All the same, one analyst is confident that the stock will hit top gear and keep rising over the next decade.

What Happened: Tesla stock will go from a market capitalization of a little over $1 trillion currently to $10 trillion by 2030, New Street Research analyst Pierre Ferragu said in a tweet. The analyst said the Tesla growth story is slowly taking hold and the company is on track to see unprecedented scale and capture 20% of the auto market.

Ferragu, however, cautioned that his estimate is neither a forecast nor an investment recommendation, leaving it open to investors to decide for themselves.

The analyst's 2030 look ahead assumes 20 million units of vehicle sales and an average selling price of $35,000, translating to vehicle sales of $700 billion. About $1.5 billion will likely come from insurance, $35 billion-$70 billion from full-self driving software and $250 billion from energy, with real AI providing option value.

The total 2030 revenue will likely come in at $1 trillion, the analyst estimates. Applying a multiple of 8-10 times on estimated sales, the company's valuation will gallop to about $10 trillion, he added.

Where Will This Leave Tesla Stock: Tesla's outstanding share count is currently at 1.03 billion. If the share count remains unchanged, the per-share value of Tesla would be around $9,710.

Tesla detractors and skeptical investors may debate the credibility of Ferragu's model. Nevertheless, the company is poised to see superlative growth over the coming years. Tesla, according to many sell-side analysts, is not able to keep pace with the surging demand for its vehicles.

It may now have found a solution with the two more Gigas, in Berlin and Texas, coming online. Loup Fund analyst Gene Munster expects the company to deliver 1.8 million vehicles in 2023.

Tesla closed Friday's session down 3% at $1,025.49.

","source":"lsy1606299360108","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Where Will Tesla Stock Be In 2030? All the same, one analyst is confident that the stock will hit top gear and keep rising over the next decade. What Happened: Tesla stock will go from a market capitalization of a little over $1 trillion currently to $10 trillion by 2030, New Street Research analyst Pierre Ferragu said in a tweet. The analyst said the Tesla growth story is slowly taking hold and the company is on track to see unprecedented scale and capture 20% of the auto market.Ferragu, however, cautioned that his estimate is neither a forecast nor an investment recommendation, leaving it open to investors to decide for themselves. Applying a multiple of 8-10 times on estimated sales, the company's valuation will gallop to about $10 trillion, he added.Where Will This Leave Tesla Stock: Tesla's outstanding share count is currently at 1.03 billion. If the share count remains unchanged, the per-share value of Tesla would be around $9,710.Tesla detractors and skeptical investors may debate the credibility of Ferragu's model. Nevertheless, the company is poised to see superlative growth over the coming years. Tesla, according to many sell-side analysts, is not able to keep pace with the surging demand for its vehicles. It may now have found a solution with the two more Gigas, in Berlin and Texas, coming online. Loup Fund analyst Gene Munster expects the company to deliver 1.8 million vehicles in 2023.Tesla closed Friday's session down 3% at $1,025.49.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":472,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9015025722,"gmtCreate":1649395659120,"gmtModify":1676534505567,"author":{"id":"4110759162732592","authorId":"4110759162732592","name":"lalaleh","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4110759162732592","idStr":"4110759162732592"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👍","listText":"👍","text":"👍","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9015025722","repostId":"1192998917","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":901,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9012804898,"gmtCreate":1649298898345,"gmtModify":1676534488153,"author":{"id":"4110759162732592","authorId":"4110759162732592","name":"lalaleh","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4110759162732592","idStr":"4110759162732592"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9012804898","repostId":"1106290580","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":433,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9012009295,"gmtCreate":1649249143015,"gmtModify":1676534477141,"author":{"id":"4110759162732592","authorId":"4110759162732592","name":"lalaleh","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4110759162732592","idStr":"4110759162732592"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ouch","listText":"Ouch","text":"Ouch","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9012009295","repostId":"1198129627","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1058,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9012000669,"gmtCreate":1649249019554,"gmtModify":1676534477119,"author":{"id":"4110759162732592","authorId":"4110759162732592","name":"lalaleh","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4110759162732592","idStr":"4110759162732592"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"☹️","listText":"☹️","text":"☹️","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9012000669","repostId":"1130021144","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1130021144","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1649247395,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1130021144?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-06 20:16","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Pre-Bell | Nasdaq Futures Fell 1.56%; Semiconductor Stocks Slid","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1130021144","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"U.S. stock index futures fell on Wednesday, signaling a second day of selling on Wall Street as inve","content":"

U.S. stock index futures fell on Wednesday, signaling a second day of selling on Wall Street as investors feared aggressive moves by the Federal Reserve to tackle inflation, with eyes on minutes from the central bank's March meeting.

