Lower price, lower margin lower share price as what most analysts would foresee. Similarly these are faced by Tesla's rivals. Tesla has the scale to command the pricing and many services revenue which can compensate for the lower margin. Sell off will be higher because all analysts expect lower margin as the main reason. What I see is after these massive sell off, the price would still be set to the supoort at 228-240.

Is this how a trade union should operate? By calling a strike, are you going to ensure these workers continue to have a source of income if Amazon removes workers or move their operations out of these countries.

Is there a vested interest in this article? Otherwise, this is just another skewed article just to bring down a person and the share price. There are too many moving parts to deliver a projection or inspiration. No dividends in this stock anyway, hence if you believe his words, go for it else stay out and keep your stereotype for yourself.
Tesla and TSLA Stock Would Be Better Off Without Elon Musk

Price cut is good as it cements its position as a leader in the EV industry. Analysts should not just see price drops as affecting margins. As a retail investor, I would like to see they sell more to remain market leader since they have the capabilities to produce the volume. When Tesla rivals can't play volume game, Tesla will neventually emerge as a winner (with more cars to make up for the same or more profits). It's a tough market so please stop seeing price car as an equation to bad sales.

I noticed there are always anal-ysts that always post views and articles when near quarter release. This has been the trend to move shares into quick sell/buy. After that, these articles accuracy just scoot off without having to bear the consequences of their "truth/false".

Two analysts send a listed company share price southwards! This is totally absurd![Surprised]  How often analysts hurt retail investors and get scot free when their crystal balls failed.

I recalled Elon made a remark that EV vehiclesare to be economical for a bigger good. And he has other products for higher margin. Once the market is flooded with his EVs, there are still milking products like his charging stations. Why are analysts punishing Tesla when slashing prices is a good thing for the general Consumers? Profits for the top analysts/bankers over savings for the mass?

I would expect more price cuts across the markets to completely dominate the EV sales. With new launches upcoming, from product lifecycle perspective.c this is highly expected. Analysts who don't understand product lifecycle see this as negative move to beef up revenue, and they will buy downward trend. It's a win winfor them, but for retails investors, we should not be led on by.

Agreed with the view of market dominance. Only market leader can command the price. If Tesla decides to go cheap, they have the capacity to double or triple the volume to make up for the price difference, but can others follow suit? This is where Tesla target price looks reasonable.

Only market leader with that kind of capacity can set the price. Anaylsts see price cut as share price drop but failed to realize with volume and capacity, each price cut *WILL* displaced your rivals completely! 👍

When you have the volume, you can determine the price hence margins. Up or down either way you can still meet the numbers, but your rivals will suffer. That's a leader, can't imagine how much times analysts are wrong to keep barking up the wrong tree.

This article appears to be very skewed or biaised towards Tesla. Very selective towards useof data citing market volatility and reference to old historical data where doesn't have any relevancy to today's market challenges or Covid-19 driven market forces. Indeed a very simplistic view which I will chose to read with little pinch of salt.

"I thought the strong USD would eat away...". Looks like it was a bad call when Apple is already pricing in these factors. Yet this call punished Apple trading price which in turn hurt retail shareholders hard. This article just appears to me the author is simply correcting his own short sightedness than correcting the markets.
