$Tesla(TSLA)$ shares jumped another 9% on Monday as postelection rally continues. Gains left Tesla stock up about 39% since the Nov. 5 presidential election, and up 41% year to date. The postelection rally has created almost $320 billion in stock market value, pushing Tesla’s market capitalization to about $1.1 trillion. Shares haven’t closed above $350 since April 2022.

There are 4.01 million Tesla option contracts traded on Monday, down 48% from the previous trading day. Call options account for 65% of overall option trades. $Palantir(PLTR)$ shares gains another 3.2% to a new record on Monday. The data analytics firm raised its annual revenue forecast for the third time last week, bolstering investor confidence that the AI frenzy was fueling demand for its services. Palantir is among the biggest winners of the generative artificial intelligence boom, with its stock price more than 250% in value this year.
