Tsla has 3 major attributes. Affordability, Quality and Technology.  This coupled with the ability to scale and produce EV in production. No single competitors can win TSLA in this EV race. But this is a winner takes most business.

Can we just take a step back and actually differentiate between Software update and Recall? I dont think Apple called IOS update as recall? Or your windows to be recall due to security update? ?

This battery changing thingy is stupid. The reason why NIO did this is due to the fact they do not have good battery technology! Can you imagine swapping ur new NIO car battery with a 3 year old battery that was used previously by another car? Come on.. setting this additional infrastucture is another cost.
