Underrated REIT That Pays You More Than 8% Dividend Yield!
A quick introduction to $SASSEUR REIT(CRPU.SI)$ . This retail REIT owns an income generating portfolio of real estate which is primarily used for retail outlet mall purposes. Currently, the 4 properties that the REIT owns are all located in China.
So what makes Sasseur REIT the talk of the REIT community?
1) High Dividend Yield – The current dividend yield of ~8% is 1 of the highest among REITs with > $1 billion in market cap.
2) Undervalued – Looking at its 0.9 Price-to-Book ratio, it is relatively cheaper than many of the well known REITs out there.
3) Strong Purchasing Power – With the REIT initial focus on the Asia market, the rising purchasing power of middle income will bring about good businesses for the retail outlet malls. This will in turn provide stable, if not better income for the REIT.
4) Refinitiv Consensus Estimate – A strong buy with a target price of $1.08.
Personally, I am a lover of REITS. It allows me own a share of the real estate without burning pockets. And most importantly, it provides me with a good stream on income via its regular dividend distribution.
