$S&P 500(.SPX)$ has had a bad day yesterday as we know it, probably triggered by the latest inflation related news. I may be wrong, but I will be surprised if this is the start of the reversal. Rather than a technical analysis, I will explain from a macro level perspective. Everyone had a good weekend, it was the superbowl, it is the start of the Lunar New Year, Joe Biden posted on Tiktok, new Marvel deals, it's the Dragon year, more Feds on a 'no landing' Feds outcome, etc. As hard as it may seem to be, this is a temporary pullback, everyone is ready to move on again, everyone has accepted the inflated prices, the shrinking portion, the dystopic reality. The emotional buying and spending i
【Voting Post】$Synchronoss Technologies, Inc.(SNCR)$ mega bull run! Have you recently took profits from $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ , $ARM Holdings Ltd(ARM)$ or $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ ? Do you have some pocket change? You might want to consider SNCR! I recently exited my position in ARM (because I can't sleep with the unrealised profits sitting there!) and put into SNCR. SNCR has been on a bull run for a while and is expected to release its financial results in the next few weeks. The results are estimated to be better the the current consensus. We
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ Interesting business, interesting times. I am Daniel, an avid retail investors focusing on a value, growth and momentum investing. My aim is to trade for 3-5% profits through swing trades, minimising losses. Follow or friend me if you wish to see more of my comments. Here goes: As we all know that PLTR is in the business of security, cyber or data security. Security is very much similar to us as individuals buying insurance. Most of us wouldn't buy insurance on our own until we reach a certain age, particular the age where we start to get bombarded with information as to how our bodies can possibly fial us. Same with security services, money is poured into security/ defence wh
【Voting Post】$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ Life and guts!! When chatgpt started trending, I begun buying fractional shares on Tiger when it was around $370. Then it went up to $420 and I redeemed all of it thinking that's the cliff at the end of the world. However, a little flicker of hope in me thinks otherwise so I kept the fractional share contribution ongoing. Couldn't have been more proud of my decision! Gaming in the success of NVDA, I'm also vested in $Photronics(PLAB)$ which I think has alot of room for growth in the coming year. What do you think? $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$
Buy when the market is fearful. I strongly Buffett to look at China tech counters. They are fundamentally with a strong domestic market and huge international potentials. If I were Buffett, I would consider these 2: 1. $NIO Inc.(NIO)$ - even with the potential crunch, I think China EVs will remain strong given China's strong trade and political relationships with the producing countries. Personally I like NIO only because the name gives a nice ring, like $Coca-Cola(KO)$. However, I think NIO will be a hit if it eventually ventures outside China as those countries build up their EV infrastructure. 2.
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$I'm not sure if secondary listing is the right term since this is technical the 3rd one. Hence, tertiary listing perhaps?If NIO's aim is to raise funding from the Singapore government or to obtain grants and tax incentives, that would be a great idea. Otherwise, I would think listing in $SINGAPORE EXCHANGE LIMITED(S68.SI)$isn't a good idea. It has a very small market cap, the performance are flaccid at best and suspiciously manipulated by greater powers at play. It's common to see 'sell on news' for good counters, showing the lack of faith in the stocks. Coupled with the expensive regulatory requirement for board listing, is it really worth it?You don't see
$Walt Disney(DIS)$ economy reopening in more countries. expect it to return to 100 by late quarter three to four in year 2023. the inflation will likely plateau sometime in early 2023 where we will tip into deep recession and then start our recovery phase. in the same vein, I will also expect this counter to continue dipping by another 15-20%. for options players, I will go for a short put or long call at the current price. let me know what you think. cheers, dL
$Grab Holdings(GRAB)$ is founded by a Malaysian and behaves like the Malaysian government when it became independent. Started out great with lots of positives and potential. However, it turns out to be nothing more than a CASH-GRAB. My sentiments remain the same, there is no prospect in this business anymore within the foreseeable future.
