artificial intelligence models for drug discovery, which the chip designer can then potentially license out, the companies ","content":"

Nvidia invested $50 million to speed up training of biotech firm Recursion's artificial intelligence models for drug discovery, which the chip designer can then potentially license out, the companies said on Wednesday.

Recursion will train AI models on Nvidia's cloud platform using its own biological and chemical datasets exceeding 23,000 terabytes.

Nvidia could then license the AI models to biotech firms via BioNeMo, a generative AI cloud service for drug discovery that it rolled out widely earlier this year.

The companies did not specify whether Nvidia will take a stake in Recursion. Tesla arguably already belongs in that club.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":321,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":203545389404336,"gmtCreate":1690723054802,"gmtModify":1690723057194,"author":{"id":"4149410557710562","authorId":"4149410557710562","name":"Mohamed elsage","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a43cd2065e9d566c3da3119bc912aa93","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4149410557710562","authorIdStr":"4149410557710562"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Byd Company Limited(002594)$ 1000000000","listText":"$Byd Company Limited(002594)$ 1000000000","text":"$Byd Company Limited(002594)$ 1000000000","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/203545389404336","repostId":"2355692576","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":6,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":203545582829816,"gmtCreate":1690723026711,"gmtModify":1690724265278,"author":{"id":"4149410557710562","authorId":"4149410557710562","name":"Mohamed elsage","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a43cd2065e9d566c3da3119bc912aa93","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4149410557710562","authorIdStr":"4149410557710562"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Mohamed Elsage ","listText":"Mohamed Elsage ","text":"Mohamed Elsage","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/203545582829816","repostId":"2355692576","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2355692576","pubTimestamp":1690676003,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2355692576?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-07-30 08:13","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Stocks Crush \"Year of Bond\" in Biggest Sentiment Shift Since ‘99","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2355692576","media":"Bloomberg","summary":"Fixed income underwhelms as Teflon economy strands bearsMore than half of JPMorgan clients now see no recessionVisitors around the 'Charging Bull' statue near the New York Stock Exchange in New York. Once smart money starts scanning the market deeper, many such sleeper growth stocks will start a breakout to the upside. Thus, getting in while they are still in the sleeper phase is a great idea.

I would also like to note that sleeper growth stocks usually have substantial upside potential as many of their positive characteristics are not yet priced in by the market. Even better, they also provide a great margin of safety as they trade below their intrinsic value.

We’ll be talking about the following three sleeper growth stocks:

JD.com (JD)

JD.com (NASDAQ: JD) is a Chinese e-commerce company with over 580 million active customers. It is China’s biggest e-commerce company in terms of sales, even bigger than Alibaba (NYSE: BABA). Both businesses are very similar; their growth stories and stock prices reflect that. However, what is different regarding JD.com is that the company seems much more secure from the CCP’s crackdown. The same can’t be said about Alibaba, which Chinese authorities have constantly scrutinized.

JD stock reached a peak in early 2021 and has been on the slide since. But recent price action has turned positive, and the momentum implies that a strong U-turn is underway. The company is definitely trading below its intrinsic value, which Gurufocus considers to be at $92. I agree with that price since JD trades at forward earnings multiple of 12.7 times despite nearly double-digit sales growth projections for the next two years.

Even Wall Street seems very optimistic here. The consensus analyst price target is at $61, implying a 55% upside potential.

Warner Bros Discovery (WBD)

Warner Bros Discovery (NASDAQ: WBD) is another company sitting at quite a depressed level. It is up 33.8% year-to-date, but it’s still nearly 50% below what this merger previously traded at more than a year ago. This decline is not without its reasons, of course. Warner Bros Discovery has a profitability problem, and 12-month losses sit at a staggering $8.9 billion. Based on the quarterly data, these losses have been trimmed from $3.4 billion in Q2 2022 to $1.1 billion in Q1 2023. Quite the improvement.

However, this expenditure also has some good side effects too. Warner Bros has been clearing its debt, and analysts have optimistic projections further down the line. The future 3-5Y revenue growth rate sits at 10.7%, better than 77% of its media peers. But again, bottom-line misses are likely due to Warner Bros Discovery’s aggressive spending on content. It plans to spend $9.5 billion on original content this year.

Regardless, I don’t see Warner Bros Discovery in a cash crunch, and earnings disappointments have mostly been digested. It can also divert some from its massive debt repayment program if it ever needs cash. The stock trades at a forward P/E ratio of 17.8 times. Wall Street analysts recognize that the discount and the average analyst price target imply a 69% upside potential here.

Zoom (ZM)

Zoom (NASDAQ: ZM) was well awake during the pandemic era, and the stock traded at nearly $560 in Oct. 2020. However, the pandemic is sliding into distant memory for most people, and so is anything strongly associated with it. Zoom also “came and went,” for most people.

