1月28日盘前，卡特彼勒发布2021年第四季度业绩。财报显示，第四季度营收138亿美元，市场预期131.51亿美元，去年同期112.35亿美元；第四季度净利润21.2亿美元，市场预期11.87亿美元，去年同期7.8亿美元；第四季度每股收益3.91美元，市场预期2.17美元，去年同期1.42美元；第四季度调整后每股盈利为2.69美元，市场预期为2.27美元；第四季度营业利润率为11.7%。
2020年第四季度经销商的库存减少，而2021年第四季度则基本持平。
第四季度全球机器零售销售额同比增长5%；北美地区增长1%，拉美地区增长15%，亚太地区下降8%。
预计2022年第1季度的销售将比2021年第1季度更强劲；预计2022年资本支出约为14亿美元；预计今年的重组费用约为6亿美元。
