China Longyuan Power Issues 2 Billion Yuan Bonds

China Longyuan Power (HKG:0916, SHE:001289) issued ultra short-term bonds worth 2 billion yuan, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Monday.

The bonds have a coupon rate of 1.94% and a term of 179 days.

China Bohai Bank (HKG:9668) is the lead underwriter of the issuance.

The proceeds from the issuance will be used to replenish the power company's daily working capital and pay its debts, the disclosure said.

China Bohai Bank's shares soared less than 7% in recent trade.