However, that is not entirely true. Not everyone is using Zoom, but there is massive potential here. The stock now trades 30% below even its pre-pandemic peak as Wall Street is busy with more trendy things. But this is a long-term play, and holding it with patience will likely return hefty gains. Once smart money starts scanning the market deeper, many such sleeper growth stocks will start a breakout to the upside. Thus, getting in while they are still in the sleeper phase is a great idea.I would also like to note that sleeper growth stocks usually have substantial upside potential as many of their positive characteristics are not yet priced in by the market. Even better, they also provide a great margin of safety as they trade below their intrinsic value. We’ll be talking about the following three sleeper growth stocks:JD.com (JD)JD.com (NASDAQ: JD) is a Chinese e-commerce company with over 580 million active customers. The same can’t be said about Alibaba, which Chinese authorities have constantly scrutinized.JD stock reached a peak in early 2021 and has been on the slide since. But recent price action has turned positive, and the momentum implies that a strong U-turn is underway. The company is definitely trading below its intrinsic value, which Gurufocus considers to be at $92. I agree with that price since JD trades at forward earnings multiple of 12.7 times despite nearly double-digit sales growth projections for the next two years.Even Wall Street seems very optimistic here. The consensus analyst price target is at $61, implying a 55% upside potential.Warner Bros Discovery (WBD)Warner Bros Discovery (NASDAQ: WBD) is another company sitting at quite a depressed level. It plans to spend $9.5 billion on original content this year.Regardless, I don’t see Warner Bros Discovery in a cash crunch, and earnings disappointments have mostly been digested. It can also divert some from its massive debt repayment program if it ever needs cash. The stock trades at a forward P/E ratio of 17.8 times. Wall Street analysts recognize that the discount and the average analyst price target imply a 69% upside potential here.Zoom (ZM)Zoom (NASDAQ: ZM) was well awake during the pandemic era, and the stock traded at nearly $560 in Oct. That’s because the work-from-home trend is still alive. The pandemic did give it a short-term boost followed by a decline, but it is still gaining traction in the very long run. Zoom will be a clear winner from this trend as it is now the first thing that comes to people’s minds regarding video conferencing. The pandemic left this company with a powerful brand and $5.6 billion in cash with meager debt, yet it continues trading at more or less the same level as before the pandemic.Accordingly, Gurufocus has a very optimistic fair price target of $250 by 2026.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":58,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":208725621469384,"gmtCreate":1691982369059,"gmtModify":1691982372031,"author":{"id":"4149410557710562","authorId":"4149410557710562","name":"Mohamed elsage","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a43cd2065e9d566c3da3119bc912aa93","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4149410557710562","authorIdStr":"4149410557710562"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ <v-v data-views=\"1\"></v-v>","listText":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ <v-v data-views=\"1\"></v-v>","text":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/208725621469384","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":587,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":198237223276744,"gmtCreate":1689432174521,"gmtModify":1689432216067,"author":{"id":"4149410557710562","authorId":"4149410557710562","name":"Mohamed elsage","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a43cd2065e9d566c3da3119bc912aa93","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4149410557710562","authorIdStr":"4149410557710562"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Mohamed elsage","listText":"Mohamed elsage","text":"Mohamed elsage","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/198237223276744","repostId":"2351267329","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2351267329","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1689376411,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2351267329?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-07-15 07:13","market":"us","language":"en","title":"S&P 500 Ends Down With Banks Mostly Lower, Indexes Post Weekly Gains","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2351267329","media":"Reuters","summary":"JPMorgan, Wells Fargo end nearly flat after Q2 resultsUnitedHealth rallies on Q2 earnings beatDow up 0.3%, S&P 500 down 0.1%, Nasdaq down 0.2%NEW YORK, July 14 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 ended down sligh","content":"

JPMorgan, Wells Fargo end nearly flat after Q2 results

UnitedHealth rallies on Q2 earnings beat

Dow up 0.3%, S&P 500 down 0.1%, Nasdaq down 0.2%

NEW YORK, July 14 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 ended down slightly on Friday, with bank and financial shares mostly lower on the day following quarterly reports that kicked off earnings season, but all three major U.S. stock indexes posted solid weekly gains.

Offsetting some of the declines, UnitedHealth Group's stock rallied following its stronger-than-expected results.

Shares of JPMorgan Chase rose 0.6% and Wells Fargo eased 0.3%, while the S&P 500 banks index fell 0.9%. The little bit that you do, you will hardly notice.According to Rivian’s senior director of powertrain and thermal, Henry Huang, “The only thing that you would probably see taillights on is a Quad-Motor R1” with the performance version.Huang explained that the basic dual-motor version “isn’t a product that does most things for the average customer” but “a product that does everything for most customers.”","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":18,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":199820409376880,"gmtCreate":1689826084410,"gmtModify":1689826090454,"author":{"id":"4149410557710562","authorId":"4149410557710562","name":"Mohamed elsage","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a43cd2065e9d566c3da3119bc912aa93","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4149410557710562","authorIdStr":"4149410557710562"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"1009000","listText":"1009000","text":"1009000","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/199820409376880","repostId":"1195780377","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1195780377","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Dow Jones publishes the world’s most trusted business news and financial information in a variety of media.","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Dow Jones","id":"1012688067","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/150f88aa4d182df19190059f4a365e99"},"pubTimestamp":1689719964,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1195780377?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-07-19 06:39","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Microsoft Stock Hits All-Time High On AI Software Pricing","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1195780377","media":"Dow Jones","summary":"Microsoft stock rallied to reach an all-time high Tuesday after the software giant announced its pricing strategy for adding generative artificial-intelligence capabilities to its flagship Microsoft 3","content":"

Microsoft stock rallied to reach an all-time high Tuesday after the software giant announced its pricing strategy for adding generative artificial-intelligence capabilities to its flagship Microsoft 365 software, which includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

The company said that Microsoft (ticker: MSFT) 365 Copilot software will be offered to business customers at $30 per user per month.

“Copilot jump-starts your creativity in Microsoft Word, analyzes data in Excel, designs presentations in PowerPoint, triages your Outlook inbox, summarizes meetings in Microsoft Teams—whether you attended or not—and so much more,” Microsoft said in its announcement.

Microsoft shares jumped 4% on Tuesday, to $359.49, a record high close.
