$Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF(SCHD)$ back in Schd! Sold off this etf over a year ago, because I decided to focus on higher yield dividend stocks. But seriously the price has dropped sooo much I just had to get back in. There is no logical reason I can see for the dramatic drop. Only brought a small position yesterday while i fact check and make sure I'm not missing anything.
But it seems crazy cheap given the diversification it provides. I don't like a couple of the stocks Schd is in, but overall way more great and safe dividend stocks. I will likely DCA in over the next two months while the market is quiet. Schd used to make up roughly 4% of my portfolio, unlikely I'll put that much in, but I could see investing up to $1000 in the next few months. December has reminded me of the need for solid foundational stocks over high volatility growth stocks. I got close to being margin called twice so far in December. A reminder to be more cautious. My portfolio was up $33k in November, this month it's been down as much as $13k and at market close today it's still down $5k, on paper.
I have been seriously Overweight in $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ and $SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$ and they have single handed taken my $10k investment to $45k in 6 months. But all of these stocks are no longer cheap, well long term they are still cheap, but not absolute bargains. Time to excise a few cheap leaps, and sell other calls I brought so I can add money to my dividend portfolio so I have bigger cashflows to fund my investments going forward @Daily_Discussion @Tiger_comments @TigerWire @TigerPM

Given this backdrop, it's definitely important to focus more on dividend stocks! π Iβll also add SCHD to my watchlist too! ππ
