MAGS Roundhill Magnificent 7 ETF Is Rising

🌟🌟🌟In April there was a lot of talk about how the Magnificent 7 stocks should be rebranded as the Fabulous 4 or even Tremendous 2 because some members of the Magnificent 7 were lagging.  But that talk has quieten down as the laggards became leaders.

$Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF(MAGS)$ is an actively managed ETF that offers equal weighted exposure to the Magnificent 7 stocks.  They are $Alphabet(GOOG)$  $Amazon.com(AMZN)$  Apple, $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$  $Microsoft(MSFT)$  Nvidia and Tesla. 

MAGS is the first ever ETF to track the Magnificent 7.  The Magnificent 7 have led the markets in 2023 and it looks like 2024 will be another magnificent year for the Magnificent 7.

Tesla, the most beaten down of the bunch, has surged as much as 37% in a matter of days when Elon Musk, CEO paid a quick visit to China to kick start Tesla's plan to launch advanced assisted driving features in China by partnering with Baidu on mapping and navigation features.    Tesla is also planning to launch a low cost EV model scheduled in early 2025.  There is also talk of revealing Robotaxi plans on August 8.

Google rocketed to record highs after it reported strong Q1 24 earnings that reassured investors about its technological edge on AI. 

Apple, another company that seemed to be falling behind its peers when it comes to AI, reassured investors when its earnings beat market expectations.  It also announced the biggest buyback in history of USD 110 billion. Apple shares popped on Friday, their best day since November 2022.

MAGS is a big winner with the strong rally in the Magnificent 7 stocks.  MAGS has now reached its all time high of USD 40.38, up 3.43% in the past 5 days and has risen 23% year todate.  In 2023 MAGS has jumped 54%.  Since its inception date of April 11 2023, MAGS is now up 61%.

MAGS' equal weighting strategy has paid off over the last 2 weeks with Tesla outperforming Microsoft and other members of the Magnificent 7. 

MAGS expense ratio is 0.29%.  Distributions are paid annually.  The current Distribution yield is 0.39%.

I like MAGS ETF as it holds all members of the Magnificent 7 in just 1 basket.  For what it does, it is heaps cheaper than if I was to buy every member of the Magnificent 7 individually.  

The Magnificent 7 have been outperforming the markets due to their wide moat, great earnings, rock solid balance sheet and excellent management team. 

MAGS ETF packs a lot of power in just 1 ETF.  Best of all it is low cost and has lots of exponential growth ahead.
