🌟🌟🌟Do you remember in early 2024 the public rollout of Google's Gemini image generator triggered a full blown corporate panic after its diversity correcting system over optimised prompts so aggressively that it fundamentally rewrote world history?
Gemini rendered America's Founding Fathers & even medieval Vikings & German soldiers as a mix of Black, Asian & Native American people.
My good friend Sam said that it is over for Google. OpenAI is going to destroy them. He liquidated his Google shares at a sharp loss.
I disagreed with him & held on to my Google shares. Friends can hype up a massive tech panic or a speculative stock craze. But ultimately it is important not to be unduly influenced by them and do your own due diligence.
I am so happy that I held onto my Google shares & it has rewarded me well with capital appreciation.
Investing requires belief & conviction in the stocks we buy especially if we have a long term horizon.
