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2228911690","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Dow Jones publishes the world’s most trusted business news and financial information in a variety of media.","home_visible":0,"media_name":"Dow Jones","id":"106","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/150f88aa4d182df19190059f4a365e99"},"pubTimestamp":1650409611,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2228911690?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-20 07:06","market":"hk","language":"en","title":"Netflix Shares Fell 25%, Losing Subscribers Amid Growing Competition, Account Sharing","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2228911690","media":"Dow Jones","summary":"Netflix Inc. lost subscribers globally in the first quarter and expects to lose even more this sprin","content":"

Netflix Inc. lost subscribers globally in the first quarter and expects to lose even more this spring, as the streaming giant grapples with stiffer competition from rival services and rampant account sharing among its customers.

The company ended the first quarter with 200,000 fewer subscribers than it had in the fourth, missing on its own projection of adding 2.5 million customers in the period. Netflix estimated that besides its almost 222 million paying households, the service is being shared with an additional 100 million homes including 30 million in the U.S. and Canada.

In its letter to investors, Netflix said it is testing password-sharing subscription models that it believes will allow it to monetize sharing and build revenue. The company said the portion of its members who share accounts hasn't changed much over the years, but as its overall subscriber base continues to expand, account sharing is hampering future growth in many markets.

The streaming giant said revenue growth has slowed considerably after years of 20%-plus gains. Revenue in the first quarter rose roughly 10% to $7.87 billion, below analysts' projections of $7.93 billion.

Netflix also warned that gains made during the Covid-19 pandemic hid the fault lines that have emerged in its business over the past few years. In the U.S. and Canada, the company lost 600,000 subscribers, which it attributed to its recent price increase.The company said it had grown in Japan, India, the Philippines, Thailand and Taiwan.\"Over the longer term, much of our growth will come from outside the U.S.,\" Netflix said.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":104,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9090430994,"gmtCreate":1643242348253,"gmtModify":1676533789077,"author":{"id":"4093776633978450","authorId":"4093776633978450","name":"Skrain","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/760760fda87db7b00180cdc5a0f4d60b","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4093776633978450","authorIdStr":"4093776633978450"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":8,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9090430994","repostId":"2206589977","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2206589977","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1643238051,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2206589977?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-27 07:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Wall Street Gains Evaporate, S&P 500 Ends Lower on Fed Tightening Timeline","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2206589977","media":"Reuters","summary":"* Tesla gyrates in after-market trading after results* Markets gyrate in closing minutes after Powel","content":"

* Tesla gyrates in after-market trading after results

* Markets gyrate in closing minutes after Powell Q&A

* Mattel up on winning back Disney Princess license from Hasbro

* Indexes: Dow off 0.38%, S&P down 0.15%, Nasdaq up 0.02%

NEW YORK, Jan 26 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 ended lower on Wednesday, taking an abrupt nosedive that reversed earlier solid gains after the U.S. Federal Reserve released its statement at the conclusion of its two-day policy meeting.

All three major U.S. stock indexes gyrated wildly in the final minutes of a session that ended with the Dow joining the S&P in negative territory and the Nasdaq eking out a nominal gain.

The indexes enjoyed a brief surge after the Federal Open Markets Committee left key interest rates near zero. Higher yields more steeply discount the value of future profits, which can especially pressure growth stocks.

"Given the performance of these tech names here recently, will earnings be a savior for them?" said Walter Todd, chief investment officer at Greenwood Capital. "Over the next month, seeing how some of these tech names respond to their numbers ... will be interesting."

Fourth-quarter results season kicks into high gear this week, with overall S&P 500 earnings expected to climb 23.1%, according to Refinitiv IBES. The cryptocurrency exchanges shares slid 2.2%.\nSalesforce.com Inc dipped 1.2% as rival Freshworks Inc’s regulatory filing indicated that the business engagement and customer engagement software company is aiming for a nearly $9 billion valuation in it U.S. debut.\nAdvancing issues outnumbered declining ones on the NYSE by a 1.60-to-1 ratio; on Nasdaq, a 1.02-to-1 ratio favored advancers.\nThe S&P 500 posted 12 new 52-week highs and one new low; the Nasdaq Composite recorded 53 new highs and 71 new lows.\nVolume on U.S. exchanges was 10.30 billion shares, compared with the 9.29 billion average over the last 20 trading days.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":53,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
