Bank for International Settlements and Infosys co-founder introduce Finternet platform
The head of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Agustin Carstens, alongside Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, has introduced the concept of "Finternet".
This proposed digital platform aims to revolutionise the current financial system by utilising tokenised assets and smart contracts for more efficient transactions.
This innovative approach seeks to address existing deficiencies within financial transactions by leveraging the potential of programmable assets to streamline operations.
Through the "Finternet," Carstens and Nilekani envision a more interconnected and efficient financial ecosystem.
