My favorite snack for CNY is peach gum dessert. This is the very first drink to have before eating breakfast in CNY in my family. It taste sweet which means to begin new year with sweetness. Besides, we become healthier as well due to the very best ingridients : peach gum, dried longan, red dates, gojiberries. Happy CNY everyone!!
@Tiger_Academy:Hi, tigers~Today, I will focus on using the "three-step method" to teach you to understand $AMD 's Q2 financial report, and I also bring a free course for you. US Stock Financial Statements for Beginners At 10 p.m. on August 9, U.S. President Biden signed the "CHIPS and Science Act 2022" in Washington, marking a rare high-subsidy bill for a single industry finally taking effect.Unexpectedly, chip stocks fell collectively that day, with Applied Materials down more than 7%, ASML, STMicroelectronics down more than 5%.In recent days, memory-chip maker Micron Technology and chip giant Nvidia both cut their revenue forecasts for the current quarter, putting the industry, already battered this year, on shaky ter
@ToughCoyote:In the past 5 years, more than 4 years have been oscillating in the bottom area, and the main wave has been rising for 2 months! If the median cost in the bottom area is calculated at 10 yuan, the current maximum is 33 yuan, and the profit is more than 200%. 1. Profits are learned, not traded. If you trade in the past two months, you will lose at least 1/2 or 1/3 of the 200% profit, because you will definitely step on 2. No matter what the market is, look for a stock that you are sure to make money, and hold it firmly to achieve the final victory; 3. A stock may only rise 10% of the time, and the remaining 90% of the time It's either adjusting or falling. If you held the stock 90% of the time, but sold it before the last 10% because you couldn't stand the 'long ordeal', that's sad.
Why Wide Moat Businesses May Not Be a Good Investment
I used to assume that businesses with wide moats are going to be good investments, provided you bought them at the right price. In Buffetts parlance, a business with a wide moat means that it has a huge competitive advantage that keeps competitors at bay, allowing the company to earn good profits on its investment. That seems intuitive and logical, doesn't it? But there was a caveat. An unspoken rule. Having a moat is important, but the trajectory of the moat is even more important. It is more important to have a growing moat than a wide oneIf we only cared about the size of the moat and not the direction, over at some point we would have picked:– Blockbuster over Netflix– Yahoo over Google– Nokia over AppleThis mistake isn't just made by investors. Management of these companies too made the
Buy When There's Blood in The StreetA famous quote from Nathan Rothschild for contrarian investing can produce great profits. Applied to semiconductor industry which is not favorable this time, I think it good time to collect some of semiconductor stocks. Though facing supply chain disruption first and then slowing demand due to high inflation, this industry is still believed as promising sector in long run for EV/AV, IoT, data center etc. To pick which stock to buy depends on investors preferances such as low p/e, high dividend yield, wide moat and market leader and so forth. For low p/e, there are $Micron Technology(MU)$ , $Intel(INTC)$, $Advanced Semiconductor Engineering(ASX)$. For high dividend yield, it is ASX as well. For those who loves to buy wide moat and market leader, there is
