Are you bullish or bearish on QCOM's earnings? Which chip stock is a better choice to invest in AI?

Definitely ARM
👍
$ARM Holdings Ltd(ARM)$ ARM should do the best this earnings. People are still unaware of how good and solid ARM's business model is and how their margins are so high. They literally sit there and collect money as other chip companies utilise their chip design to build their own products. Its a cutthroat industry and if you arent innovating and coming out with new products every year then expect to lose market share. ARM just needs to ensure their customers are happy and collect the royalty fees!

My Watchlist [46]: INTC (dtd 2/2/24)

Hi everyone! Here’s my long-awaited post on one of the eminent semiconductor companies: Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) Here’s a quick look at the daily chart. Note that the stock was trading in a rising wedge pattern (appearing to be bearish), but ultimately broke out of it, and has backtested the breakout at least once. I believe this is the second time we are backtesting the breakout. I note significant volume on the weekly candle on the first backtest, and potentially similar volume on this potential second backtest. What could possibly affect the weekly closing candle would be the news yesterday that INTC delayed its $20bn Ohio project from 2025 to late-2026. This caused a sell-off after hours yesterday. However, my expectation is that the weakness will be bought up over the session. The daily c

Semiconductor Soiree: A Rollercoaster Ride with Upside Potential

In the theatrics of the stock market, AMD recently took centre stage with an after-hours dip that left investors checking their heart rates. Is this the opening scene of a tragedy, or just a plot twist in the semiconductor saga? Fear not, fellow investors — we're here to decode the drama and find the silver lining in the silicon cloud. AMD's Dip: A Tumble, Not a Titanic Sink So, AMD ($Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$) stumbled a bit in the first-quarter guidance dance. But let's not forget, even superheroes have their kryptonite. Macro headwinds, like the wind messing up Superman's hair, played a part. PC demand doing the cha-cha and supply chain constraints tap dancing didn't help either. But hold your horses! These challenges aren't exclusive to AMD.

It's pullback time for chip stocks. The share price of AMD plunged after it offered a first quarter forecast that fell short of market expectations. AMD makes graphics processing units, or GPUs, which are needed to train and deploy generative artificial intelligence models. But the Artificial Intelligence market is still currently dominated by Nvidia, and it does not look like AMD can take over Nvidia any time soon. The stock market is forward looking. AMD  has to edge up its competitiveness in order to lead in the chips market.

Rebounding soon! It might be just a Temporary drop!
Pleasing a market on steroids! AMD had to really wow the markets. And for a market already pumped up on handy earning beats and voracious guidance ahead, what might be wow a few months back is just a meh now. To be fair, AMD posted fantastic results especially if you are looking for the correct information. I believe the markets are not looking in the right place. Yes computing is weak but AI is on track and fantastic considering M300 just released. As such, the markets being what they are, they don't make sense when they don't seem to see what you see. I am taking the weakness as an opportunity. However, the markets are ripe for a pullback and that is the inherent risk. Technically, AMD is still looking like it is in the middle of a third wave. However the pivot at 160 must hold. Below th