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ Hi I'm Daniel. My relationship with Nio is like an ex-girlfriend, not the kind that you can still be friends with. I got into Nio at a great time back when it was hitting the all time highs, due to the EV hype. I also went into the pits with Nio during the China ADR crisis, the China property market bust. In short, I can say I know Nio quite well. I can say the management team at Nio is very futuristic thinking, as the name implies. They took a unconventional route to penetrate the market but trying to establish itself as a upmarket car brand, listing overseas in Singapore, partnering with smaller global car brands, battery swaps, just to name a few. These are tough battles that I cert
Hi, this is Daniel. You probably haven't heard of me but you may have read my posts on $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ and $Synchronoss Technologies, Inc.(SNCR)$. Recently my research brought me to$Unisys(UIS)$ . UIS has outperformed consensus in the last quarter and has been doing well despite the challenging consulting climate. Recently the share price has dropped slightly due to correction, making it a good entry point. UIS has retraced quite a bit due to correctionhave been down

TLDR - it is shit. If you are looking for a positive inspiring article, please give a like and move on with your search because this is not it. Thanks for reading, here goes my review/rant.This year has been tumultuous from various perspectives i.e. work, family, investments. Note: Following are just my thoughts. Not a technical or detailed analysis. 1. CRYPTO / LUNA CRASH Started cryto in October 2021, bought quite a bit of crypto, especially LUNA. Why did I buy it? it's greed and being naive. when the LUNA ecosystem crash overnight, there's nothing that could be done. Put your money in crypto only if you can and willing to lose all of it. Basically it is another form off gambling. 2. EQUITIES I was doing day trades on a few stocks NIO, Xpeng, tsmc, etc. it's all fun and game until y
I will stay and my reasons are as follows:1. History. In the past, everyone relies on traders or brokers, and brokers typically goes for their summer break from June to August. In modern times, we trade on our own and this logic no longer applies. 2. April is a statistically a good month based on past trends. Like many others, I have pinned my hopes on April but now I'm in too much red. I don't really want to realise the losses so I will hold. I know this is against many trader's mantra. You do you and I do me. 3. I won't buy anymore, but I will save up that money to build my war chest and wait for those macro level factors to slowly go away and take the chance to buy more. If you share my views, please like and comment on what are you stuck with! [Grin]&
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ is no doubt a top notch company and management. That being said, the current price is still based on the market expectation of what it could be in the foreseeable future.Realistically based on the current output and inbound recession, I will pick up some TSLA in the range of $470 to $500, this is to take a 15% discount of its current price
🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷 HAPPY WOMAN'S DAY 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷 Hi, it's Dan again. I asked my wife what makes her smile, she told me she wish to stay in a seaside town like cinque terra that will make her feel blissful and relaxed, full of smiles everyday. I hope one day I can make her dream come true. For now, a photo of a seaside town I generated from $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ gemini. I have not given up on them! It's a discount!! $Ocular Therapeutix(OCUL)$ is releasing result on 12 Mar and it's expected to be a good one. Medical stocks are flying these days, so give it a look see! @koolgal @all the best
Are Gen Z in Singapore spending more using e-wallets? Yes, in fact not just for Gen Zs, but millenials as well. It is quite prevalent that e-wallets or the greater fintech offerings is evolution propelling consumer spending, pushing banks, fintech, shopping and travelling platforms to greater heights. Hey it's Daniel again. I'm a millenial. Let's debate on this. What's the psychology behind this? I don't know, but my best guess based on personal experience is the ease of payment, especially if a E wallet is linked up with your debit or credit card. Your money is nothing more than numbers on a screen, it insensitivises the feeling that money is leaving you. Coupled with stronger data collection and analysis, the average consumer is, now more easier than ever, manipulat
【Voting Post】$Grab Holdings(GRAB)$ or Dash?! Being in Singapore, a Singapore tech company founded by a Malaysian with deep pockets and strong connections is always something that pips my excitement. Started as a protectionism mechanism to protect against the sprawling web of $Uber(UBER)$ at the time, fuelled by $DiDi Global Inc.(DIDIY)$ success in China, Grab quickly gained prominence in the Singapore and Malaysia market. From a consumer perspective and my experience with the various acquaintances working in Grab and gig workers supporting grab, I would say Grab is, at best, a leaking ship. They are losing talents and gig workers to the manp
Hi Kian, I agree that Warren wants to build a legacy but as Ray Dalio mentioned, a new world order is coming. What's a better way to cement WB's legacy than to pick the future leader stocks now?//@Dan1192:回复 @HilaryWilde:I agree, but why though. At his age, there's nothing much to lose//@HilaryWilde:I believe Buffett is afraid to invest in China market.
@Dan1192:If I were Buffett, I would consider these 2
