[Positive Guidance? Or Stay Positive?]

Forcasting the future for postive earnings for$Microsoft(MSFT)$  or$Alphabet(GOOGL)$  on the short term is about as easy as predicting who will win the next Singaporean Gold medal.

And as$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$  has shown, postive earnings can still translate to market madness and crashing leading to more opportunities for the uninvested. (Not a recommendation).

I am thinking that on the long run, earnings will be possible for BOTH MSFT and GOOGL.

Here's why.

MSFT case

I have been impressed by MSFT to be consistently embedded into so many PCs and Laptops dispute the relentless assault of GOOGL and APPL. Aside, MSFT has demonstrated a strong network effect, consistent innovation and deep commitment to improving itself.

Co-pilot is an example of this. Testing it professionally at my new role and in my mobile, I have found it useful in increasing work efficiency, doing better explanations and coming up with creative ideas at times. And as time passes, it can only get BETTER.

Of course MSFT pricing is another case which I would pray for a crash to pick up this stock directly. I am vested indirectly through index and trusts and I am grateful for its contribution to my wealth.

GOOGL case

I was seriously getting worried about Alphabet for a moment. Repeated retrenchmens. Loosing out in the AI battle round 1 when ChatGPT whipped Gemini version 1. And me getting more impressed with other AI search results.

Nonetheless, Alphabet has never ceased to amaze me with its creativity, moonshots and ability to thrive in tough conditions.

It's Google translate wins for most translations. Google drive is a blessing for me. And Google maps is a daily affair. I watch YouTube daily to increase my financial acumen. And Gemini 2 whipped most competitors recently, until Llama3 came out.

I'll be sneaking in the GOOGL office tomorrow for legit affairs for the first time so wink at me if you work there. (Of course I will be undercover mode lol[LOL]  )

I am vested in GOOGL directly and indirectly so take my comments with a pinch of salt. DYODD.

What next?

I am going to stay massively positive and load my bullets so that when the next major correction or recession hits, I can fire into these two juggernauts, provided my investment thesis holds.
