In my 6th year of investment journey, I started to look for other opportunities to invest other than in the local capital market in my country. Tiger is my first platform for investing abroad. First, because it's endorsed heavily by a stranger called: @kungpao in the telegram group (thanks to him, tiger brokers get many new users haha). Second, it has legit services and is under the authority and regulation of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Third, because its low cost so my tiny little retail money doesn't quickly dry up because of fees π€£

I was initially using other apps to invest in stocks but they were difficult to use and alienating to new investors like myself. When @duseve introducedthe app to me, I found an app that was easy to use, easy to understand, and that introduced me to a friendly, knowledgeable, and engaged community. I have learnt so much from reading articles and posts written by both experts and newbies alike; one teaches me how to invest while the other make me feel like i'm not alone. this is especially true when I see other people express the same frustrations towards certain stocks (lol). Kudos to the team at @TigerEvents and Tiger Brokers!
The app is my investment journey which I could able to have another vision to look on current environment. It's also learning experience on stock experience.
