Looking closely on $Adobe(ADBE)$ to see if it manages to execute a turn around despite all the competition from AI and nano banana. Adobe is not just about photoshop. It’ll be interesting to see what the market values it after the results.
Got the options book. Yet to study it but what I know is the concept of call and put options. The challenge is when to use buy or sell call/put and understanding all the various terminology and strategies. It’ll be nice if there’s a personal coach or AI coach for options. Or a step by step video plus actionable advice on the demo account with coins to win. What do you think? [Cool]
Replying to @koolgal:I’ve bag held to zero so I know how that feels. [LOL]//@koolgal:Top Glove is My Bagholder Badge of Honour. I am down 90%. That is not a typo. That is a latex laced lesson in humility. A bagholder is someone who clings to a stock long after its glory days are gone, watching it tumble while whispering sweet nothings like maybe it will bounce. It is the financial equivalent of holding the bouquet after the wedding has been called off. I was that person. I believed in Top Glove. I held the bag. I even considered framing the chart as modern art. But here is the twist. I don't see it as failure. I see it as tuition. Top Glov
E/I N T/F J for me [LOL] I talk to people to get a sense and also dive deep alone into the numbers. I love spotting the next big thing and I do analyse and based decisions on facts. Also although feel the momentum, I do plan and judge a little bit more. Anyone like me? [LOL]
Most will be miss since there are 3 possibilities. Up, down, sideways. Thus it is better to invest in good quality companies with a wide moat and buy at a price with a wide margin of safety. [Grin]
[Buy or Sell?!] With the sudden changes in the landscape with Israel attacking Iran, and escalating tensions in the Middle East, the$S&P 500(.SPX)$ has stopped in its tracks for new heights. In this situation, what should investors do? Sell case Cash in the wallet is better than cash burning to the ground. People who are heavily leveraged or need a safe amount of buffer, should consider selling their overvalued stocks or positions to hold cash. Yes, cash can depreciate, but burning stocks can crash faster. If you don't have the basic 6 to 12 months of safety, you should seriously consider rebalancing into more cash. Or if you can't stomach a crash of 40-60%, you should consider holding more cash. Or if the
Ray Dalio is indeed a wise person. Much like Philip Kotler, they have both foresaw the deep breakdown of major systems in the world with major implications. Of course, will the change in political, economic, environmental and technological systems result in positive change quickly or how long will it last? Nobody knows. Hence in a major market collapse, going in boldly is wise, but NOT all in. You will still need resources to weather the storms ahead. PE is just a single indicator that looks at how price is versus earnings. We need to look deeper into why the earnings is such and what is driving the price story. I look at a whole lot of other indicators of which it depends on the type of company and the circumstances. [Grin]
Forest definitely has the resources to lead a team. His character is also one that refuses to lose and is willing to take the hard knocks in order to win. Hopefully he can turn this situation around for Singapore football, like what he did to Sea. [Cool]
[Cool] Dear Mr Market, I would like to note that your bipolar disorder has gotten worse lately. Your swings from pessimism to optimism to pessimism used to be on a monthly basis. Now it’s on a weekly to daily basis. Nonetheless, I will continue to stand by you, cos on the long run, your meds will work and you’ll be positively optimistic. Whenever you’re very down, just let me know and I’ll give that little lift you need with my investments. [Cool] @daz88888888 @LMSunshine @melson @Bonta @GoodLife99
When all fear and panic strikes, I’ll Celebrate the RED, as a value investor, Cheap can get CHEAPER, and when others are Fearful, I become Greedy. [Cool] Are you a value investor too? MTL - Mai Tu Liao! [Tongue]
[Survival with just $10?!] Would this be possible in Singapore? Absolutely so. With intermittent fasting, all I need is just 2 meals a day. Aside my office provides a free flow of coffee, sugar, fruits and snacks. Without office support, a $4 Cai png and a $4.50 noodles will still give me $1.50 extra to save and compound. Of course I could use that to get some bread or desert too! [Grin] [Cool] What do you think? @CaptainTiger@MillionaireTiger@TigerStars@daz88888888@LMSunshine
