OpenAI's board, like any other business, can say whatever they want to remove a person that doesn't algin with profit generation. Greed is the greatest hindrance to society's improvement. Yeah, it is perfect to maintain finances and make a profit to build the business. But when it becomes the sole focus, it will work short term however, the business will lose in the end.
That's bullshit.... Christopher Luxon went to Australia because his daughter was graduating from uni. Everything else is a side effect of him going over. He didn't go to strengthen the relationship with Australia. It goes to show how the media is portraiting him in a "good" light. Yet he is self-serving.
New Zealand's Prime Minister to Visit Australia on Wednesday
Future society is heading towards electric. It is currently going through a transition from ICE vehicles to BEV vehicles. That's where hybrids are helping that transition. Yeah the stocks for ICE vehicle companies are still rising, but with the depletion of oil sources, therefore the price of petroleum will go up. Therefore, it will force people to look at cheaper options and that is when the stocks will flip.
This current government is destroying New Zealand, budget cuts to public sector, greater tax loopholes for landlords, and now opening up foreign investors in the housing market.
This is great news for OpenAI bring back the captain of the ship and removing the board, because they don't know what they are doing. They're only doing it for the money, not for the betterment of society and culture as a whole. Which from my limited understanding is what Sam Altman is about 😁
Sam Altman Could Make a Decision As Soon As Saturday Evening on Whether to Return to OpenAI
Yeah because New Zealand isn't a business like the government seems to think it is 🤦 And that Christopher Luxon is a weak leader, who bent over to little pathetic parties that now dominate public interest. Where is Luxon? Su
I don't really understand the shock of this, especially from the finance minister. Nicholas Willis has slashed economy boosting ideas for the long term in favour of short term ideas - that don't and haven't worked before. Financial professors have repeatedly stated that New Zealand should tax the owners of multiple homes and that would significantly improve and support the tax promises, given throughout the election process. However, the caucus of the three coalition parties - right leaning parties of course - all have multiple homes, in each individuals portfolio.
This government wants to cut funding for public services, to find their election promises. But what about cutting the privilege of tax free rent income that multiple homeowners are getting? No... That won't happen because that affects National party supporters to much.
"age-appropriate access to nicotine, which in adults is generally as safe as caffeine is" What a pathetic argument. Nicotine isn't the problem, it is how it is consumed that is the problem and all the health risks involved. Fuck this government is pathetic, three old guys that are still sucking dummies, trying to squeeze as much money out of the people while trying to be important. Wtf are you doing in government if you want to be "special"
There is going to be a culture shift with boards in different industries, that will happen from this fallout. It may not be within the next couple of years but my prediction it will be in the next 10years. When the old guard leave it for off. That is the greatest hindrance to progression, when the older generation want to stay stuck in what they know, without consideration for what is happening and changing in reality.
Wow the news about OpenAI's board not actually having evidence or grounds to sack Sam Altman is probably the biggest piece of news in this article. Even the malfeasance has been dropped, and that was in the articles about why Sam was fired, since Friday.
