2022 recap: good opportunity for value investor

2022 main event was USD interest hike. It created a good opportunity for value investors. Good company low prices only happened in bear markets.

My investment goal is to beat inflation and fixed income yield. Emerging market ETF and Singapore Dividend stock consist of my portfolio.

USD interest hike beat the emerging market asset, HK stock was a good example.

I followed the FOMC meeting rhyme to add my position.

I collected 7000 SDG dividend income this year. And I expect 10000 SGD dividend income next year because more stocks were purchased at 2nd half this year.

Here is an example of my buying pace for $TRACKER FUND OF HONG KONG(02800)$  , 5% drop then previous purchase price, need add more.

Some Singapore dividend stocks are listed in Singapore and HK, $SIIC ENVIRONMENT HOLDINGS LTD.(BHK.SI)$   and China Everbright Water. These two companies' earnings per share are stable, easy to forecast, this is the main reason I like them.

$CHINA AVIATION OIL(S) CORP LTD(G92.SI)$   will create a new record high, higher than before Covid-19 because China relaxed COVID-19 control policy.

I am not sure if the US will reduce interest in 2023. I expect my portfolio will rise 30% by the time the US start lowering interest.

I don’t have a position in US stocks; S&P 500 P/E was neither expensive nor cheap. I am looking for a good time to open a $VOO(VOO)$  position in 2023.
