Turbulence. Up down but mostly down. I've learnt that as a buy and hold investor lookingat the long term, maybe it's better not to look at the stock tickers everyday. Stay away from the sensationalist clickbait news. 

A helpful book on investing will be TechnicalAnalysis of Financial Markets by John J Murphy. It's very comprehensive and offers a lot of details on the different ways of technical analysis such as chart patterns, moving averages and different indicators. In my free time I prefer reading fiction such as suspense and mystery.The NLB Libby allows loan of ebooks which is very convenient!

$SINGTEL(Z74.SI)$Bought Singtel years ago at a price of 3.6. Now left bag holding [Sad] for dividends cos it doesn't look like it's ever going back to that price 

$Straits Times Index(STI.SI)$Good to dca into sti etf. Volatile market with rise in interestrates. STI ETF big component are the three banks, which will benefit from rise in interestrate. Alternatively, consumer staples and defensive stocks like $Wal-Mart(WMT)$which is on an uptrend or $Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLP)$Which investorstend to turn to when market is on a downturn. 

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$Looking very attractive once it hits below 1000. Lots of Fed talks this week. Expect the market to react.

Yes, believe they have already bottomed andare on the uptrend given what the Chinese government said on the support for foreign listings and market stability. Think the pre market today is a bullish indicator. Hopefully! $NIO Inc.(NIO)$

$SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$ Buy on ex dividend date when price drop. Over holiday season and upcoming China loosening Covid restrictions, SIA Stock could look to go up. 

Target price probably about $6. However the recovery is likely to be slow. It is expectedto recover to pre-covid levels by FY2024. Right now the capacity is only about 42%. With the removal of VTL and quarantine, expectpassenger numbers to increase. At same time, SQ posted its first quarterly profit for third quarter since onset of pandemic. Likely the stock will only go upwards as restrictions ease and travel returns.