Market Snapshot

At 8:15 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis were down 239 points, or 0.69%, S&P 500 e-minis were down 42.5 points, or 0.94%, and Nasdaq 100 e-minis were down 231 points, or 1.56%.

Pre-Market Movers

Twitter – Twitter fell 1.5% in premarket trading, potentially breaking a three-day win streak that has seen it gain nearly 32%. It’s time to pick up","content":"

Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock has managed to climb nearly 20% over the past month. It’s time to pick up Nvidia shares while they are still selling at a discount. Currently trading in the $280 range, that may not sound cheap, but shares are still off more than 20% from their November 2021 all-time high close of $333.76.

Given the way this company’s business is going — and the projections for future growth — you’re liable to be kicking yourself if you don’t pick up shares at current prices.

Here are the reasons why NVDA stock has nowhere to go but up.

Nvidia’s Current Business Is Going Strong

Going back to February, Nvidia reported its Q4 and full-year fiscal 2022 results. The company reported record quarterly revenue (up 53% year-over-year) and record annual revenue (up 61% YoY). The company’s Gaming, Data Center and Professional Visualization divisions each reported record quarterly and annual revenue. Adjusted earnings-per-share of $1.32 topped the $1.22 analysts were expecting.

Nvidia’s CEO summed up the performance and what’s coming: “We are entering the new year with strong momentum across our businesses and excellent traction with our new software business models with NVIDIA AI, NVIDIA Omniverse and NVIDIA DRIVE. GTC is coming. We will announce many new products, applications and partners for NVIDIA computing.”

The mention of GTC is very important. Because what Nvidia revealed at that conference (which wrapped up last week), will make last year’s record $26.91 billion seem quaint.

Nvidia At GTC 2022

I’ve already written about the massive opportunity the metaverse represents for Nvidia, and for NVDA stock’s growth. That was before GTC 2022.

Nvidia’s GTC 2022 (Graphics Technology Conference) took place from March 21 through March 24. At the event, Nvidia showed off its latest new products and laid out a plan for the future that has investors drooling.

Among the key announcements were new Hopper architecture for its data center AI systems. These Hopper chips will power the Eos supercomputer, which is expected to be the world’s fastest AI supercomputer when it begins operations later in 2022. Its projected 18.4 exaflops of AI computing performance would make it four times faster than the current champion, Japan’s Fugaku supercomputer. Hopper is expected to be commercially available in the first half of 2023.

Joining Hopper is Grace, a new GPU superchip for the data center market. This new chip will also hit the market in the first half of 2023. Nvidia’s new DRIVE Hyperion 9 driving platform architecture arrives in 2026, doubling the performance of the current DRIVE Orin-based architecture. In addition, Nvidia is releasing a new Isaac Nova Orin platform for autonomous robotics.

What about the metaverse? While pushing its own Omniverse as a solution for creating massive, ultra-realistic simulations, Nvidia is making it available to a wider audience. The company’s new Omniverse Cloud eliminates the need for a PC with an RTX graphics card.

The company also announced six new RTX series GPUs. These are aimed at gaming PCs and laptops, as well as professional and creative markets.

Why is all this a big deal for NVDA stock growth? InvestorPlace contributor Shanthi Rexaline has a nice summary. This includes a long-term addressable market of $100 billion for gaming, $300 billion for software (including Omniverse), $300 billion for chips and systems and $300 billion for automotive.

You can see why 2021’s record revenue of $26.91 billion suddenly seems like it leaves Nvidia with plenty of runway for growth.

