Coinbase long term prospects?

We’ve had 10+ years of crypto in the “mainstream” and it has still yet to demonstrate a single use case that’s better or more efficient than the current use case.

That’s pretty much why I never went full in on crypto in the first place.

But currency is funny. Its value and strength is solely in the belief of said currency. If didn't accept dollars and only bitcoins the dollar would have little to no value.

If I can buy bitcoins and end of the day, at the moment, can simply go cash it in for dollars, it has value.

There are improvements to be made still with blockchains. It certainly is a razors edge however at the moment if this is something that will stay or just a dumb fad. $Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$

    You remotely have no clue how crypto works and how each coins have something different to offer.

    There are coins like XRP which provides faster transfers n easy settlements in cross border funds transfer against your fiat money. That's by major US banks were interested in XRP before sec case (google it).

    While there are unexplored potential offerings by digital coins (via block chain) to ensure the purpose of money - PBM(purpose based money), which can ensure the money spender/traded for the specific purposes only (which fiat money can't provide). A layman example is a parent giving digital coins to his kids to ensure he spends it for specific purposes only, this could further be extended to the usecase of govts giving funds to different departments and ministries for expenses.

    Bottom line if you are bearish on something, I suggest to research on it and not to go with what market manipulators are telling you.
