Author did not do proper research; Tesla EV has China component (eg CATL's cylindrical LFP EV battery) and doesnt qualify for the 7.5k tax credit in the first place due to the FEOC restrictions. Thats why Elon is okay with the EV tax credit scrap.

Actually consumer CPU market is not Intel’s forte; enterprise CPU is more sticky for Intel. But Intel’s main problem is never about the CPU losing market share to AMD, but its foundry losing massive money and STILL lagging behind TSMC by 2-3 generations due to weak mgmt. Even Intel’s lunar lake and arrow lake has to be fully outsourced to TSMC for mass production.
@Dick Elinor:$Intel(INTC)$ I know $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ ’s been making waves and stealing some of Intel's market share, but honestly, I still think Intel has the upper hand in the long run. The sheer size of the consumer market means there’s room for both CPU giants to coexist. Sure, the spotlight's on GPUs right now, and everyone’s chasing those, but I still believe in Intel’s fundamentals. They’ve got the experience, the infrastructure, and let’s be real, their position in the market is hard to beat. The company’s debt isn’t that high, so they’re not in a dangerous spot, and that gives me some confidence. I’ve decided to take a small position in Intel, betting on a potential rebound.

While you are right that SMCI are customers of Nvidia, Nvidia has a HUGE bargaining power over its customers; simply because demand is way higher than supply. Supply is so tight to the point Nvidia gets to allocate its gpu to whoever they want - be it SMCI, Dell, HPE, gigabyte, or even ODM such as Foxconn, Quanta, wiwynn etc. so now since SMCI is failing, Nvidia just reallocate the AI chip intended for SMCI to other OEM. I dont see anything wrong. And the origin of this article is from bloomberg//@Skysoul:Smci are customers of Nvidia , this article Is saying the other way round . Is this article ai generated validated ?

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$   Practically nobody is valuing TSMC using DCF. And the silly assumption of 20% growth is far short of consensus despite the insane AI trend.  Author is just evaluating TSMC with numbers on paper without truly understanding the company's fundamental and economic moat. 18x forward PER is SUPER cheap compared to semi monopolies such as Nvidia and ASML.

Nvidia’s GTC Event Day 1…. nothing exciting lei :(

Nvidia's GTC Technology Conference (GTC 2024) kicked off yesterday, highlighted by a keynote from Jensen Hwang spanning roughly two hours. With over 300,000 registrations (including online) and 10,000 attendees in the audience, this highly anticipated event rivaled the excitement of a Taylor Swift concert in Singapore! Ironically, Jensen Hwang began his address with a humorous remark, quipping, "Today is not a concert," despite his rock star appearance in a leather jacket. In the keynote speech, Nvidia unveiled its next-generation Blackwell accelerated GPU computing architecture and the upcoming B200 chipset, specifically tailored for AI and data-center acceleration purposes. However, aside from the debut of the Blackwell chip (which is already widely anticipated), there were no major reve

Brookfield is buying Optus for A$18bil from Singtel? Its too good to be true lah!

$Singtel(Z74.SI)$   Yesterday, Australian Financial Review reported that Singtel might be selling its subsidiary Optus to Brookfield. The potential deal is estimated to be worth around A$16-18 billion; and the reported news suggest the discussions are progressing well, and Brookfield might involve another company as a partner for the acquisition. Shortly after, Singtel dismissed the media reports that it is looking to offload Optus. From its announcement: “There is no impending deal to offload Optus for the said sum, as reported. Optus remains an integral and strategic part of the Singtel Group and we are committed to Australia for the long term.” A$16-18 billion valuation for Optus sounds too good to be true
