$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ bought a very small holding in Dec 2022 at $116, to try my hand in "trading" it soon fell to $108 but rebound strong hitting $299 for a time. I sort of greedy thinking of holding for long n in the end holding for 1.5yrs till i recently sell at $237. I do believe Tesla will close at $250 till next quarterly results at least. Good luck to everyone, also thanks to Mr Musk for the recent price rise! Had a gd dinner with my little profits.
My biggest regret is not getting into the stock market when i was younger (eg. 20 yrs ago). TIME is the best technique to use in investment, the power of compounding needs TIME.
[Like]//@ReneS:ππππππ//@a4xrbj1:Yes. The big boys can sell in black markets with us retail investors having no chance to see who sells. They have AI led predictions and put their sell trades out, then start the social media/news machine to tell the world what is bad despite an all time high performance in deliveries and production (with multi year CAGR still well above 60%). So yeah, that's how they get the price down and now they will start buying again before us retail investors will try to understand why within days the sentiment for Tesla once again chances. Rinse and repeat, making hundreds of millionsthis way, especially with Tesla which is known for large up and down swing

$SINGAPORE EXCHANGE LIMITED(S68.SI)$Had written a little about SGX on 2 Oct 2022. As the share price has closed much lower since, thought I will write a follow up from the Early Oct post. Year-to-date, Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) has fallen about 8.5%. Even at its lowest during COVID-19 year of 2020, it was $8.05. Thus, when SGX closed at $8.60 on Friday 14 Oct, now trading on 17th oct 10am at $8.48 it seemed like a good time to DCA and slowly accumulate. Several analysts has indicated a target price of abt $11, which gives a potential upside of 30%. Itβs annual dividends in the last 10 years averages at 3.6% (about $0.30); even during the financial crisis of 2008 and COVID-19 in 2020/2021. T
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$though the mkt seemed to be up this week, i think most investors will still be cautious, regardless if they are personal Tesla fan or punter. Tesla's 19th Oct results announcement will see the giant movement up or down. Personally, i will still keep to my target of buying between 140 to 160.

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$i believe Tesla will further adjust with their deliveries and sales... the latter is a worry as recession sets in and consumers may decide to get cheaper models. Recent tesla stk price fell despite overall mkt UP RALLY ... hmmm... a foresight on Tesla's future? Will supply be consistent from their German plant with the coming energy crisis in Europe? When can they mass market and monetise the R&D "dump" into humaniod robot despite their self drive is still not widely adopted as safe or is it still safe?[Sweats] My target buy-in price will be around USD135/USD140, hopefully a good a safety margin to world is normal again
i hv only the best of wishes for incoming PM Wong.I am a proud S'porean.Having been overseas, I am grateful to Mr Lee Kwan Yew for setting up such a wonderful country, easy accessible education, equal opportunity for girls to go school & break out of the cycle of poverty which my parents& grandparents endured post War/British/M'sia. With a gd govt, safe country, i hv a relatively fair share of opportunities in jobs& life! I'm always grateful to the leaders who provide political&social safety&stability so that i can concentrate on building my life, not worry abt basic safety when coming home at night. Though S'pore is not perfect, it is home. All these were due to the strong foundations built by Mr Lee Kuan Yew, now this baton is been passed the 3rd time to Mr Wong. I kn

