J&J's 2025 Sales View Misses Wall Street Estimates -- Market Talk

Dow Jones2025-01-22

1214 GMT - Johnson & Johnson topped 4Q sales projections, but its outlook for 2025 is coming up short on the top line. The healthcare company is guiding for sales to rise between half a percentage point and 1.5%, bringing them to $89.2 billion to $90 billion total. That is below current analyst forecasts for $90.98 billion, according to FactSet. Sales would be higher were it not for impacts from acquisitions and divestitures, or foreign-currency translation, the company says. Adjusted earnings meanwhile are expected to hit $10.50 to $10.70 a share. Analysts polled by FactSet are currently forecasting $10.53 a share. Shares tick down slightly premarket.
