🤔💭Thoughts on ASX Earnings Season & Releases for 15/8 💵💵💵
Again we see the “Friday Syndrome” on 12/8 where an uncertain session on 11/8 (Thu) in Wall Street encouraged traders to book profits following the ASX’s best day in 3 weeks. Shares backed off an 8-week high as some of the week’s best performers lost ground, with the ASX All ordinaries, ASX 200, & ASX 300 all ending in negative territory. However, on that same night, the DJIA, Nasdaq, & the S&P500 rallied once again & ended in positive territory. ASX should open positive this morning ahead of a BIG week of earnings from major companies🥳 See photos of earning summary from last week & earning releases due today.
🐂 Bullish about Beach Energy $BEACH ENERGY LTD(BPT.AU)$as it’s expected to do well due to high demand the last few months. Moreover, it has announced it will sell 3.75 million tonnes of its LNG under a sale & purchase agreement executed last week with oil & gas giant BP’s subsidiary BP Singapore. Am hoping for a BIG dividend & a drive-up in its stock price 🤗
🐻Bearish about:
(1) BlueScope Steel $BLUESCOPE STEEL LTD(BSL.AU)$due to Covid lockdown in China & reduced steel demand & weak iron ore prices.
(2) Bendigo & Adelaide Bank $BENDIGO AND ADELAIDE BANK(BEN.AU)$due to NAB’s & CBA’s releases.