$Microsoft(MSFT)$Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on 1975, almost 50 years ago. They started with the PC operating system of MS-DOS evolving into MS- Windows, MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Access, Internet Explorer etc. Microsoft is a good company with strong moat owning the other side of non-Apple world... As such, if Microsoft innovations continue to be widely adopted by consumers the contrive will have stable users and income for decades to come. I was lucky to be able to pick up some Microsoft stk at 240, i will hold on to it and hope to accumulate in the next couple of mths.
$WILMAR INTERNATIONAL LIMITED(F34.SI)$ Wilmar is one of Asia's leading agribusiness groups and ranks amongst the largest listed companies by market capitalisation on the Singapore Exchange. Business activities include oil palm cultivation, edible oils refining, consumer pack edible oils processing and merchandising, specialty fats, oleochemicals, and biodiesel manufacturing, grains processing and merchandising, and sugar milling and refining. Wilmar is a good counter to invest in, decent dividends +/- 4%, decent capital growth rate.
I would think Fed will keep to the 75 bps instead of trying to whack hard with 100bps. The reason for my guess is because inflation numbers seemed to hv flattened (though last mth's number is a mere 0.1% increase). I would think this round they'll still go for 75bps and monitor for next cycle. With this, i reckon the market likely will stay ard 380 +/- even though i personally hope for a fall to 365 so that i accumulate SPY [Grin]
$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ)$ QQQ is now at mid June low, lowest in the past 1 yr, year to date it has fallen almost 35% ... is it time to go in or will it go to Covid-19 low in March 2020? A little background, Invesco QQQ is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq based on market capitalisation. QQQ has huge tech exposure, 35% of its holdings are of Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla shares thus making it more volatile than other ETFs such as SPY which spread over 500 companies. While QQQ does have some dividends, I'll rather classify it as part of my capital growth strategy instead. Happy trading everyone and keep
$Apple(AAPL)$Apple will likely be bearish for next couple of weeks. In the long term, Apple stock is a buy now. The company is well positioned with strong moat and loyalists. As long as Apple continues to innovate, there will be demand. This loyal customers give the brand pricing power, profits and cash flow, which help to increase the share value and share price. In the other hand, for short-term trading, with all of the negative macroeconomics, will be hard for Apple share price to go up with meaningful margin to cash out.
$WILMAR INTERNATIONAL LIMITED(F34.SI)$ there's a gd chance to get Wilmar at 3.80... wilmar is a gd counter with decent dividends and capital growth. The Company's segments include Food Products, Feed and Industrial Products, Plantation and Sugar Milling, and Others. Food Products segment comprises the processing, branding and distribution of a wide range of edible food products, which includes vegetable oil produced from palm and oilseeds, sugar, flour, rice, noodles, specialty fats, snacks, bakery and dairy products. $WILMAR INTERNATIONAL LIMITED(F34.SI)$there's chance today/ early next week to accumulate. According to some analysts, there are many positives (stable dividends and has decently good growth prospects) for Wilmar International right now if it can continues to narrow the gap with its subsidiary. Based on its latest share price of $5.22, Wilmar is trading at a P/E ratio of 18.7x and dividend yield of 2.4%.
$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$Though the 75 bps had been announced for several months and is expected, seemed like the market is emotional and scared... i reckon SPY will fall a little more then when emotions settled, go sideways, at least till next cpi results release in oct... what we need is probably a good recession to beat inflation... then the market will rise again... be patient, keep calm and carry on... As i was writing this, i realised I'm telling and reminding myself of the virtue of patience as well ;p
In this turbulent times where the rise and fall of the market are based on emotions, i remembered a quote from an American comedian who was asked why he decided to start a social movement. It is even more relevant now than ever... please do look out for our friends who may be overtly affected by their financial situation especially if they have lost a great amount of money in crypto or stocks... a listening ear may just pull them back from pure despair. "As long as we live in a world where we know that we are not alone and struggling, maybe we can make it to tomorrow."~Roy Wood Jr
$AEM HOLDINGS LTD(AWX.SI)$another regret of mine... my friend asked me to get aem when it was 4... i procrastinated ... another "Shld hv" story [Facepalm]
Er... let the man says what he wants... he has the rights to free speech... isn't that what USA is all abt, the 1st amendment? If his has followers and admirers believe in him the world wld hv to accept that Mr Musk's influence, recently he has done some "good" though, taking on Putin whom the world regards as a villain π I'm not endorsIng Mr Musk but we jus hv to acknowledge his media prowess as it tocks his industry and more importantly the financial mkt!
