In fact SpaceX's own supply chain frequently relies on components engineered by Rocket Lab.
The true battlefield is about to shift from small launch to the medium lift area. The upcoming maiden flight of Rocket Lab's Neutron rocket represents the first direct threat to Falcon 9's dominance.