Bottom Line on NVDA Stock

With an “A” rating in Portfolio Grader, NVDA stock is a strong buy. I’m far from the only one who feels this way. The investment analysts polled by the Wall Street Journal give NVDA a consensus “overweight” rating. If shares hit their average price target of $343.47, that’s an upside in the range of 25%. And that takes us to just before those new Hopper and Grace chips are expected to start shipping.

Nvidia has been a powerhouse stock for the past six years. Its biggest crisis came in 2018 when the crypto market crashed and took demand for graphics cards with it. However, NVDA stock quickly came roaring back with more momentum than ever. Even a global pandemic, semiconductor shortages and supply chain disruption weren’t enough to knock NVDA off its growth trajectory. From the worst of the crypto crash fallout in December 2018 to November 19, 2021, NVDA delivered virtually nonstop growth and a return of over 900%.

Since then, macroeconomic factors that have resulted in a broad market pullback — hitting tech stocks especially hard — have done some damage. NVDA stock appears to have shaken off the doubts and has been rallying for the past two weeks. At this point it is down just 9% from the start of the year. Now it’s going in the right direction once again, but still nicely discounted compared to its November 2021 all-time highs.

It’s time to make a move.

","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
It’s Time to Buy Nvidia Stock While It Remains Relatively Cheap
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nIt’s Time to Buy Nvidia Stock While It Remains Relatively Cheap\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-04-05 19:26 GMT+8 investorplace\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock has managed to climb nearly 20% over the past month. If there’s a company that can pull it off, it’s Nvidia, with its brilliant leader Jensen Huang.Undoubtedly, the total addressable market (TAM) for Nvidia is enormous. The innovative graphics-processing unit (GPU) maker has a front-row seat to video gaming, automotive tech, AI, and data center. Undoubtedly, a nice slice of each of the following markets could propel the company’s market cap above the $1 trillion mark.Still, it’s Nvidia’s Omniverse initiative that could be the key to unlocking next-level growth over the next decade once we move closer to the concept of the metaverse. However, although Nvidia is on the cutting edge of next-generation technology, I am neutral on the stock. It’s not that I wasn’t excited about Nvidia’s investor day or the $1 trillion opportunities at hand. It’s the valuation of the stock going into a higher-rate environment. The growth sell-off has been unforgiving thus far, and it may not be over. With a 22.7 times sales multiple, NVDA stock faces tremendous downside risk if the broader growth sell-off continues. For that reason, I’m in no rush to chase Nvidia stock to trillion-dollar market cap territory. It will come in due time, but it will surely be a rocky road to the level, with the growth trade starting to show its wobbly legs.Nvidia’s Omniverse is the Answer to Meta’s MetaverseAdd the exciting Nvidia Omniverse effort into the equation, and the trillion-dollar aspirations are not at all far-fetched. Thanks to a timely name change,Meta Platforms (FB) has propelled the concept of the metaverse to the forefront. In recent months, though, the growth trade has faded, and the metaverse ambitions of Mark Zuckerberg have started to seem more far-fetched.With interest rates on the rise, profitability matters more than exciting stories. Still, there’s no denying the long-term potential in the metaverse. Arguably, Nvidia is one of the better-equipped companies to construct the metaverse, not Meta. Unlike Meta, Nvidia has been in the gaming business for a very long time, with its top-of-the-line hardware that helps gamers run their favorite titles. Not only does Nvidia’s background give its Omniverse offering a greater chance at success, but it also lacks the questionable reputation that Facebook has. Further, early teases of Nvidia’s Omniverse appear so much more exciting than the Meta presentation that revealed the firm’s new name and focus.Simply put, Nvidia is a graphics power king, and it’s this hardware edge that could allow it to transition consumers into virtual worlds, which will likely be gaming-centric.Nvidia Stock’s Valuation Remains ExcessiveNvidia’s Investor Day did not fail to impress this year. In many ways, its presentation is becoming more exciting than the likes of an Apple keynote (at least until the company has a chance to unveil the Apple Car or mixed-reality headset). The initial reaction was profoundly positive. Still, the stock has been shedding some of its recent gains. At the end of the day, valuation matters. As one of the priciest semi stocks out there, Nvidia stock could be one of the growth stocks to face amplified damage as the rate-driven valuation reset continues.Further, many industries Nvidia is pushing towards may not be tremendously profitable until many years down the road. Think nascent markets like AI and Omniverse. They’re undoubtedly exciting, but it’s unclear when next-generation AI and the metaverse will be ready for prime time.If sizeable profits from such awe-inspiring initiatives are closer to 2030 than 2022, the stock will undoubtedly take a hit, especially now that the Fed has shown signs of increased hawkishness.Wall Street’s TakeTurning to Wall Street, NVDA stock comes in as a Strong Buy. Out of 26 analyst ratings, there are 21 Buy recommendations and five Hold recommendations. The average Nvidia price target is $351.74, implying an upside of ~44%. Analyst price targets range from a low of $245 per share to a high of $410 per share. The Bottom LineNvidia is such a great company with a visionary founder-led leader. Nvidia’s TAM is huge and seems virtually unbounded, but the real risk to the stock at these valuations is what happens with the growth trade. The company itself will be firing on all cylinders, and I do not doubt that it will deliver. That alone may make the stock worth a hefty premium, but is ~23 times sales too hefty a premium? I’m not so sure.In any case, I’d take a raincheck on the name because the “growth at any price” trade seems all but done now that the Fed is so focused on inflation.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":433,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9012000669,"gmtCreate":1649249019554,"gmtModify":1676534477119,"author":{"id":"4110759162732592","authorId":"4110759162732592","name":"lalaleh","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4110759162732592","authorIdStr":"4110759162732592"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"☹️","listText":"☹️","text":"☹️","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9012000669","repostId":"1130021144","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":603,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9016802410,"gmtCreate":1649162233594,"gmtModify":1676534460928,"author":{"id":"4110759162732592","authorId":"4110759162732592","name":"lalaleh","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4110759162732592","authorIdStr":"4110759162732592"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"💪","listText":"💪","text":"💪","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9016802410","repostId":"1155621499","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1155621499","pubTimestamp":1649157998,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1155621499?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-05 19:26","market":"us","language":"en","title":"It’s Time to Buy Nvidia Stock While It Remains Relatively Cheap","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1155621499","media":"investorplace","summary":"Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock has managed to climb nearly 20% over the past month.

