$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ There is a difference between expenditure (spend) and investment (invest), there is also a difference between trading (speculative) and investing (speculative but for the long term). Trading is like buying 4D, you win some, you lose some. Investing is like buying a business, you win over the long term if you do enough homework. Allocate your money mainly for investment and keep some for trading when opportunity arises.
If I have a long term view of the companies, I will be adding more to the position. If I am holding for short term gains, I would let go and wait for a better price to continue.
When choosing to invest in dividend stocks, look at the following: 1. Does the stock price grow over time? It won't be good if you are receiving dividends but losing more price movements of the stock. You might need to liquidate your stocks at certain times and risk losing the overall value. 2. Does the dividend grow over time? It would be good if the dividends you receive can beat the inflation rate and even better if they can double over time.
Support and resistance levels are subjective depending on how you draw the lines. 164 does not look like a strong support/resistance level no matter how I read the charts. Prefer to look at the 10s for support and resistance, aka 150, 160, 170 where the options strike prices are at.
Tesla Stock Breached Support. This Is Where It's Headed
Another way to look at the "competition" is that most are losing money for each of the EV cars sold and whether they can continue to do so to gain market share.
Tesla Stock Plunge: Is TSLA Heading for a Complete Reversal of Its 2023 Gains?
Sometimes, we need to put it in another perspective. It is not likely to continue with a 50% growth year over year over year. Manufacturing cannot keep up without doing it overseas. Also, to collect more data for FSD to make it up the next level there would be need for more Tesla cars on the road, squeezing margins would be one way to help achieve this.
Tesla: May Decline Further, But Thereby Create A Long-Term Opportunity
Waiting for the crowd to join in even if it takes till after the US election. Have a small position in the stock so won't be affected much if it goes sideways but potential win might be substantial.
Choice of words or wordings. Would you prefer a flatish 8% yield over a 2% yield that doubles in over a 5-year period? Choose your investments based on your investment horizon - 5 years, 10 years or 30 years or more. Are you also looking for price appreciation when you invest in dividend stocks? Higher appreciation is not good when you are thinking of reinvesting your dividends.
Got 1 share from the spinoff. Found this while checking portfolio and found this share that I did not personally partake. Hope Tiger have some sort of notification to customer for such event.

Wait for Cathie Wood to finish buying before you step in. The difference in the price you buy in versus her buying prices would be the potential profit you might gain above whatever selling price at later dates.

Recession might be good if it can keep inflation under control. Worse is stagflation. If inflation is brought down by the recession, the Feds would be willing to do the reverse to pick up the market, which would likely bring better results (and more profits for us) in the long term.

Of course it is still a buy. Imagine the number of subscriptions that would be coming back after the Russia-Ukraine war is over. Already in profit for my small bet but will only let go after reaching at least 100% profit.
When you see value in the stock you are buying, go ahead with the purchase. If market goes down and brings down the price of the stock, buy more! If you have enough stock for an options trade, sell the call option (above or around your purchase price) to help cover for the loss in price.

Don't go against the Feds. Story has been told over and over and yet market refused to listen to the moral of the story. Lucky for me my small SQQQ position (as a hedge) is still holding strong.
