Nearly half of the planned US data centers are now being delayed or cancelled due to power shortages. Companies like Amazon, Oracle, Meta, Google and OpenAI have committed over $600B to AI infrastructure this year. Critical electrical components like transformers, switchgear and batteries can’t keep up with demand.
