šŸ”·ļø Citigroup - High Yield Dividend stock satisfying the "4% Rule" šŸ”·ļø

$Citigroup(C)$  is a prominent Banking Giant that has met the "4% Rule" that financial advisors have been advocating as a guideline for retirement income planning. In fact, Citigroup's current dividend yield is around 5%, and it pays out every quarterly.

Its latest earnings released during October 2023 reported better than expected revenue for Q3 '2023. Citigroup's current share price is US$41.96; its PB Ratio is at 0.42, with a book value per share at US$99.28 (as at the quarter ending Q3' 2023). This has met my criteria of a dividend generating blue chip banking stock to DCA, especially so with fractional shares investing, with amount as low as USD 1 using Tiger Trade.

Citigroup is also Berkshire Hathaway's Top 20 holdings, giving Mr Buffett's fans like myself an added level of assurance. I am planning to further add long position into Citigroup at share prices under USD 40, and DCA at every 5% downward price correction (i.e. USD 38, 36, 34).

Citigroup is a long-lived bank that has withstood the test of time since 1812, giving me confidence and optimism in my investment journey.
