Looking forward to ETRN earnings announcement. It will be interesting to hear the current status of the MVP pipeline, and any more news about merging or being acquired. Positioned early with a big set of short puts with April expiry.
I haven't touched Tesla and will continue to avoid it. The fundamentals are not compelling, and it's operating in an increasingly competitive market. Valuation is unjustified in my view.
I would sell a OTM put option on TLT for sure...If I wasn't selling a put on NEM instead. I think it's basically the same bet, but NEM has some other bullish catalysts that make this recent pullback very enticing as an investor.
My stock pick is Newmont (NEM). It stands to benefit from a rising gold price, synergies following its merger with Newcrest, and it is currently the most beaten down of the big three gold miners.
I'm looking to take advantage of the recent sharp pullback in Silver equities. I'm planning on selling a cash-secured put on my favorite ticker in this space, PAAS. The premium on this option works out to the equivalent of a 10% yield. I'm bullish on this stock long term, so would be happy to be assigned at my strike price. Best of luck to everyone making moves!
Currently looking to pick up another 100 ETRN shares. I have sold some puts with 09/15 expiry, but not convinced i will get allocated at that price. I will use the new shares to write a 11.0 covered call with an expiry date in January. During the holding period I should pick up a nice quarterly dividend of 0.15 cps, coupled with the option premium (0.35-0.40) per share (I.e. equivalent to almost a full year's dividends) if I don't get called away. If I do, which is possible with MVP coming online, I will also pick -up a healthy capital gain too.
