For the test question, Jan-Mar. 2024 NVDA is clearly in an up trend confirmed by both the higher highs and the high.green volumes throughout. At the beginning of 2025, around mid Jan-mid Apr, there was a breakdown to a down trend with more red volume bars with one huge one.
yes, I still think AI will remain the dominant theme in 2026. I am neutral on Dan Ives list and my conviction is still with Nvidia, Microsoft, Google and Apple. These are the ones I can sort of understand.
hopefully the MAS reform can at least get some of names like Grab and SEA limited to dual list here. The reduction of board lot from 100 to 10 for high price counter is a good start. But why not to 1?
@koolgal:🌟🌟🌟When the markets are volatile, $Sheng Siong(OV8.SI)$ is often considered a defensive play. As a supermarket operator, its business is less sensitive to economic downturns and market fluctuations. I am so happy that my investment in Sheng Siong has rewarded me not only with nice steady dividends but also capital growth too. Sheng Siong is up 63% year todate. It has even outperformed $STI ETF(ES3.SI)$ which is up 19% year todate. Slow and Steady Wins the Race! 🥰🥰🥰🚀🚀🚀🌛🌛🌛🌈🌈🌈💰💰💰🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬 @TigerClub @Tiger_SG &n
I believe in bottom up approach as the fundamentals of a company determines it's potential to stay afloat and reward investors. Getting a good company at a good price comes when the macro sets the market in fear.
I bought DBS during the COVID period around the $15-20+ range. Held it till now and the capital gains and dividend return (around 15+% yield on cost) is phenomenal. Will continue holding it for the long term as there is hardly much chance to get it at these prices. However, may sell some for rebalancing purpose in the future.
yes, I do believe in long term investing. I have punched holes for DBS during the COVID lows and have no sell button. More recently (since last year), with blue chip S-REITs like Frasers centrepoint trust, CICT when they were trading with discount to book and high dividend yield, giving me a high margin of safety and little downside.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! 11/11 sale, black Friday sale and extended sales over 12/12 to weed out the weak hands before welcoming a Santa rally?
Last year, AMD was spat upon where it's price slid monthly after month even with beat result. Come this year, everyone is sudden hyper bullish on it - the no. 2 in the chip space is now the darling and the leather coat NVDA camp is now in its shadow. I sold AMD at the 180 level and held on to NVDA which I think have a stronger moat with it's CUDA ecosystem. But who knows?
@Axekay:$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ share price performance does not make sense for a stock where analysts are forecasting a price target 30% higher than its current share price. It is not even congruent to $Futu Holdings Limited(FUTU)$ current share price performance. I am expecting more upwards potential in TIGR, how about you? [Miser]
Hmmm I'd say I'm more of a gold now but would like other games, drop rank to silver sometimes. currently still feel hapless against the macro and rumour mills that can flip the table suddenly.
