Rising star in the semi-conductor industry!!

As most of you know the semi-conductor industry $iShares Semiconductor ETF(SOXX)$$VanEck Vectors Semiconductor ETF(SMH)$ has dropped from its peak in Dec 2021 and the recent rally has helped to regain part of the losses. Despite the sell-down, there's always exception and there's one rising semi-conductor stock that is currently at its 52-weeks high!! That's $ON Semiconductor(ON)$

Quick information about the company:

It is a spin-off company from Motorola in July 4, 1999. It is a leading semi-conductor manufacturer with over 80,000 different parts and a global supply chain that serves tens of thousands of customers across hundreds of markets! It supplies analog, standard logic, and discrete semiconductors for data and power management. 

You will be surprised to know that the demand for some of the semi-conductor sectors are still hot - such as the auto business and it shows up in the stock performance of chip companies in these sectors. 

Let's take a quick look at its recent earnings:

Q3 21: Revenue = 1.74B, EPS = 0.87

Q4 21: Revenue = 1.85B, EPS = 1.09

Q1 22: Revenue = 1.94B, EPS = 1.22

Q2 22: Revenue = 2.08B, EPS = 1.34

There's clearly no slowing down and there's also strong guidance for upcoming quarters!! This is truly one superstar in the semi-conductor industry!! Do you have this in your portfolio?? If not, you can add to your watchlist and buy when there's a better opportunity!!
