Should I Buy Bitcoin at $25,000?

By Dominic BasultoKEY POINTS After successfully testing price supports at $20,000, Bitcoin now looks to test the $25,000 resistance level. The overall psychology of the crypto market suggests that momentum could be shifting in Bitcoin's favor. Normally risk-averse institutional investors are also showing pent-up demand to invest in Bitcoin. Dear Bitcoin investors, this might be your last chance to buy the dip.As we head into the final days of summer, we could be on the verge of a breakout for Bitcoin($Btc Health Ltd(BTC.AU)$ ). On Aug. 14, Bitcoin briefly traded above $25,000 for the first time since June. Understandably, this has the Bitcoin bulls excited because all the talk about"buying the dip"throughout the summer looks like it is ac

I also think the numbers will be higher as the numbers for avatar keep rising and boosting sentiment over movie theaters coming back.On a personal note, I am getting out and doing more things in public again and people that I know are as well. Many people shopped on Smile instead of small businesses because they knew they could still make an impact. Now all gone. Sales must be in the tank. Or worse. That’s bad.$Amazon.com(AMZN)$

Will Senti Biosciences (NASDAQ:SNTI) Spend Its Cash Wisely?

Even when a business is losing money, it's possible for shareholders to make money if they buy a good business at the right price. For example, biotech and mining exploration companies often lose money for years before finding success with a new treatment or mineral discovery. So, the natural question for Senti Biosciences($Senti Biosciences, Inc.(SNTI)$ ) shareholders is whether they should be concerned by its rate of cash burn. For the purposes of this article, cash burn is the annual rate at which an unprofitable company spends cash to fund its growth; its negative free cash flow. First, we'll determine its cash runway by comparing its cash burn with its cash reserves. How Long Is Senti Biosciences' Cash Runway?A company's cash runway is the a

By Harsh Chauhan KEY POINTS Growing demand for memory chips will be a huge tailwind for this chip stock. Investors can buy a potential metaverse winner at a relatively cheap valuation right now. These companies are set to ride secular growth trends. Technology stocks have been down in the dumps in 2022 -- evident from the 31.7% decline in the Nasdaq-100 Technology Sector index so far -- which means that there is a terrific opportunity for investors to buy some top companies on the cheap right now. Micron Technology($Micron Technology(MU)$ )andRoblox($Roblox Corporation(RBLX)$ )are two tech stocks that are available at attractive valuations right now following their horrid performance on the market

Xiaomi's business hit hard by China's Covid-19 lockdowns as profit halves in first quarter

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi$XIAOMI-W(01810)$ turned in weak sales and profit for the first quarter as China's strict Covid-19 lockdowns dampened demand and disrupted supply chains across the country. "This pandemic in China had a very big impact on our production and logistics," said Wang Xiang, Xiaomi's president, during an earnings call with reporters on Thursday. "Many of our stores in Shanghai are still closed." Wang also said the pandemic had dampened consumer confidence, contributing to weak sales. Xiaomi said its first-quarter revenue fell 4.6 per cent from the same period a year earlier to 73.4 billion yuan (US$10.9 billion). The Beijing-based company said its adjusted net profit fell 53 per cent year-on-year to 2.85 billion yuan in the

Why Shopify, MercadoLibre, and Sea Limited Plunged

$Lucid Group Inc(LCID)$ Hmm, was thinking. If Lucid hits its high number of 7,000 cars by year's end and the average car price is say $100,000, we're talking like $700M in revenue. That would be a HUGE increase in reveneus over Q3 of $195.5M. Increased revenues at this level of course means that it slows the cash burn and moves the company closer to profits, although profits aren't expected for awhile. Just saying, I believe this would be fantatic news and shows that the company is truly moving in the right direction. If they can continue to increase their production numbers Qtr to Qtr, increasing their revenues at the same time, that would be a huge plus. Don't see how this could be twisted as bad news ...please invest safe everybo

Taiwan Semiconductor Financials

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$The strength of the competitive advantages is reflected in the significantly above average profit margins the company has maintained over the last decade. Few companies in the planet have operating margins above 40%, and the ones that do usually have a very strong competitive moat. The competitive moat has also resulted in attractive returns on invested capital. Taiwan Semiconductor has averaged a ROIC of ~21% over the last ten years, and it has been higher recently at ~24%. This is not an asset-light company since it requires billions in investment. It is therefore close to the ideal business, one that can absorb enormous amounts of capital and still deliver very high rates of return on it.

SINGAPORE AIRLINES will soar above the sky

Airlines around the world have been decimated. Demand is way down because of lock downs and closing of borders and fear. With increasing visibility over the next year for vaccines and treatments, demand will return slowly and hopefully return to normal. SINGY should be able to navigate the next few quarters with their financials. In the midst of the pandemic, we picked up a few shares and we are safely in the green. Today according to an airline rating company, " Air New Zealand AIR, came in second place, while Singapore Airlines took the third spot as well as ranking best for first-class accommodations." Looking good long term, we are getting a great company in SINGY and when the dust settles, we should be getting a dividend again. The most serious problem is that Singapore has no domest
