1550 GMT - The U.K. budget includes positive measures for the housing industry, but nothing that will materially change housebuilders' outlook, says Oli Creasey at Quilter Cheviot. The government's 500-million pound boost to the existing Affordable Homes Programme is a small investment that will result in up to 5,000 new homes, he says. That is far from the government's target of 1.5 million new homes over the next five years, he notes. Housebuilder shares reacted positively this afternoon, but have given back most of their gains, Creasey writes. Shares in Bellway are down 0.1% at 30.6 pounds. Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon are up 0.5% and 0.2%, respectively. (cristina.gallardo@wsj.com)
