I had been lost a lot of money from stocks before. Beside of my fulltime job , I had to do part time job like kitchen helper, server, dishwasher etc.  to earned side income to cover the loss. 7days straight , only sleep 4-5hours per day for months. Even now I still in red but at least no more debt.  [sigh]
What Job Would You Do if Stock Investments Fail?
Monday's crash might have caused many investors to be forcibly liquidated, especially those with leveraged accounts. Have you ever thought about what you could do if your stock investments fail?

Always use money that you can afford to loose when investing in stocks. Never borrow to buy stocks no matter how attractive the prices may seem to be. Stocks are highly unpredictable as the big fish can swallow all that you invest in. If you can afford to set aside a sum of money that you will not even need in times of need, yes the n invest that sum into a blue chip stock after doing your due diligence. Lastly, practice patience and atay rational.

I've lost alot before as well. A few lessons I learnt.
    1. Forgive but don't forget. Forgive yourself. Don't forget what happened. Learn from your mistakes and don't repeat. I was greed n took on too much risk and leverage.
    2. Have a clean slate. Don't revenge trade and try to make it back quick. Start from 0. Think about how to make money again steadily n safely.
    3. Manage your risk. Don't focus on how much you can make. Focus on how much you can afford to lose. As long as you are not bankrupt, you can always try again. Make sure losses are small. Invest for the long term instead of looking at quick profits.