It’s time to pick up Nvidia shares while they are still selling at a discount. Currently trading in the $280 range, that may not sound cheap, but shares are still off more than 20% from their November 2021 all-time high close of $333.76.Given the way this company’s business is going — and the projections for future growth — you’re liable to be kicking yourself if you don’t pick up shares at current prices. Here are the reasons why NVDA stock has nowhere to go but up.Nvidia’s Current Business Is Going StrongGoing back to February, Nvidia reported its Q4 and full-year fiscal 2022 results. The company reported record quarterly revenue (up 53% year-over-year) and record annual revenue (up 61% YoY). The company’s Gaming, Data Center and Professional Visualization divisions each reported record quarterly and annual revenue. Adjusted earnings-per-share of $1.32 topped the $1.22 analysts were expecting.Nvidia’s CEO summed up the performance and what’s coming: “We are entering the new year with strong momentum across our businesses and excellent traction with our new software business models with NVIDIA AI, NVIDIA Omniverse and NVIDIA DRIVE. GTC is coming. We will announce many new products, applications and partners for NVIDIA computing.”The mention of GTC is very important. Because what Nvidia revealed at that conference (which wrapped up last week), will make last year’s record $26.91 billion seem quaint.Nvidia At GTC 2022I’ve already written about the massive opportunity the metaverse represents for Nvidia, and for NVDA stock’s growth. That was before GTC 2022.Nvidia’s GTC 2022 (Graphics Technology Conference) took place from March 21 through March 24. At the event, Nvidia showed off its latest new products and laid out a plan for the future that has investors drooling.Among the key announcements were new Hopper architecture for its data center AI systems. Hopper is expected to be commercially available in the first half of 2023.Joining Hopper is Grace, a new GPU superchip for the data center market. This new chip will also hit the market in the first half of 2023. Nvidia’s new DRIVE Hyperion 9 driving platform architecture arrives in 2026, doubling the performance of the current DRIVE Orin-based architecture.
