CrowdStrike Holdings CEO Says Company is Working With Customers Impacted by Outage

CrowdStrike Holdings (CRWD) Chief Executive Officer George Kurtz said Friday in a post on X that the cybersecurity firm is actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Microsoft (MSFT) Windows hosts.
Kurtz further said that it is not a security incident or cyberattack and that the issue has been identified, isolated, and a fix has been deployed. Mac and Linux hosts were not impacted by the issue, he added.
The company's share price fell more than 10% during recent pre-market activity on Friday.
