on today's earnings call,
1. it went softer on deeperUS Canada subscription lossess,
2. softer on lossess to stronger USD,
3. almost no mention of recession in its guidance.
Instead, it was,
1. heavily optimistic about ad based low cost tier - which until last quarterit admitted will take years to fully introduce,
2. charging second connections - timing of trail run in 5select Latin American countries is a master stroke as well,
3. literally no mention of headwinds due to increased competition and
4. no mention of increased cost of production and no mention of layoffs.
What a great screenplay! ๐
I m waiting for experts to opine - if to trust the narrative and buy Netflix at this price?
