$Sea Ltd(SE)$ Summary Sea Limited has been a major casualty of the pullback in growth stocks, with the share price falling nearly 70% from recent highs. Problems in its Garena business and troubles with international expansion have not helped market sentiment. Still, the Shopee and Sea Money divisions have seen excellent execution. Upstart stock plunges 35% after earnings as company cuts outlook (MarketWatch) -- Second-quarter outlook comes up light Shares of Upstart Holdings Inc. plunged 35% in after-hours trading Monday after the company, which uses artificial intelligence in lending decisions, topped expectations with its most recent results but cut its forecast for the full year. The company reported first-quarter net income of $32.7 million, or 34 cents a share, compared with $10.1 million, or 11 cents a share, in the year-earlier period. After adjusting for stock-based compensation and other expenses, Upstart (UPST) earned 61 a share, up from 22 cents a share a year prior and ahead of the FactSet consensus, which was for 53 cents a share. $Broadcom(AVGO)$ AVGO will have the free cash flow and earnings power to do exactly this, keep expanding buybacks in a big way just like NVDA. The chart may not look great, but shorting this doesn't make much sense. $30 in earnings power in 2028 puts this around 900 in 2 years.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Honestly, I'm not too concerned about the current price. I know I'll be getting a +50% ROI in 12 to 18 months.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Broadcom CEO Hock Tan said in the recent earnings report that they are very much on target to exceed $30 in earnings per share in fiscal 2028. If Broadcom reaches exactly $30 and its current ~31x forward P/E contracts by 20% to 24.8x, that implies a share price of $744, price appreciation of 102%, and estimated total return with dividends around 104%. Even with significant multiple compression, Broadcom could still more than double by the end of 2028.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ As Cramer said, this is a play on Anthropic with monster growth. They have OpenAI and Google as clients as well. It should be trading 10% higher. Holding tight. Way too cheap. Though I do have some doubts.
