🌟🌟🌟As tariffs force up the cost of US agricultural commodities such as soybeans and wheat, China's immediate response has been to deepen trade ties with countries such as Brazil and Argentina that offer competitive pricing.
This change will allow China to establish a long term strategy of supply chain diversification and enhanced self sufficiency.
In the short term China's food processors and livestock farmers may experience increased cost, leading to higher prices for the Chinese consumers but in the long term, the new supply chain will stabilise resulting in lower costs.
