πππThe S&P500 has just staged a spectacular 1.49% surge & gaining USD 1 trillion in market cap in a single day. The underlying catalyst was a short term drop in WTI Crude oil to USD 96 & a minor cooling of the 10 year Treasury yield to 4.95%.
Diving head first into the market at these levels is like sprinting to catch a high speed bullet train. The engine is undeniably powerful & the AI momentum is fueled by Jensen Huang's optimism.
However the market's spectacular bounce was too weighted. Big Tech like $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ did well as well as consumer discretionary sector. Meanwhile smaller companies and broader equal weighted S&P saw less than half of those gains.
I will continue to dollar cost average into my favourite ETF $SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF(SPYM)$ as it is time in the market that counts.

However if oil shocks or if interest rate anxieties flare up again, it may trigger a whiplash for anyone who hopped in at the peak.
