1144 ET - The CrowdStrike outage has massively disrupted airlines, which grounded flights en masse on Friday morning, but most U.S. airport revenue collection isn't affected by delays or short periods of flight cancellations, says Earl Heffintrayer, senior credit officer for Moody's. He also anticipates that the credit impact will be minimal. Still, the disruptions underscore the "interconnected risk of our increasingly digitalized economy," and the need for strong cyber management practices, Heffintrayer says in a research note.
