Notes: There will be no overnight trading from 8 p.m. EST on Dec 24 to 04:00 a.m. EST on Dec 25. Overnight trading will resume as usual from 8 p.m. EST on Dec 25 to 04:00 a.m. EST on Dec 26.

SG :The Singapore market will close at 12 a.m. local time on Wed, Dec 24, 2025 and will close at local time on Thu, Dec 25, 2025.

HK :The Hong Kong market will close at 12 p.m. local time on Wed, Dec 24, 2025 and will close at local time on Thu, Dec 25, 2025 and Fri, Dec 26, 2025.

AU:The Australian market will close at 2 p.m. local time on Wed, Dec 24, 2025 and will close at local time on Thu, Dec 25, 2025 and Fri, Dec 26, 2025 in addition to Boxing Day.

NZ;New Zealand Market will close early at 12:45 p.m. local time on Dec 24, 2025 (Wed). Closed all day on Dec 25 (Thu) and Dec 26 (Fri, Boxing Day).

⚙️ Thursday — Futures Market Monitor price fluctuations in energy, precious metals, and agricultural futures.

Trading was thin ahead of Christmas, with the crude oil market largely flat as traders continued to weigh the two main factors influencing oil prices this year: escalating geopolitical tensions and the widely anticipated global supply glut. WTI crude fell 3 cents to settle around $58 a barrel, ending a five-day winning streak.

Spot gold fell 0.11% to $4,479.42 an ounce; COMEX gold futures fell 0.01% to $4,505.40 an ounce. Spot silver rose 0.62% to $71.87 an ounce; COMEX silver futures rose 1.04% to $71.875 an ounce.
