Can CES 2025 Buzz Trigger A Rally From The Tech Stocks?

There have been many reporting regarding the CES 2025, the world's most powerful tech event, which is returning to Las Vegas, from 07-10 January. The show is bringing together global companies, from top brands to innovative startups, industry executives, media, and government leaders.

There is a record of 3400+ Innovation Award submissions, over 4500 exhibitors including roughly 1400 startups, and 1100 speakers for over 300 conference sessions, as mentioned by Gary Shapiro, CEO and Vice Chair, Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, owner and producer of CES.

CES 2025 Top Trends, Which Stocks Going To Receive Focus?

Artificial Intelligence

Generative AI is driving innovation. The entire AI ecosystem will be throughout CES, enhancing user experiences, increasing productivity, advancing health, and more.

We should be able to get an idea on how Generative Ai development have been growing, where are the real case of innovation coming to consumer. This should generate some interest on the tech companies who are supporting and complementing these Generative AI development drive.

AI puts the “smart” in smart homes, the “auto” in autonomous vehicles, and the “assist” in voice assistants all derive their capabilities from AI. From generative AI tools transforming content creation to predictive algorithms delivering hyper-personalized experiences, AI is becoming an essential enabler across industries.

One dominant AI trend for 2025 is super automation—moving beyond task-specific automation to fully automated workflows that measurably improve productivity.

So I would be looking at these hyperscaler stocks, $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ Microsoft

Another important item to watch out would be $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ CEO, Jensen Huang keynote on 06 Jan 2025, AI chip-makers Nvidia and $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ are expected to go head-to-head at this year’s CES. While Nvidia is likely to release its much anticipated GeForce RTX 50 GPU, AMD could show off its own next-gen GPU, which is likely to be either the RX 8000 or RX 9000 series.

Digital Health

CES will showcase tech innovation across the entire spectrum of health, increasing longevity, lowering costs, and improving health equity and patient empowerment.

For this, I would be looking at stocks that is actually supporting the crunching of the data used by Digital Health, without proper data being sort out, cutting-edge technologies reshaping patient care, diagnosis, and wellness. would be meaningless.

The foundation of AI and ML applications in healthcare is real-world data (RWD). RWD encompasses various types of health-related information collected outside of conventional randomized clinical trials, such as electronic health records (EHRs), insurance claims, patient registries, and even data from wearable devices. Companies like Flatiron Health, Tempus, Synapse, Matrixcare, Paige AI and many others have been pioneering in harnessing RWD, to gain insights into real-world patient outcomes, enhance drug development, and ultimately inform clinical decision-making.

One company which I would be watching is $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ and its solution, HealthStart, the developer platform for HealthTech startups to build faster, Palantir HealthStart is a healthcare software platform developed by Palantir Technologies, a prominent data analytics company. It's designed to help healthcare organisations improve patient outcomes, streamline operations, and reduce costs by leveraging advanced data analytics and visualisation tools.

How Should We Be Watching The Tech Stocks?

One stock I would be watching is Alphabet (GOOGL) as we are seeing a consolidation of the share price, though GOOGL went up slightly with 1.23%, the short-term and long-term MA show potential longer term upside, but MACD is showing downside, but I believe a reversal to the upside coming.

MTF is giving me confidence of strong upward trend, this should give confidence that GOOGL bulls could attempting to go back to previous highs near 200s.

We could see some exciting bullish movement this week with CES 2025 happening.

Summary

As the CES 2025 have been an AI driven event, we could be expecting quite a number of AI related solutions, both hardware and software companies and their products.

The questions is who and where are these solution running or residing from? There should be some winners and losers, but no company should be taking all the pies, so it is all about balanced.
