Salesforce, Marvell Technology, Dollar General, Ulta Beauty, and More Stocks to Watch This Week

Wall Street kicks off the final month of the year with a packed slate of earnings and economic data.

Earnings highlights include MongoDB and Credo Technology on Monday, followed by CrowdStrike Holdings, Bank of Nova Scotia, Marvell Technology, Pure Storage, Okta, GitLab, Box, Signet Jewelers, and American Eagle Outfitters on Tuesday.

Salesforce headlines Wednesday's lineup, which also includes Snowflake, Dollar Tree, and Five Below. Dollar General, Ulta Beauty, SentinelOne, Kroger, Brown Forman, Docusign, and Toronto-Dominion Bank will go on Thursday. Victoria's Secret will wrap things up on Friday.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis will finally release the personal consumption expenditures price index for September on Friday after the data was delayed by the government shutdown. Also out on Friday is the University of Michigan's Consumer Sentiment Index for December.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics will release delayed September export and import price data on Wednesday.

ADP will put out its National Employment Report for November on Wednesday. With the November nonfarm payrolls report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics delayed until Dec. 16, the numbers could take on added importance for Wall Street.

The Institute for Supply Management releases its Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index for November on Monday, followed by the ISM's services equivalent on Wednesday.

Monday 12/1

MongoDB and Credo Technology will report quarterly earnings.

The Institute for Supply Management releases its Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index for November. Consensus estimate is for a 49.3 reading, 0.6 point more than in October. Readings below 50 suggest contraction in the sector, while above 50 suggest expansion.

Tuesday 12/2

CrowdStrike Holdings, Bank of Nova Scotia, Marvell Technology, Pure Storage, Okta, GitLab, Box, Signet Jewelers, and American Eagle Outfitters will report quarterly results.

Wednesday 12/3

Salesforce, Snowflake, Dollar Tree, and Five Below announce earnings.

ADP releases its National Employment Report for November. The consensus call is for a gain of 42,500 in private-sector payrolls, compared with a 42,000 increase in October.

The Institute for Supply Management releases its Services PMI for November. The consensus call is for a 52.8 reading, up from 52.4 in October.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports export and import price data for September. Expectations are for a 0.15% month-over-month decline in export prices, while import prices are seen increasing 0.15%. This compares with gains of 0.3% for each in August. The data were originally scheduled for Oct. 17 but were delayed by the government shutdown.

Thursday 12/4

Dollar General, Ulta Beauty, SentinelOne, Kroger, Brown Forman, Docusign, and Toronto-Dominion Bank report quarterly results.

Friday 12/5

Victoria's Secret reports quarterly results.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis will release the personal consumption expenditures price index for September. The consensus estimate is for a 2.8% year-over-year increase, compared with a 2.7% annual increase in August. The core PCE price index, which excludes food and energy prices, is expected to rise 2.9%, matching the August figure.

The University of Michigan releases its Consumer Sentiment Index for December. The consensus call is a 55 reading, up from 51 in November.
