1437 GMT - Shares in European oil-and-gas majors jumped after the news of Iran preparing an attack on Israel spread, creating concerns on the impact of supply in the region. According to U.S. officials, the Islamic republic is preparing to launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel, in what would be a significant escalation that threatens to spark an all-out war in the Middle East. London-based Shell and BP both bounced from a 0.2% dip to increases of 2.1% at 24.77 pounds and 4 pounds, respectively.
